What can i say... You know that you have done a great story here...without any doubt i can say thats one of the best stories i ´ve ever read ! Wonderful in - character Hector, those mysterious flashbacks Elizabeth has, that thrilling and touching love - scene between them, that sad jealousy - scene between Hector and Marilyn, that all drives me deeper and deeper into that story and those fantastic characters. I´m wondering when Elizabeth find out more about her and Hectors ( I love him !!! ) history in the past, can´t wait getting more informations about it ! With trembling fingers, goose- bumps on my arms, burning notebook, i´m now reading further.... PLEEEEAAAASE KEEP WRITING !!!!

Oh what a wondeful story ! I cannot describe my feelings with my own words as i would like, because english is not my mother language (come from germany ). It is a unusual story fic about PotC, but absolutely well written, gripping, exciting...!
I love the relationship between Hector and Liz because in the third movie something subtile ( sexy ? ) grew up between them, i can not explain. I believe that´s the guy, Hector, is the pirate Liz really desired and dreamt of since her childhood. And in the whole third movie they match perfect together in all matters.
I really love Hector Barbossa´s character ( physically too, of course... hehe..)and especially his dialect ( West Country accent ? What is it ...).
I´m reading now chap 5 and i´m so curious that i may not sleep tonight !!!! Love it !!!!

Oh my. As usual, fantastic updates! 28 was action packed, it set me on the edge of my seat, made me laugh a bit, and cringe and even, cry. You naughty girl you! Lovely choice sending everyone back. They would be happier where they were instead of in the present and I think after a time, I would hate living through centuries and centuries, so I'm sure they are happy. What a night to send them back to. Absolutely perfect choice, but of course as the incredibly talented authoress of this story, you knew that. You made an absolutely seamless transition from the And present into the past. Great job. As usual I was able to picture everything quite vividly thanks to all the effort you put into the details. And holy cow, I got goosebumps when I first read that Barbossa was wearing a feather hat, and then when she said the same thing she said in her sleep after their first coupling in the present....Barbossa was wrong. And I am dying, as I hang by my eyelash from the cliff of doom, while I wait to find out what his reaction is to her utterance. LOL. Evil cliffhanger woman! Although, I think you could say I'm the pot calling the kettle black....LOL. I can't wait to read more, as always, and I eagerly await the next chapter!

I like it!!! Barbossa's being a bit of a cad, but he's just making her admit what she's felt for a long time. Grand work, and I look forward to seeing where you'll take them next.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad I finally got to reading these chapters, because what a wonder they have been! I love Norrington and his ever-shifting loyalties. Beckett's death that perfectly echoed his demise in AWE. And I LOVE where you went with the mirror. It hit me that they'd have to use the mirror somehow just a few paragraphs before Calypso spelled it out for them, and I'm SO glad you decided to go there! Just when it looks like this story is about to wind up, you throw a fantastic curve ball like this into the mix. I cannot wait to see what happens when they go back, and what the big day is! "I've made my choice, what's yours?" "Barbossa...." Oooh, I'm all a-twitter with anticipation now! Thank you so much for sharing this story, and I cannot wait for the next chapter now!!

    Best Chapter Yet!

I truly enjoy your writing. I could feel and see every moment in this chapter. I felt so empathic for Barbossa. I like the fact that he was able to share his pain with Elizabeth and that she didn't see him as being weak, but admired him for letting her share.

*sits looking dumbfounded* I honestly had no idea that her shack was supposedly on the same island as the canibals. Really? That makes no sense. At all. I assumed it was in a Lousiana bayou. I am starting to question Disney's logic and smarts. Were they really that lazy in creating the backstory of the movie? 'So uh....yeah...let's put Tia Dalma's shack on the canibal's island. Who cares if it makes no sense. We're lazy fucks.' LOL. I loved your description of their journey to her shack, and of the shack itself. I could see everything very clearly in my mind. Poor Hector for having to suffer so much to come back to life, and made to strike a deal with Calypso to free her as payment. Poor man. I can't imagine how awful it must have been for him. I read another story somewhere, where she brought him back in a different way...it was not painful....but pretty disgusting none-the-less. LOL. It was just a one off, and another one explaining just how Tia Dalma tried to kill Jack. Teehee. Hector saved him. ^.^ I'm glad Hector decided to share with Elizabeth his pain. And if I may say....naughty Lizzie for treating my Jack so harshly. I freaking ADORED the fact that he pouted though...that's so Jack. I loved the way Elizabeth was not at all willing to share Hector. Cat fight!! LOL. And I also loved that Tia Dalma 'preened' when Jack burst into her shack. ^.^ He does seem to have that affect on women doesn't he? LOL. As usual, you managed to leave us with yet another horrible cliff hanger. You have such a talent for them. Well, the action really starts though next chapter. Let the dispatching of ickle Beckett begin!!

Wow!! So much happened in this chapter my head is still spinning. The sexy captain and his bulgy muscles, Elizabeth's lustful eploration of his body in front of the crew, Hector taking Beth over that table, his admission about giving up the title of Captain, and ickle Beckett setting the boats on Wisteria on fire. Whew. Lots going on. Firstly, I had a very clear picture of Hector as he raised the mainsail, I could picture everything so clearly, his muscles rippling as he hauled up the canvas, I could feel what dear Lizzie was feeling almost. Woof. LOL. T'was a lovely display of his might. ^.^

Then of course, how she couldn't help but come over to him and feel his hard body, I half expected her to lick the drop off water off her finger after she wiped it from his chest. The crews reaction to that display was wonderful. I about died laughing, imagining the group of men watching Lizzie like that, and whoopping and hollaring and teasing the pair. 'Is that all yer gonna do? Lay yer eyes on her?' That was brilliant.

And the way he took her in his cabin over the table, so rough, he didn't hold back at all, and our Lizzie certainly had a good time eh? ;) That was hot, and unexpected, so hurray for hot, steamy smut in the morning, er...afternoon rather..... ^.^

Poor Lizzie felt guilty when Barbossa said he was going to be captain anymore. I understand where Hector is coming from, and I am sure she does as well. I can't help but think Calypso wouldn't be so cruel as to have made Hector wait so long for Elizabeth, only to have to watch her wilt, and fade away. I am hoping, as you can see, that she will grant Elizabeth imortality as well. Please? *makes puppy dog face*

Ever since I have red Grace's story, and yours, I now have a soft spot for your Hector. You make me notice things about him I wouldn't otherwise, and I pay more attention to him any time I watch any of the pirate movies. ^.^

Now, of course ickle Beckett would do something like that. He has no qualms about doing whatever it takes to get what he wants. And I have to say, I was NOT surprised that Ragetti had figured out what Beckett's motives were for setting the boats/ships on fire. He is a very smart man. Something I think people don't notice about him from the movies, because they are too distracted by Jack, (or ickle Will), or Elizabeth. As I have watched the movies more, I pick up on more and more things that he says, and does. The biggest thing that surprised me, was in AWE, when they go to the island, and find the Kraken dead. Pintel says something about the fish being dead. And Ragetti says in almost an offhanded way, 'Actually, it's a cephlapod'. (sp) How would he know that if he weren't intelligant? Elizabeth's observation about him was right on. He does have a way of looking at things that is different, outside of the box as it were.

Well, as usual, you have left me on the edge of my seat my dear. This was a fabulous chapter, and as always, I am eager for the next installment. Since things have been so horrible stalled for the story I was holding back on updating, I am going to go ahead, and send over the next part of the next chapter if you don't mind.

Wowee!! What a steamy love scene that was!! (No pun intended...well, maybe a tiny one. ^.^) And completely suited for the moment too, not a time for gossamer lovemaking after what they just survived. I LOVED Hector's worry that his heart would be strong enough to survive their coupling. Elizabeth's desire to want to ride on the back of his Harley forever was just lovely. Oh my poor poor Jack. LOL. All that whinging over a little bullet wound. LOL. I absolutely LOVE their chemistry in the movie, and you certainly have captured it well in your tale. All of Hector's eye rolling at Jack in the movies make me laugh. He always gives him such a withering look, and you can only imagine what's going through his mind. So I got a clear image of him doing that very thing when I read about it here. LOL. I laughed out loud during that whole scene. LOL. 'Shite flinging Simian' was a great line. ^.^ Well, as usual this was a great chapter, and I am eager for the next installment. ^.^

    I LOVE THIS STORY!

Thanks for posting more! Sorry about wanting more so quickly and I'm also sorry about your writer's block - but you sure recovered well!

There is just such a wonderful synergy between 'Lizabeth and Hector. I can see the story unfurl so well and with such torment, wonder, beauty, passion, love, despair and almost every other emotion displayed in the story between the different characters and I can feel the story so strongly.

Please write more soon! I am so enjoying it.

    Thanks!

Aaaahhh! Oh, this is wonderful! I love how taking Jones out was, in a way, a reworking of the 3rd movie, modernized, Barbossabeth-ized...and brilliant, as is all of this story. And the ending. Ungh!! Oh, to have Hector in the shower! I love her memories of him - that's exactly what made me fall in love with his character as well. Such tenderness between them. I'm so glad to have the romance resolved, and I know what those two are getting up to tonight! Now to find Jack and Beckett and deal with them! Can't wait for more!

Well firstly, let me skip forward and work my way back!! Hurray that they are together and naked, and admitting they love each other. I loved Elizabeth's speech about how she loved him because of who he was, not in spite of. Very touching. I gagged when Lizzie was undressing in her cabin and a piece of flesh (or brain was it?) fell from her hair. *shudders* yuck. I can totally see her whole rampage with the towel bar. I know the poor thing was very frustrated at not having been the warrior she used to be. The description of the battle, and the shooting was very nice. I loved how Beckett pussed out, and Jones charged out. The description of his death, was very very very realistic, as I pictured every bloody bit in my head, and it kind of grossed me out a bit. ^.^ But that's what you're going for eh? not the gross out factor, but being very vivid. ^.^ I also loved the picture I got of the fog and the sand sort of mixing together. It was very lovely. Well, I can sense there are only a few chapters left. *sniffs* But I am still eager to read the rest and hopefully you will cook up another masterpiece for us to read. ^.^

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed in so long! As usual, another great chapter. I can't say how happy I am to have Elizabeth mouthing off and refusing to take orders from anyone!

OK, hurray!! I am so relievd to find that Jack wasn't a betrayer, that it was all part of the plan. And I was even more relieved when Hector revealed that his crew were following them. So, Lizzie finally worked things out, but Hector didn't seem too pleased. I mean, I understand where he's coming from and all, but dammit, men can be so stubborn sometimes. I laughed out loud when Lizzie tried to pull rank on him. I just have to say again, how much I love reading this story. It is so well written, and the details of the pas mesh so nicely in with the present. Interesting to know though, that the fountain only gave him 10 years, and that eternal life was given by Calypso. Why exactly did she do that I wonder? What purpose could it serve for her to keep the crew of the Black Pearl alive for all these years? She's such a crafty wench. ^>^
Poor Lizzie, I would have been so angry to learn that I was used as bait. I am also glad though, that he stopped trying to treat her like Will did, and gave her a gun and let her fight. I think someone that you know how to do in a past life, will carry with you. She won't forget how to be a badass pirate warrior. I can't wait for the next update, take your time though. I can wait. You can't rush these things. XXOO Ero
