IT'S ABOUT BLOODY TIME! Their teasing in the chapters before were torturing me to find out what will happen.
I love that dress! It so contrasts with her light hair and fair skin.

Well, now that they are intimatly involved with each other, will Beth learn of her past life? I'm amazed she hasn't had any flashbacks or hints of her past life.

Oh, you cruel woman, leaving us hanging that way! Seriously though, this just keeps getting better. I do feel quite bad for Marilyn, and hope she finds her way without resorting to more cruelty and violence though. Love how you're using her in the story though.

And Liz in the dress! Oh, I can't wait for that! Looking forward eagerly to the next!

Wow! This is getting good! When will Beth learn about her past life? Is the goddess Calypso gonna make an appearance?

Oh and lovely choice fer a bike in chapter 8. What made ye choose that particular make and model? My dad has a 1976 Black Honda Goldwing with velvet brown seats. Awesome bike.

ANY WAY! GREAT WORK! KEEP IT UP!

Is anybody else hearing "1952 Vincent Black Lightening" playing in the background? I was so excited to see two new chapters up so quickly! What's Calypso's game, I wonder? There's so much intrigue here. The rich sexual tension between Hector & Beth (the urgency of Hector's need makes me wonder if he's just *that* randy, or is there some other force at work besides), Elizabeth's mysterious attacker, the conflict between Tony and the Blackhearts (great name, btw!), and Calypso getting in the middle of it all. I really love this world you've created, and I look forward to reading more!

Oh, I love it! Grace told me about this story months ago, and it was like a movie trailer - I've been waiting to see what it was, and wow, you sure didn't disappoint. Modern day stories don't always work, but I love what you've done with this one. I love the modern reincarnations of Elizabeth, Will, and James, and I can't help but wonder where Jack is.

This is seductive and steamy, clever, and funny. Oh, and what a great choice of song for Barbossa to sing. Great Big Sea, is it? Though I know it better from singing it at Ren Faires. Thank you for reminding me of the song's existence though!

Everything about this tale is wonderful. Barbossa is himself, but mellowed, as one would expect, and absolutely delectable as ever. I'm so glad you posted this, right when I was craving some Barbossabeth too! It's brilliant, and I certainly hope you continue. Thank you so much for writing!

Laura, I just don't know what to say! First off, I'm super psyched that you've posted this, and I was so excited to see that you've already collected your first review! I am posting a link to your fic over at livejournal as soon as I'm done here!:-)

And you give me far too much credit! All I've ever done was look at your stuff and poke holes.lol It's you coming up with this fantastic world we're all enjoying, and it also you who is filling up the holes I poke! Thank you so very very much for the mention, but as I said, I have had very little to do with the wonderfulness of "Adrift!":-)

I'm so glad you're finally sharing this!

    Grace
