This was a challenge chapter. I hope you
like it!
The ship bearing Shra'van and the others
sped silently through the inky blackness of space. Those aboard, were quiet with the tension of
anticipation. “I see their ship now,” Lo’kesh nodded towards Shra’van. “We will
be docking in a few moments.
“Let’s just hope we are not too late,”
Shra’van sighed as he noticed Ku’mar was already docked with his sisters'
ship. He turned to see his brothers
strapping on their weapons. “Do not kill Stef’na’s sons. I made a promise to
Ra’tul.”
“I don’t give a shit about your promises.
If they have harmed my siblings, they will die,” K’garn growled at him. Of all
his brothers, his pre-battle ranting was the most intense, as he readied
himself to fight. Once he was in battle mode he was prepared to take down
anyone.
Su’ram noticed Lo’kesh strap on a
shuriken. He was about to question Lo’kesh’s choice of weapon, or lack thereof,
until he remembered an incident when an older warrior touched Su’tara’s
backside. Lo’kesh chopped off the older male’s hand so fast everyone wondered
where the shuriken had come from. Lo’kesh roared letting everyone know it was
him, as he held up the blood stained weapon.
“That is all you are going to take with
you?” Shra’van questioned as the ship docked.
“It is all I need,” he replied in a
nonchalant tone. He looked over at Z’as-hil, who was also preparing to fight.
“Since you are fighting Kuja, you may want to take a few more knives with you.”
They laughed at him, when he answered Lo’kesh with a growl. Lo’kesh patted him
on the back to show no harm was meant, before stepping off of the ship.
(Mi’tra and Kuja's ship)
“What do you mean they are almost here!”
M’gor growled angrily. Ku’mar had found him in the observation room pacing back
and forth. At that moment, Jasmine walked in and stopped suddenly as M’gor
snarled at her. She looked over at Ku’mar, before turning away, ashamed. He
noticed the color change in her cheeks and knew she was embarrassed from their
interaction the previous night.
“Instead of playing with the ooman, you
should have been ripping her nails out and forcing her to talk.”
Jasmine didn’t need to understand their
language to tell they were talking about her. “I was just looking for Kuja…”
she stammered. Before she could turn around, M’gor walked over to her and
grabbed her arm. He forced her towards Ku’mar.
“Ask her where that bastard is!”
“Jasmine,” Ku’mar growled. “Stop playing
games and tell me…”
“I don’t know,” she cut him off. M’gor
squeezed her arm tighter, grabbing her neck and slamming her body against the
wall. He roared with fury as he squeezed her neck with his powerful hand.
Mi’tra walked in on Gri’shm, San’ja and
Le’kah. They stopped talking and stared at her for a moment. She lunged towards
the controls, and she growled furiously. “You bastards. You were breaking our
controls, not repairing them!”
“Where is Ta’noj?” Gri’shm snarled. He
extended his wrist blade as he glared angrily at her.
Kuja entered the observation room and
immediately pulled out her dagger.
“No one has to die, Kuja,” San’ja
growled. “Just tell us where Ta’noj is! I know he is on the ship.”
“Watch your tone with my mate,” Z’as-hil
bellowed as he walked into the room followed immediately by K’garn and Ad’vey.
Kayla's sons stood ready to fight and they were an impressive sight.
“Z’as-hil?” Kuja looked at him like he
lost his mind. “What the hell are you doing here?”
“Protecting you,” he growled at her.
“Kul’vir’s sons were planning this all along.”
“I don’t care if they were!” she yelled
as she pushed his chest. “I do not need protection from you! And I am not your
mate! Go protect the whore you decided to fuck on the day of our ritual!”
Mi’tra shook her head with disgust,
before pushing Gri’shm out of the way so she could work on the controls. “I
have never seen two people carry on an argument for over a century. Kuja you
are a dweller.”
“Kuja,” Z’as-hil pleaded as she stormed
out of the room. He followed her.
Jasmine looked on in horror as neon green
blood splattered across her face.
M’gor’s grip on her neck was instantly released, and he roared in pain.
Jasmine slumped down on the floor as she stared at the detached hand twitching
on the ground. Lo’kesh grunted as he caught his shuriken.
“I told you it was all I needed,” he
turned to look at Shra’van.
“I said not to kill!” Shra’van roared as
he walked towards M’gor.
“He will live,” Lo’kesh looked down at
Jasmine and tilted his head to the side.
“Shra’van,” Ku’mar growled as he readied
himself to fight.
Shra’van didn’t bother to even look at
Ku’mar. He too stared at Jasmine for a moment before reaching his hand out to
her. Jasmine was hesitant. She looked around to see four large males filling
the room with their menacing presence. Suddenly, the large, spacious
observation room seemed very small. She focused her attention on Lo’kesh and
gasped. He was bigger than Ta’noj. He returned her stare with curiosity. She
finally reached out grasping Shra’van’s hand, and he pulled her up from the
floor.
“Why do they have an ooman onboard?”
Lo’kesh questioned.
“She is Ta’noj’s mate,” Shra’van said as
they continued to study her.
“I knew you were carrying that bastard’s
baby!” Ku’mar snarled as Su’ram pushed him away. “I should have killed you last
night.” Su’ram punched Ku’mar square in the face, before kicking him in the
stomach.
“She is expecting,” Shra’van gasped as he
listened carefully. “Ta’noj is fighting for his life, and yet he has time to
make pups?”
Jasmine knew she shouldn’t stare but the size
of the Yautja that chopped off M’gor’s hand was huge. She thought Kuja was
joking when she said they can get bigger.
“Why is she staring at me?” Lo’kesh
questioned. He stepped closer to her. “Do you understand me?”
Jasmine stared a moment longer before
looking over at Shra’van and Su’ram. She looked back at Lo’kesh. “I’m sorry; I
do not know how to speak your language, but thank you for saving me.”
“You are welcome,” Shra’van spoke to her
in English before nodding in her direction. “Where is Ta’noj?”
"Fuck," Jasmine thought. “I do not know
what you are talking about.”
Su’ram nodded at her willingness to
protect his brother. “I like her,” he spoke in Yautja. “She cannot lie to save
her life, but she is protecting our brother.”
“Jasmine,” Shra’van spoke softly. “My
sisters are busy. Kuja is arguing with her future mate…”
“Ah, Z’as-hil,” Jasmine smiled. “She
really likes him.”
“And Mi’tra is trying to get the controls
back online…”
“Wait, you said, your sisters?” Jasmine
repeated. She stared at his green eyes, but they were not filled with the same
compassion as Ta’noj and Kuja’s. Jasmine didn’t know what to believe.
“Yes, I’m Shra’van,” he nodded. “And the
male you keep staring at is my older sister’s mate, Lo’kesh.” Lo’kesh heard his
name and nodded in her direction. Jasmine nodded in return. “And those are our
brothers, Su’ram and Mordecai.”
“Our?” she repeated.
“Yes, you are part of our family now,”
Shra’van tried to explain quickly. “You are mated to Ta’noj and having his pup.
Where is my brother?”
Jasmine remembered how Ku’mar told her
Ta’noj killed thousands and others were after him. She also remembered how
Ku’mar had tried to trick her. She shook her head as she tried to think of
Ta’noj's siblings' names. He told her before, but she completely forgot. “I
don’t know what you’re talking about…”
Shra’van roared angrily at her, and she
stepped back. “You are willing to save him to the death? Is that why this male
was squeezing the life out of you? He wanted to know where my brother was?”
“I think he asked the same question,”
Jasmine spoke softly as she tried not to look at the impatient Yautjas in front
of her. She looked over at the quiet Yautja that watched her. His eyes were
identical to Ta’noj’s, but an emerald green like Kuja’s. Mordecai, she
smiled. I do remember that name, but which one is Mordecai? Before she
could give them the information they sought, Shra’van grabbed her neck softly.
He did not wish to harm Jasmine, but merely scare her.
“You are willing to die for Ta’noj?”
Jasmine stared at him for a moment. She
noticed he didn’t squeeze her neck, but simply held it. She slowly removed his
hand. “He is in our quarters,” Jasmine nodded. “Follow me.” She stopped and
turned to look at the males behind her. “Yes, I’m willing to die for him, but
I’m not willing to put our child in danger.”
“Why did you tell the truth?” Su’ram
questioned.
“Shra’van didn’t try to choke me, and his
eyes are beautiful,” she turned and smiled at Mordecai. “They are like Kuja’s.”
Mordecai shook his head at her in disbelief. When they walked into her
quarters, Ta’noj immediately appeared and gaped at his brothers in shock.
Shra’van walked up to him.
“You have grown over the years,” Shra’van
nodded. He didn’t bother to shake his shoulder, he hugged his brother tightly.
“You have a very brave second mate.”
“She is wonderful,” Ta’noj purred softly
before letting his brother go. Su’ram and Mordecai hugged him as well. Ta'noj
was overwhelmed with emotion that he refused to show, as he dispassionately
greeted the family he hadn't seen in so long.
Jasmine watched as he shook the larger
males shoulder. Ta’noj walked over to Jasmine and touched her neck where it was
already beginning to bruise, before howling with rage. He turned to look at his
brothers. “It was M’gor,” Lo’kesh nodded. “He is still alive if you wish to
kill him.”
Ta’noj was about to storm out of the
door, but Jasmine called out to him. He turned to look at her. “Don’t,” she
shook her head no before reaching her hand out to him. She knew where he was
going. He hesitated for a moment before walking back over to her. “I’m ok. The
really big one saved me.” Ta’noj looked over to Lo’kesh and nodded in
gratitude.
“Damn, where were you a century ago?”
Su’ram joked.
“Um, I wasn’t born,” Jasmine didn’t know
he was just kidding. “Are you over a hundred years old?” Su’ram sighed and shook
his head.
“Brother,” K’garn trilled softly as he
walked in. Ta’noj emitted a low growl before punching him in the stomach.
Su’ram chuckled as Ta’noj started to
apologize. “I am sorry. I thought about the child you had with Kavi’ta, and I
could not contain my anger.”
“Your brother had a baby by your mate!”
Jasmine looked at him in shock. Shra’van shook his head and tried not to laugh.
“I will explain later,” Ta’noj mumbled.
K’garn nodded as he nursed his wounded
stomach. He looked over at Jasmine. “You will have a bigger fight when you get
back to the ship if this is your mate.” He paused for a moment. “She is
carrying your baby?”
“I’m Jasmine,” Jasmine smiled as she held
out her hand.
K’garn looked at it before looking into
her eyes. “You wish to spar with me in your condition? Are you a fighter as
well?”
“We do not shake hands,” Ta’noj whispered to
her. “I will explain later, also.”
Jasmine bit her lip before shaking K’garn’s shoulder. He grunted at her,
nodding in her direction.
“She is an ooman version of Kavi’ta and
Mother,” Ad’vey chuckled. “Did you get lonely, Ta’noj?”
Before he could answer, Shra’van stepped
up to him. “Follow me.” They walked slowly to the control room where Ad’vey and
K’garn had left Stef’na’s sons in the care of Mi’tra. They snarled when they
saw Ta’noj walk in. He stared back at them. Ta’noj looked down at Jasmine when
he felt her squeeze his hand. Shra’van turned back to look at his little
brother. “Did you kill Ro’shan?” Ta’noj gave him a nod filled with regret, as
he slowly went for his dagger. Shra’van held up in hands. “Just explain.
Ro’shan's brothers deserve the truth, as do I.”
Ta’noj sighed as he told them what
happened. He gave them more detail than he had Kuja. Jasmine stood silently as
she listened to their language. Some of the things Ta’noj was saying made them
angry, but others made them nod their heads.
“Why did you not tell us this!” Ku’mar
growled.
“You say one more word to me, and I will
chop your fucking head off,” Ta’noj growled as he walked closer to him. “Do not
think I forgive you for manipulating my mate.”
He looked over at Le’kah. “And if you even think of touching her again,
you will die.”
“Is he threatening them?” Jasmine
whispered to Su’ram.
“Yes,” he whispered back, not looking at
her. “You ask too many questions. How old are you?”
“Twenty.”
“No wonder, you little pup,” he chuckled
looking in her direction. He placed his hand on her head and shook it softly.
“One more word Z’as-hil,” Kuja yelled as
she walked to the control room. Everyone turned to look at her.
“Kuja,” Z’as-hil growled. He couldn’t
finish what he was about to say because Kuja kicked him in the stomach. They
grimaced as they watched Z’as-hil fall on one knee in pain.
“Why did you bring him on my ship!” Kuja
walked up to Shra’van.
“He followed me here,” he snapped at her.
“Forgive him already, Kuja!”
Lo’kesh looked at Z’as-hil and laughed.
“She is going to kill you.”
“Then I will die begging for her to
forgive me,” he coughed up a little blood before looking up into Kuja’s eyes.
For the first time, he noticed a little warmth. Kuja left the room.
“Go follow her, Z’as-hil,” Ad’vey sighed.
“Do you really think I should, or should
I give her some space?”
“Does your stomach feel ok?” Lo’kesh
questioned. Z’as-hil nodded. “Then go after her.”
“What are they saying?” Jasmine whispered
to Su’ram. She was used to Kuja translating for her without asking.
“Shut up,” Su’ram chuckled as he turned
to look down at her. “Just listen and you will understand someday. I am not
translating for you.” Jasmine looked up at him and frowned. He laughed at her
angry look.
When Z’as-hil left the room, Shra’van and
Lo’kesh started to laugh. “That was cruel,” Ad’vey grunted. “You know Kuja is
going to kick his ass again.” He turned to look at Jasmine. “Your eyes are
almost identical to Ka’vita’s, Ta’noj’s first mate.”
“So I’ve heard,” Jasmine sighed. Ta’noj
walked over to her and gently nudged her neck with his mandibles. Jasmine
closed her eyes for a moment and sighed.
“Wow, she goes into heat easily,” Su’ram
growled.
“It is the baby,” Ta’noj explained as he
stared at her. He stroked her cheek with his thumb and noticed how her
breathing deepened. “The pregnancy is making her aggressive, and the pain from
the mating has subsided.” He spoke in Yautja so Jasmine wouldn’t be
embarrassed.
For a moment, Jasmine forgot about the
others in the room as she stared into Ta’noj eyes. All she wanted at the moment
was to have him stroking himself inside her at a slow and teasing pace. She
gasped when Mordecai stepped closer to her and inhaled deeply.
"Do you want me to prepare
her?" he groaned.
“Are you even mating yet?” Ta’noj teased
as he looked over at him.
“Do not bother,” Ku’mar said in English,
so Jasmine would understand. “She can prepare herself.”
She looked up at Ta’noj in shock. “Oh
God, you’re talking about me?” Ta’noj rubbed her back softly as he stared at
Ku’mar.
“So we all agree,” Shra’van walked
towards Ku’mar and shook his shoulder. “It was a horrible accident. And if any
of your siblings try to retaliate, I will hold you personally responsible.
Ta’noj will be judged on the planet.”
Ku’mar nodded begrudgingly before walking
out with his brothers. As he slowly passed by, Ta’noj lunged forward and struck
Ku'mar in the jaw. Su’ram pulled Jasmine behind him as he stood next to Ta’noj.
They all stared at each other, waiting for someone to make the next move.
“Get out of my control room,” Mi’tra
growled as she continued to work on the panels with Lo’kesh.
Shra’van sighed when they left before
turning around to look at Jasmine. The only other full blooded human he had spoken with since
his mother’s death, was Alexa. “You will stay on my ship, Ta’noj. Jasmine will
feel more comfortable with Alexa.”
“Who is…” Jasmine started, but Ta’noj
held up his hand.
“I will explain later.”
“We need to leave this quadrant now,”
Lo’kesh snapped as he looked over the panels. “Several ships are headed this
way. I do not know if we can fight them off. The upgrades were not done to
these ships.”
“Mi’tra, pilot Z’as-hil’s ship just in
case we are attacked,” Shra’van ordered. “He is of no use to us at the moment.
I will stay here.” He looked over at his brothers, and they nodded before
leaving. “Lo’kesh, please stay.”
“Only if she stops staring at me,” he
growled. He walked over to Jasmine, and she gasped as she looked up at him. He
bent down to eye level and stared back at her. He knew a little of the human
language since his whole family spoke it. He could understand Jasmine better
when she didn’t talk so fast. She jumped when he spoke in a deep, raspy tone in
her language, “Stop staring!”
“She is probably staring because of your
size,” Ta’noj chuckled in Yautja.
“Sorry,” she looked at Ta’noj, “But he is
huge. Will you be that big someday?”
“If I am lucky,” he sighed. “Let us go to
our quarters so you can ask me your questions, before I take you.” Jasmine
blushed and looked away.
Lo’kesh watched them leave and turned to
look at Shra’van. “No matter his fate, on the home planet or otherwise, he will
survive for her.”
Shra’van nodded. “I know.”
(Sh’lok’s Ship)
Sh’lok laid in between Stef’na and
Lee’na. He sighed as he thought of his sons. “Do not worry Sh’lok,” Lee’na
purred. “They will be alright.” He turned to look at her and without asking
Lee’na straddled his body. He groaned as he felt on her hips.
“You know how to occupy my mind do you
not?” he teased softly.
“I am in heat and have been prepared for
you,” she groaned in his ear as she felt his hardness rub against her stomach.
Sh’lok could not deny Lee’na. Though his mind
was occupied with thoughts of Kayla, he tried to focus on the mates that he had
now. Since Shra’van started his investigation he couldn’t help but to think of
Kayla everyday. His son’s questions opened up memories for him, both good and
bad. As Lee’na gently pushed him inside Sh’lok thought back to when he was able
to please all three of his mates. It was a rare occasion when they decided to
go into heat at once. The first time it happened he didn’t know what to do…
(Flashback)
When Sh’lok walked into his quarters, it
was unusually quiet. He was used to breaking up an argument between Stef’na’s
pups and his own. He wished for the day when they would actually get along. He
figured they all had to be asleep and walked into his room. He groaned as he looked
at his mates sitting in bed talking.
“Stef’na you need to put a hand on
Ku’mar,” Kayla laughed. “That boy is identical to Kul’vir.”
“I know,” she sighed. “But at least they
did not fight with Ta’noj today.”
“No, your boys happen to pick on mine,”
Lee’na trilled. They all looked up at Sh’lok. He instantly smelled their
scents. He growled when he noticed all three were in heat. “Stef’na and I have
been prepared,” Lee’na said, answering his look.
“I need to shower,” he stammered.
“Can you prepare me while you shower?”
Kayla asked softly. She gave him a smile that he could never say no to. He
nodded and walked towards the bathroom. Kayla stared into his eyes as she
removed his cloth. Sh’lok touched the side of her face, softly tracing her
markings before entering the shower.
“You do not need to be prepared, Kayla,”
he groaned softly as she reached up to massage his back. He reached behind him
self and smiled as he felt the moistness in between her legs from his soft
touch.
“I just wanted to make sure you were ok,”
she pushed his body so he would turn around. Sh’lok looked down at her. “You
have never had the three of us together. And it’s been ages since you mated
with me...”
“Kayla,” he sighed. “You said you
understood.”
“If you like, I can pretend…”
“Never pretend with me,” he growled at
her. “I can satisfy you all.” Kayla gave him a worried look. “Do you doubt me
Kayla?”
“Sh’lok, I know the stress you have been
under,” she looked away. “And you and I have not been on the best terms…”
“You will not allow me to follow
Shra’van,” he growled angrily at her. “He is leader on a ship Kayla…”
“We will not discuss this now,” She bit
his hand gently and he groaned in pleasure. He watched Kayla close her eyes and
inhale his scent before taking him in her hands. Sh’lok pushed her against the
shower wall and bit down on her neck gently.
He could feel her getting weak and lifted
her body up, carrying her into the room. Kayla laid next to Lee’na. He tilted
his head to the side when he noticed Lee’na touch Kayla’s erect nipples. A soft
sigh escaped Kayla’s mouth as she stared at Sh’lok. He stared at them as he
walked to the edge of the bed.
“Who prepared you, Stef’na?”
“Sa’dar,” she nodded looking at him as he
crawled towards her. She opened her legs for him and he groaned softly licking
her nipples. He looked over at Lee’na who was now enjoying the sensation of
Kayla touching her breasts. Sh’lok remembered long ago when Kayla helped Lee’na
enjoy the drums for the first time. Since then, they had been very close, but
he never knew them to please each other. He groaned loudly and pushed himself
inside Stef’na when Lee’na gently licked Kayla's nipples.
“Who prepared you Lee’na?” Sh’lok huffed
as he stroked himself in and out of Stef’na.
“Kayla,” she gasped softly. Sh’lok knew
he had been busy lately, but not to the point where his mates were forced to
please each other.
“Do not be upset Sh’lok,” Kayla smiled.
He shook his head no before looking down at Stef’na, who let out a soft scream.
He held her hips as he looked back over at Kayla and Lee’na. He had to wonder
to himself if they planned this all along. He had never seen two females
prepare each other and it caused him to slam his body against Stef’na’s with increasing
force.
Sh’lok shook with pleasure when Kayla
bent down to nip softly on Lee’na’s breasts. Kayla slowly positioned herself in
between Lee’na’s legs and pressed her body down against her as they nipped on
each others shoulders. Sh’lok roared as Lee’na and Kayla’s scents grew
stronger. He felt Stef’na climax as he released himself inside her. Sh’lok
watched in amazement and continued to thrust himself in and out of Stef’na as
Kayla and Lee’na simultaneously pushed two fingers into each others body. He could
hear Lee’na moan louder and see Kayla body shake softly to the rhythm of
Lee’na’s thick fingers. Kayla arched her back as Lee’na ran her claws down her
spine and rested her hand on Kayla’s behind. She removed her fingers from
inside Kayla and repeated the movement. She gave Kayla’s backside a gentle
squeeze before spreading her cheeks open and looking over at Sh’lok.
“She is ready for you my mate. Fill her
with your seed,” Lee’na spoke in a raspy tone. Sh’lok wasted no time as he
positioned himself behind Kayla. With A loud growl he pushed himself deep
inside her. Kayla screamed and shook as Lee’na held her open for Sh’lok. He
leaned his head back only to be greeted by Stef’na’s warm body on his back. She
locked her mandible with his and caressed his cheek as he increased the speed
on Kayla.
He looked back down to see Lee’na letting
out a soft scream as Kayla's fingers went deeper into her body. The scene being
played our before him and the heavy female musk was too much for Sh’lok and he
started to flood Kayla’s insides with his seed. He slowly pulled out of her and
felt Kaylas warm hands stroking him. It wasn’t long until she was guiding him
inside Lee’na. He leaned softly on Kaylas back as he fucked Lee’na harder than
he ever had. She screamed to the top of her lungs as Sh’lok grunted and watched
Kayla bite down gently on Lee’na’s nipples. He lasted longer than he did when
he was inside Kayla and Stef’na and when he came he was sure he woke up the
ship.
He fell back into the bed, completely
exhausted. He looked over at Stef’na, and she smiled at him before going to
sleep. He looked over at Lee’na and Kayla and shook his head as Lee’na held
Kayla’s waist from behind. He forgot how much Kayla loved to spoon and snuggle.
Kayla opened her eyes and gave him a sheepish grin. He grunted before feeling
her face as he thought about mating with her again. He never before slid in and
out of Kayla so easily. He cocked his head to the side as he thought again how
wet she was. Her passage had never been so easy for him in the past…
“Sh’lok!” Lee’na barked. He looked at her
and sighed. She huffed, noticing his erection going away.
“Lee’na,” he purred softly.
“Do not speak to me,” she turned her back
to him, a very bad habit she picked up from Kayla long ago. Sh’lok sighed as he
got up and went into the observation room. He tightened his cloth around his
waist and looked out of the window. He thought about that day before the
meeting with his counsel…
“So they finally got you, boy,” Maha’vin
teased. Sh’lok knew he looked tired the next day. Actually, he felt drained.
“All three were in heat?”
Sh’lok nodded as Sa’dar and Ba’naj walked
into the room. “It was exhausting.”
“What, the great Sh’lok could not handle
his mates,” Sa’dar teased. Sh’lok told them how Kayla and Lee’na pleased each
other. Maha’vin looked shocked.
Sh’lok looked at Ba’naj. “Do the females
normally do that Ba’naj? Being you have three mates…”
“No, they do not,” he snapped as he
stepped closer to Sh’lok. “If you knew how to handle your time and dick, they
would not have to fuck around.” Ba’naj paused for a moment. “With each other,”
he added. He shook his head at Sh’lok. “You do not need three mates.” He looked
at the others. “I cannot stay for the meeting. I have things to do.”
They spent hours talking about upgrading
their weapons. When Sh’lok went back to his quarters, Kayla walked in shortly
after him. “How dare you!” she yelled at him. Kayla pushed him out of the way.
Sh’lok looked confused as he followed her to the room.
“What the hell is wrong now Kayla?” he
snapped at her. “Being elder is getting to you?”
“It got to you a long time ago, Sh’lok.”
He growled angrily at her. Kayla ignored
his warning as she took off her clothes. He noticed the bruise on her back and
neck. “What happened to you?”
“Sparring,” she snapped, “Thank you for
bragging about our sex life to everyone! Learn to keep your fucking mouth
shut!” She started walking to the bathroom. Sh’lok roared at her before
snatching her hand and turning her around. He instantly smelled her arousal,
and it was strong. He grabbed her arms and shook her roughly to grab her
attention.
“If you value our relationship, you will
take your ass off that big pedestal you put it on and stop disrespecting me.”
They glared at each other for a moment.
“If you value our relationship, you will
put all of your mates asses on that pedestal before someone else does it for
you,” she growled back before snatching her hand away from his grasp.
“Bitch,” he mumbled under his breath.
Kayla turned to look at him. He noticed something about her eyes. They never
looked at him with so much contempt. The only time he had ever seen that look
was when she was about to spar with someone she didn’t like. Sh’lok suddenly
didn’t know if he should ready himself for a fight. They watched each other for
a moment. He could hear her heart beating wildly, and then the look slowly
faded. Kayla turned around and walked away.
Sh’lok shook his head as the anger from
that day came flooding back. He never understood why he and Kayla started to have
problems, and he never touched her in such a fashion. They never spoke about
that moment again. He knew he kept busy and even for a slight moment he was
jealous of her new status, but he never thought they had problems. Something
crossed his mind as he headed back into his room. Why was Kayla so aroused?
Sa’dar watched his brother practice. Like
many nights throughout the years, Ba’naj would practice alone and fight so
hard, he was too tired to think. “Who are you fighting Brother?”
Ba’naj stopped and looked at him. Sa’dar
crossed his arms across his broad chest and motioned with his head the seat
next to him. Ba’naj grabbed his towel and sat next to Sa’dar. Neither said a
word for almost an hour. Sa’dar started to speak without looking at him. “You
and I have always been close. Even when you told Father you were joining the
Jac’Skul De Legion clan instead of the one we were destined for. I even
followed you.”
“Our siblings thought we lost our minds,”
Ba’naj chuckled.
“That they did,” Sa’dar sighed. He looked
over at his distraught brother. “I know you well Ba’naj. I know you had deep
feelings for Kayla, feelings that a Yautja should not feel, especially for
another males mate. Whoever you are going to fight I wish to help.”
“This is not your fight my brother,”
Ba’naj shook his shoulder softly.
“Is this great battle with Sh’lok or
