Disclaimer - I don�t own the idea of the predator or aliens they are fox�s I just think they are cool in their own ways, especially the predators. I also do not own the Aliens Versus Predator2 game mentioned in this chapter. I am not making any money from this story; I just hope people enjoy it. I have made up the names in this story and if they are similar to any others I apologise.
Kelly walks up to door, and it opens. Mrs Smith, an attractive brown haired female looks at Kelly.
�Kelly you�re early� Mrs Smith grabs the girl in an embrace, �Are you OK?�, Kelly simply nods, �Have they returned�. Kelly shakes her head.
Mrs Smith brings Kelly forward out of the embrace to look at her, �I think you just need to relax�. Mrs Smith hugs Kelly once more.
�Kelly, Kelly�, a small blonde girl runs in. Kelly bends down and they hug.
An attractive blonde haired male walks in straight after. �Ah Kelly you�ve arrived early, we might leave now if that is ok�.
�Sure� smiles Kelly. Kelly felt totally exhausted.
Dr Smith points to the counter, �The number of the conference center is on the note pad, there�s some money for food and something for the band�.
Kelly looked at Dr Smith puzzled and they all walked to the counter. Dr Smith continued, �The hospital board was so impressed by the show the band put on for the young kids that they wanted to pay you.�
�Thank you, we are all grateful, but just seeing the kids happy was payment enough�, replied Kelly
Dr Smith bent down and gave Kelly a kiss on the forehead.
Kelly couldn�t remember a great deal about her Mother and Father, but the things she could Dr and Mrs Smith reminded her of them.
�Hannah�, the young girl looks up at her mother, �Please be good, Kelly needs to relax a bit�.
�OK Mummy�, said the little girl grabbing Kellys hand.
Dr Smith approaches Kelly and rubs her cheek, �Would you like something to help you to relax.�
�No thank you Dr Smith, I�ll be fine.� Smiled Kelly.
Dr Smith takes his ex-wife�s hand and they make their way to the car. Dr Smith turns to face the two girls, �Remember Kelly if there are any problems or you are not well ring us at the conference center, it isn�t that important that we couldn�t leave if needed.�
�I will Dr Smith, thank you� smiled Kelly.
The couple drive off. �I am worried about Kelly, she isn�t herself, you don�t think that Jim has done anything do you?�
Dr Smith looks at the beautiful woman next to him, �If he has I�ll personally kill him myself�
Hannah grabs Kelly�s hand, �Daddy got a new computer game, come look�
Hannah dragged Kelly into her fathers study. Kelly picked up the box Aliens Versus Predator2 Rated M
�UM I don�t think you should be playing this it�s not for little girls�.
But it was too late. It was already playing. And there Kelly saw in all their glory a hard meat and one of her friends. If only they really knew, may be they do, may be this is their way to have people think nothing goes on
Kelly took Hannah by the hand, and let her out to the kitchen �Come on lets order tea, What would you like?�
�MMMM Pizza, mummy said I could have some just for tonight if it was what you wanted too.�
�OK�, Kelly pushed the numbers to order the Pizza. Kelly hangs up the phone.
Kelly walks into the lounge room where Hannah is patting her pet cat. �Should be here in 30 minutes�.
�Yippee�
In the bush land
The Drietans landed their ship in a bush area not far from the city. It didn�t take them long to find candidates for both mating and food.
Ty�clen landed his ship not far away. He had to hand it to the Drietans; they knew how to pick a hiding spot. The bush lands provided great cover. Ty�clen cloaked the ship and followed the Drietans.
He kept in close contact but still kept his distance. He would continue this until Ki�taka contacted him with Kelly�s possible location.
Ty�clen heard screams. He leant forward in a tree he had landed in. A Drietan had cornered a young couple. Three other Drietans moved in to surround them. The male tried to run but a Drietan pounced on him and bashed him within inches of his life.
Ty�clen scanned the female for the mark Ki�taka had told him about.
It was the mark of the Ti�karani clan made in special ink, only the yautja could see. Ki�taka said he placed it on her shoulder. Ty�clen sighed in relief when he couldn�t find it.
All of a sudden through the bushes the leader, Dark One as he had called himself, approached the frightened female. The girl backed herself into a tree. Part of Ty�clen told him to do something, the other to stay put, so he stayed.
The Drietan leader smiled at the female, his natural teeth safely hidden, a mistake the others had made making all frightened that they approached. He lowered himself and breathed in her luscious scent.
�HMMM a virgin� he hissed �Makes it the more sweeter.� The female fainted into the arms of the leader.
The leader motioned to two of his men, �Take her on board, place her in my quarters, she shall be my first when we depart this planet�.
�What of the male�, hissed a smaller male.
�Put him in the holding pen, I shall need to feed before I mate with his female�. The leader turned to leave but turned around to face his men.
�Oh and make sure you look as much like these creatures as possible, our natural appearance causes too much fear�.
�Yes leader�, hissed the Drietans
Ty�clen had the ship to constant scans the city sending him messages should it find anything of interest, he heard. �Kelly, How did you get this bracelet?�, That had to be her, but as the girl continued something broke the signal and the ship couldn�t give him the location, only one thing could do that and that was Yautja technology, Ty�clen hopped it was his brother or Jai�tien, he had not heard that any clans were hunting here.
Hannah and Kelly waited patiently for the pizza to arrive. Kelly was slowly falling to sleep on the lounge, while Hannah was looking at Kelly�s bracelet
�Kelly how did you get that bracelet?� repeated the little girl.
Kelly looked down at the beautiful bracelet. Kelly always wore it. It consisted of beautiful blue jewels and polished hard meat bone.
�It was a present from a special friend.�
�Where do they live?�
Kelly sighed �A long way away�
�Are you going to see them again?�
Kelly glanced out of the window up to the now crystal clear star filled sky, �I hope so Hannah�
Sirens could be heard screaming through the streets of the city
�What are all the sirens Kelly?�
�I don�t know, but they sound close, stay here and I�ll check the doors and windows.
Kelly ran around the massive house checking all the doors and windows. She had just finished the last one when the door bell chimed, and a message on the intercom, �Pizza delivery for Tomms�
Kelly clicked a button and an image came on the screen it was the Pizza delivery guy. Kelly grabbed the required money and headed for the door. �Hannah stay there won�t you�, the little girl nods.
Moments later Kelly walks in with the pizza. �Lets eat�
Kelly and Hannah sit down in the family room and begin eating their pizza. Kelly flicks on the T.V., the news was on.
Police are being kept busy tonight with reports of abductions, thirteen so far have seen reported. Wait news just coming in, make that twenty. Police are baffled as they have no eye witness accounts.�
�Kelly I�m thirsty, can I have a drink please.�
�OK�, Kelly stands and walks into the kitchen, she stops, �Do you want me to turn the TV off�, Hannah nods.
Kelly turns the TV off and gets the young girl a drink.
�Kelly aren�t you going to eat some more pizza�.
�I�m not really hungry, I�ve got an apple�.
Kelly returns with the drink. �OK, but Mummy says you need to eat more�.
�Does she now�, smiles Kelly handing the little girl her drink.
�Yep�, says the girl slurping her drink as Kelly crunches into the juicy apple.
Approaching the moon
The Seeker approached the moon of the back-water planet, a little earlier that first thought. It slowly came to a halt. Deep scans found the Drietan ship and the cloaked Yautja ship.
Life forms could be seen struggling in the Drietan ship. In all thrity, sixteen male and fourteen female.
Ki�taka stared at the image, he closed his eyes, �You are still safe for now Kelly�
�Elder, we are ready�.
Ki�taka spun around to see twelve warriors and two specialist hunters. He bowed his head at the awaiting Yautja. �We must wait and see what happens, as much as I want to have this resolved I do not want to cause suspicion, we still have to return for rituals�.
�As you wish Elder�, the well armed Yautja bowed their heads at their elder and spun around then went to the docking bay to await instructions.
Each of the Yautja were in full battle gear. Armour covering the majority of their bodies, armed to the hilt with various weapons, although all wore plasma cater, wrist blades and self destruct devices as standard other weapons were personal choice.
Ki�taka approached an honored guard, �Have you any idea where my father is. It is important�.
�No Elder, but he did receive a message from High Elder Jai�tien this morning.�
�Has he left the ship�, asked Ki�taka puzzled
The honored guard presses a button, �No Elder his signal is still registering�.
Why can�t I sense him, the sneaky old lizard �Where is his signal�
�The garden compound, Elder, shielded area there�.
�Send the nearest guard there at once tell him it involves the little one, he will know it�s meaning.�
�It will be done Elder�; the guard turns to signal the nearest guard.
�Let me know when High Elder Jai�tiens ship arrives�, the guard nods.
A guard approached the Garden Compound
�Elder Aach�ni, a message from Elder Ki�taka�.
There was no response. The door had been locked from the inside with a special code. Aach�ni often did this if he wanted a private moment on his own or with company.
�A message from Elder Ki�taka it involves the little one.� The guard had no sooner finished his sentence when the door quickly slid open.
�What has happened?�, growled Aach�ni pressing his massive body and the guards slightly smaller one against the wall
�We are in orbit near the moon of the back-water planet. Warrior Ty�clen went to the place you said, but Kel,� the guard corrected himself. �the little one was not there. Is there a special place she might have gone?�
Aach�ni slowly released the guard. �No, I do not know, no one has been back there in 6 months, wait try the city�.
�Already being done, no luck yet.�
�What of the Drietans?�
�They are at the city and have started taking males and females Elder�. The guard bowed his head and went back to his duties.
Aach�ni ran to the navigation deck.
Even though Aach�ni had taken leave of Elder, it was tradition that he continued to be referred to as Elder, for his success of the hunt, knowledge, wisdom and his age made it so. Now that his injuries had healed he could now act as Elder on Ki�takas behalf.
Aach�ni had almost died after the battle of Zentael, body battered and bruised he managed to claw his way back to his shuttle and set it on autopilot, the Seeker had left the planet not being able to find him.
By the time his shuttle had reached the Seeker he had lost well over half is blood volume. This alone should have killed him. It was said a promise made to a certain friend kept him from dying, only old age would break that promise and Aach�ni intended sticking around for a long, long time yet.
Aach�ni reached the navigation room to find Ki�taka standing there arms folded tapping his foot on the ground, as if he were the father and Aach�ni was the small boy in trouble for being late home.
�You have been spending a lot of time in there of late, what are you doing?
Aach�ni did not answer and Ki�taka didn�t pry.
�What is happening?� enquired Aach�ni.
Ki�taka approached the screen and pressed buttons for a live feed, �The Drietans have captured thirty humans.�
A nearby alarm sounds and a guard adds, �Make that Forty Elder.�
Ki�taka turns to his worried father, �None of them are Kelly. Ty�clen has been monitoring them. Have you any idea where Kelly maybe?�
Aach�ni moves towards the screen, �Kelly does have a boyfriend that lives in the city,� he could see Ki�takas eyes become slits, they had both seen what young human males where capable of, they were no better than young bloods.
Aach�ni looks in to Ki�takas eyes, �His mother is the nurse Petra that helped us get you out. Try contacting her.�
�Can you do that, I know you and Jai�tien have been keeping contact with them over the years, besides how do I, I have no contact device, we haven�t got the time for this.�
Aach�ni looks at his son and then looks towards the planet. �We should be close enough�.
�Father close enough for what.�
Aach�ni walks over towards the Elders seat. He reaches into a hidden compartment in the seat and pulls out of all things a mobile phone.
�What�, he says his son staring at him with his mandibles spread wide.
Aach�ni turns on the phone and presses the number one, he then reaches over to the speaker button on the chair and presses it.
At a coffee shop in the city
Two colleagues had gone for their Friday night treat, Night Shift Friday coffee and cake.
�Petra your phone is ringing�
�Thanks�, Petra placed the tray of coffees and cake down, she picks up her phone and looks at the ID panel. It read BIG A.
�Hello�
�Petra, How are you?�
�Good, Have you come for Kelly?�
�Yes, do you know where she is?�
�Yes, she�s looking after one of the doctors daughters at his house, you sound anxious, is something wrong?�
�Yes, we need to find her quick. Then we can eliminate the threat�.
Petra looks around to see if anyone is listening, �Does it have something to do with the abductions tonight?�
�Yes it does, if you see any pale men let me know, you know how to contact me�
Petra gives Aach�ni the address in their special code, Aach�ni translates the address and a technician sends the message directly to Ty�clen.
�I�m relieved and disappointed you are here.�
�Why Petra.�
�Kelly is worried and missing her grand father terribly, Mark has been snooping around. He killed her sister a few days ago as a message to her. I don�t know how long its been since she has slept or eaten properly, it seems part of her strength has gone.�
�That is the bad, what is the good�
�The band are finally getting somewhere, they are heading for a week away. How is your son?�
�He is good, anxious to see Kelly.�
�Tell him for me he is going to be very surprised when he sees her.�
�Thank you Petra and Good bye.�
�Good bye�
Aach�ni smiles as he turns the phone off. Ki�taka and the technician stare at the aging Yautja.
�What�, he growls as he puts the phone back into the compartment.
�You never cease to surprise me father.�
�Thanks, no use in being predictable is there.� Aach�ni gave his son a cheeky wink and walked out of the navigation room.
He approached a nearby guard. �Will you have High Elder Jai�tiens quarters prepared. He shall arrive any time now.�
�Yes Elder.�
On most Yautja ships special quarters where always prepared for visiting Yautja of high status and the Seeker was no exception.
The quarters where situated on the same level as Aach�ni and his sons, with the exception of L�traik, as he was a young blood he would not reside back on that level until after his manhood ritual.
The level spanned the entire length of the ship. All quarters included, a large sleeping/sitting area, a large bath, shower, a slightly smaller bedroom, trophy area, a private training room, and small food preparation area. A formal dining area and larger training room where also found on the same level.
An even larger Dining area could be found two levels down where all Yautja would assemble for meals, ceremonies and entertainment
Aach�ni returned to the garden compound to find Kien�ata inside.
She turns swiftly dreads swinging, Aach�ni loved that. �This is beautiful Aach�ni�.
�Yes, it is, it is a private place for Kelly to go. It has a special code it can only be unlocked by her or myself and once inside only Kelly can order it be unlocked, unless she is incapacitated.�
Kien�ata looks around at all the plants and small animals
Aach�ni adds, �All her favorite thing are in here, even though she is relatively strong, I�d say this may all get a little overwhelming for her at times.�
Kien�ata looks at Aach�ni, �It overwhelms me at times.�
The two yautja move closer to each other and sit on a seat, Kien�ata takes Aach�nis hand, �Do you think, she will want to stay?�
Aach�ni looks into the eyes of his eldest sons mate, �I don�t know, I hope so. This is the longest we have been out of contact with the family�
Aach�ni stares at a passing butterfly. �I hope she has not thought we have forgotten about her. I did leave her a note when we found Joseph but I could not give her a time incase her Uncle found it.�
Aach�ni moves closer to Kien�ata , �Ki�taka must never know I was there at that time, as far as he knows Jai�tien was the only one.�
�Aach�ni, you know your secret is safe with me.�
Kien�ata looks at a hopping rabbit, �You feel responsible somehow don�t you.�
Aach�ni nods �In a way I guess. Jai�tien, I and several others have broken codes, we have in a way exposed ourselves and sparked interest in out kind, I imagine our unofficial human mates and Kelly have been monitored for sometime. I have told Ty�clen to be extremely careful especially around Petra and Kelly in case.�
�I think you have done well with this room Aach�ni, you have been preparing it for some time haven�t you.�
Aach�ni nods and looks around at his handiwork. �Ki�taka and I started it when I brought him back, every visit I brought something more back. A little piece of the back-water planet for Kelly, a home away from home�.
Kien�ata runs her mandibles across Aach�nis forehead and he purrs, �I shall leave you to it.�
Aach�ni rises and bows his head to Kien�ata, �I am glad Ki�taka chose you�.
Kien�ata gives Aach�ni a cheeky wink as she walked out the door. He watches the female leave. He sits back down and picks up a rabbit and starts petting it. So soft
Out of all his sons and their mates Aach�ni got on with Kien�ata the best, although he loved them all like they were his own daughters. He could tell Kien�ata his deepest, darkest secrets and know they would stay between to two of them.
