Chapter 9
Clarice's first instinct was that someone was here in her
house.She'd woke up smelling something, some kind of cologne. It
seemed so familer.Her eyes widen, she knew that smell only one person in the
world she knew wore that cologne. Hannibal.Oh my god, she thought. He's back in America. What for?
No matter what, she had to find out why.
She got up, put her robe on and noticed a car pulling out of
her driveway.Clarice got a glimpse of the driver and her heart stopped on
seeing who it was.She got the make of the car, quickly got dressed then left to
follow him.She spotted his car at a mall not far from her house, but
didn't see where he went too.So she went to wait by his car, wondering what she was gonna
say to him after a year apart.Clarice didn't see the man coming from behind her, with a cloth
filled with chloroform.She tried to struggle but the cloth became tighter. The last
thing Clarice saw was Hannibal looking at her.Andrew dragged Clarice to his car, dumping her in the back then
driving off.Before dragging her, he slashed the tires of Hannibal's car.
But what Andrew didn't know was that Clarice had dropped her
keys, knowing that Hannibal would know where her car is and come and
get her.Hannibal ran to his car to discover his tires slashed but found
a pair of keys next to the tire.He got into Clarice's Musting and started to follow them.
He knew Clarice had been taken by The No Trace Killer but he
swore to god that Clarice would not be his next victim.For Hannibal, the next victim would be the killer himself
