When she woke up Kul’vir was lying next to her
watching her sleep. “You sleep for a very long time Kayla.”
“Our bodies are different,” she reminded him.
“I went back to my quarters, took a shower and came
back. You were still asleep. It’s time for us to go practice.” Kayla gave him a
weary look.
“You really think others will be angry?”
“Only those who dislike Uncle.”
“Can we go see him instead?” Kayla blurted as they
reach the doors to the hall.
“After practice.” When they went in it wasn’t as bad as Kayla thought.
Some of the older Yautja’s didn’t greet her like they normally did but it
didn’t bother her. After practice she didn’t bother to eat. She went directly
to Maha'vin.
“How is he?” She asked Pahel.
“Still unconscious,” he said dryly. “I am good at what
I do. He will make it.” He pulled up a chair for her so she could sit next to
Maha'vin. “I put him in this room alone with the guards up front since he is in
a vulnerable state.”
Kayla went in everyday to sit next to him. Everyday
for hours she would sit and hold his hand and wait for him to open his eyes,
but he never did. She didn’t realize how much she really missed those cat eyes
of his until now. A few times she fell asleep, leaning her head on Maha’vin’s
stomach and listening to the soft purr it would emit. Sometimes Pahel would
tell her to leave or he would just leave her alone.
“I think the younger warriors are starting to slack
off because you’re not there to yell at them,” Kayla smiled as she held
Maha'vin’s hand. She would sit and talk to him every day. He only squeezed her
hand once but she felt like talking would help. “They miss you Maha'vin. As do I.” She laid her head on his stomach again. She felt
herself dozing off to the vibrations of his stomach then she heard him.
“My Kayla,” he whispered. She quickly looked up at
him. His eyes were still closed. Then he repeated himself.
“Maha'vin open your eyes,”
she begged. “Please look at me.” He squeezed her hand before opening his eyes and
clicking his mandibles softly.
Kayla thought she would never see those eyes again.
“Is he awake?” Pahel questioned. “His body temperature
is rising.” He walked over to see Maha'vin staring at Kayla. “Leave the room so
I can check him.”
Maha'vin brushed her cheek before closing his eyes.
“My Kayla,” he whispered again. Pahel looked at him then Kayla.
“If I say no will you attempt to kill me,” She
questioned not taking her eyes off of him.
“No, I’m obligated to save people not kill them,” he
reminded her as he was searching through a drawer for something. “But I will
instruct the guards to wound you if you wish to stay in my medical lab.” Kayla
smiled and left. She started to jog to Kul’vir room to tell him the good news.
Suddenly as she ran around the corner the chest of a large male stopped her,
making her fall backwards and hard onto the floor. The two men started to laugh
at her.
“And this is the great ooman warrior you wish for us
to meet?” On of them questioned as they stared down at her. He reached out his
hand to help her up. He held her hand as Kul’vir walked around them and looked
at Kayla.
“I did not say she wasn’t clumsy from time to time,”
Kul’vir joked. “Kayla these are my brothers. They just returned today. This is
Ne’el.”
“And I am Ga’gan,” The one who held her hand spoke
softly. He rubbed the top of her hand with his thumb softly sending a chill up
her arm.
“Let her hand go,” Ne’el chuckled. “You are making her
break out into hives.”
“I’m so sorry,” Ga’gan looked at her arm and quickly
let go. “Maybe we should take you to the medical lab.
“No, no, I’m fine,” Kayla smiled. She rubbed her arm
softly. They both had on full body armor. Ga’gan eyes were just as soft and
warm as Maha'vin’s when he wasn’t angry with her. He was just as tall and masculine
but his dreads were a little shorter. He tilted his head to the side as he
stared back at her. He reached to touch her face and neck as he purred softly.
“It would be a pleasure if you would accompany me to dinner tonight with my
family.” Kul’vir gave his brother a warning growl.
“If she wishes to go she will accompany us Ga’gan.”
“Me, us. You know what I mean brother.” He didn’t take his
eyes off of her. He never seen a female human dressed in their warrior attire
and it turned him on.
“Kayla we are having a family dinner tonight and
Mother would like you to attend as well.”
Ga’gan flexed his muscles slightly causing Kayla to
blush.
“You are right Kul’vir, she does go into heat easily,”
Ga’gan teased.
“So do you,” Kul’vir mumbled.
She finally managed to say something. “Yes I would
like that very much.” She looked away and at Kul’vir whom was standing with his
arms folded. “I was looking for you. Your uncle is awake.” She looked at Ga’gan
again then turned away. “I’ll be in my quarters.”
“Do you need someone to walk you?” Ga’gan volunteered.
She smiled and shook her head no and walked off.
“If Uncle saw you he wouldn’t be too pleased,” Kul’vir
warned.
“I will pursue whomever I want,” Ga’gan growled. “You
could smell her. Who couldn’t resist? Besides, when Uncle finds
out three young bloods and an ooman rescued him someone will need to protect
her.”
Kul’vir showed his brothers the new sections of the
ship. They enlarged the sparring rooms and the living quarters were expanded.
“So Kayla stays on the male side with the training
warriors?” Ga’gan questioned again. For hours all he did was asked Kul’vir
about Kayla. He grew annoyed with the questions.
“Enough with asking questions about the ooman,” Ne’el
growled. “Ga’gan just chose a suitable female tonight and mate
tomorrow. There are plenty of nice females available.”
“I’m in no rush brother,” He sighed. “She just seems
interesting.”
“It’s almost time for
dinner,” Kul’vir reminded both of them. “Come with me to check on Uncle before
we go.”
“You lie,” Maha’vin barked at Yo’jit. “Now tell the
truth. How did I get back here?”
Yo’jit told him again as he watched Maha'vin get up.
“Kayla, Kul’vur, Ak’hil and
Sh’lok stole your ship and went to the plant to save
you. When they returned Kayla bragged about how she saved you and how weak you
were. She thinks if she didn’t come to your rescue you would be dead by now.
She feels like you are in debt to her now.”
Yo’jit could see the anger on Maha'vin face as he
roared with anger. Yo’jit thought of his plan before he went to visit Maha'vin.
Yo’jit would make him so angry that he would go to Kayla’s room to break her
neck. Right before he attempts to kill Kayla he could kill Maha’vin. Kayla
would take him as her mate and look like a hero to everyone else.
Maha'vin took off to Kayla’s room. He got on all fours
and ran as fast as the cat she killed. Yo’jit was having a hard time keeping up
with him. He could only imagine how fast Maha'vin was if he were fully
recovered.
“Pahel,” Kul’vir walked up to the busy doctor.
“Where’s Uncle?”
“In his room,” Pahel looked over his shoulder and
noticed Maha'vin’s bed was empty. “He was just talking to Yo’jit. Whatever it
was he was very disturbed by it. I think he told him how he was rescued.”
“Kayla,” Kul’vir said before running out with his
brothers.
Kayla smiled at herself in the mirror as she looked at
the silk material flowing around her body. It was nicely wrapped around her
like a sari except it wasn’t anything underneath. It almost felt as if she was
nude. She sighed when Kul’vir continuously buzzed her door.
“Maha'vin,” Kayla was shocked. He looked like he was
about to kill her. She didn’t expect what came next. Maha’vin pushed her so
hard her body came in contact with the wall and she slid down slowly as she
tried to register what was going on.
“How could you Kayla!” He roared as he picked her up
by the neck. He held her against the wall with his hand tightly around her
neck. Kayla could barely breathe. She saw Yo’jit walk in and stand behind
Maha’vin. He pulled out his dagger and was about to attack Maha’vin. Kayla
wanted to scream but she was to busy trying to remove the hand on her neck. The
more she struggled the tighter it got. “I owe you nothing,” Maha'vin roared at
her. “How dare you call me weak, you ooman!” He
crushed her neck tighter. “I should kill you for insulting me!”
Yo’jit held up his dagger and walked up behind
Maha'vin. Ga’gan charged at Maha'vin forcing him to release her neck. Kayla
fell back down on the floor. At the same time Kul’vir and Ne’el charged at
Yo’jit. Kayla was still trying to catch her breath. She couldn’t make sense of
what was going on. She looked around the room in a panic.
Seeing that Ne’el had Yo’jit secure enough not to move
Kul’vir rushed over to Kayla. “Can you hear me?” He said moving her head so she
could only focus on him. She shook her head yes and felt on her neck. She was
gasping for air. He placed his hands on her neck so he could look at her
closely. Kayla jumped as if he was trying to strangle her. “It’s ok Kayla,” He
purred. “I will not hurt you.”
“Kul’vir,” she finally said as if she was recognizing
him for the first time. Her tears started to fall. “Maha'vin.” She looked over
at the crazed man who still looked like he wanted to snap her head off.
Ga’gan held him tightly. Kul’vir turned her head back
towards him.
“Are you sure you are all right?”
“She won’t be once I get my hands on her,” Maha’vin
growled. “That goes for you too boy.”
“Don’t threaten my brother,” Ga’gan warned him as he
held Maha'vin tighter.
“Need I extend my threat?” Maha'vin growled back.
“Why hold me here? I was simply protecting Kayla,” Yo’jit
tried to struggle free. It was no use. The two boys he used to train have
become full warriors. Their time away made them wiser and stronger. Maha'vin
noticed the dagger on the floor in front of Yo’jit.
“You were going to kill me?” Maha'vin asked before
roaring in his direction. “How many people do I have to kill when I fully recover! Yo’jit was this all a setup?”
Everyone looked at him as they awaited an answer.
His silence was his guilt. “I was protecting Kayla,”
is all he was able to say. Ga’gan purposely loosened his grip on his Uncle and
watched as Maha’vin charged at Yo’jit. His blow was so powerful against Yo’jit’s jaw that it broke one of Yo’jit’s
mandibles. Maha'vin’s fist was cut deeply as blood poured in front of him.
Still breathing hard, he looked over at Kayla. She stared at him as if he were
a monster. He could sense her strong fear and anger as she griped Kul’vir’s
arm. He knew she could never forgive him. He looked back at Yo’jit. Ne’el was
still holding him.
“When you heal I will slowly kill you,” Maha'vin
snapped. He picked up Yo’jit’s dagger and stuck it
into his leg. He slowly turned it. Yo’jit’s piercing
howl was too much for Kayla’s ears. She covered them quickly. When Maha'vin was
done Ne’el released Yo’jit. They all watched him limp out the room.
No one said anything and they were all afraid to move.
Kul’vir was ready to kill his Uncle for almost killing Kayla. Ga’gan took every
threat seriously and knew his Uncle’s reputation. He didn’t know if Maha'vin’s
temper was better or worse since he returned and he didn’t want to find out. He
kept his hand near his side where his dagger was located. Ne’el looked at both
of his brothers. His loyalty was with them no matter what they decided.
Maha'vin looked at Kayla again. Tears.
He remembered what Shaktik told him. The way they
stained her face made him think she was hurt and upset. She had every right to
be. He just attacked her. He looked at everyone in the room as his anger slowly
subsided. Maha'vin walked closer to Kayla but Ga’gan stepped closer to her and
Kul’vir. Ne’el stood behind Maha'vin. He knew it was best to walk away and he
did.
Kul’vir touched her face and looked at his fingers.
“Are you injured?” He asked softly. “It’s clear liquid near your eyes.” Kayla
wanted to laugh but she was still hurt.
“No I’m fine.”
“I will alert Mother to put guards at your door. You
are not to leave without them or me.” Kul’vir helped her up.
“No need for guards Kul’vir. I will stay with her.”
Ga’gan volunteered.
“She will stay with me tonight until she is reassigned
another living quarter Maha’vin doesn’t know of.”
Kayla shook her head no, “I don’t want to change
rooms. I’ll be ok. I’m not about to hide because your crazy Uncle wants to kill
me.”
“Such a warrior you are,” Ga’gan joked as he reached his
hand out to her. She stood slowly.
“That wasn’t a request,” Kul’vir snapped to get her
attention. “We will go to dinner…”
“I was just slammed against a wall and choked,” Kayla
reminded him. “I’m not hungry.”
“I already told Mother you will be in attendance. If
you do not attend she will know something is wrong. You do not want to sit in
on a meeting to discuss all of this. They last for a day.”
“Kul’vir is right,” Ne’el agreed. “We can settle this
situation ourselves.”
They all heard a high pitch roar in the distance.
Kayla knew it was Maha'vin. “Ok Kul’vir, I will stay with you.” He took her
chin and shook it softly like she did his mandible making her smile.
Ne’el and Kul’vir left. Ga’gan stayed behind to help
Kayla gather her things and take them over to Kul’vir’s quarters. His room was
much larger than hers. His windows were larger as well. “It’s so beautiful,”
Kayla said to herself.
“Gas balls?” Ga’gan questioned as he stood next to her. They were
silent for a moment. “Kul’vir told me of what happened on your planet Kayla. I
too am in your debt for helping my little brother.”
“He is very nice to me,” she looked at him and he was
staring at her body. Ga’gan then looked into her eyes. “Why did Maha'vin attack
me?”
“I do not know. Yo’jit probably told him lies about
the mission. He would only attack if he was being put to shame. He will kill
Yo’jit soon.” Kayla felt a chill go through her body. “I’m sorry I gave you
hives again.”
Kayla laughed, “It’s an ooman condition.” She didn’t
have a clue as to how she would explain ‘goose bumps’. “A
temporary change in my skin caused by my emotions.” She shrugged her
shoulders hoping that was a good definition.
He took her hand in his as he looked at her arm. He
softly felt on the fine bumps. “That’s amazing.” he held her hand, not letting
go.
“Well I guess it’s time to go eat meat and that mushy
stuff,” Kayla sighed. She hadn’t had fruit since she saw Lex.
“You are not pleased with the food?”
“It’s the same every day...”
“Ah a warriors diet,” He chuckled. “Come, let me show
you something. She covered her hair with some of the material on her body and
followed him. He took her to the kitchen. It was just as big, if not bigger
than the room she practiced in everyday. “This is one of five preparation
rooms.” Kayla gasped as she looked around at all the busy Yautja’s.
He put his cloak on her before taking her through
another door. “Keep my cloak on. It will keep your body cool. When he opened
the door it was a bright room filled with trees. Kayla gasped. The only thing
that was missing was grass and birds. This is how we grow our fruit and
vegetables,” He explained. “The temperature is like that of our home world.”
“This is amazing,” Kayla gasped as she looked up at
all the trees. For a moment she forgot about what happened earlier.
Ga’gan picked a shiny blue piece of fruit off the tree
and handed it to her. “This is Seba fruit. Taste it.”
Kayla was hesitant at first. He sighed and took it
from her and bit it. The insides were blue as well. Ga’gan handed it back to
her. Kayla bit a small piece. It melted softly in her mouth like cotton candy.
He laughed when he saw the shocked expression on her face. It was just as good
as the fruit Lex given her. Kayla offered him another
bite before she finished the rest. Instead of taking it from her Ga’gan raised
her hand and bit the fruit as he stared at her.
Kayla could feel some of the juice slide down her arm.
When Ga’gan saw it he stopped the juices from reaching the material of her
dress. He bent down and licked the trail from her arm pit back up to the fruit.
Kayla moaned softly.
“Kul’vir told me I should remind you of your scent if
ever it were strong,” he purred softly. Kayla was so close to his chest she
could almost feel the vibrations.
“Sorry,” she whispered as Ga’gan stepped closer to her
body.
He bent down and sniffed her lips then neck. He went
down stopping for a moment at her breast, purposely allowing his mandibles to
touch her hardening nipples. Ga’gan went to her stomach then to her thighs. He
lingered there for a moment purring softly. Kayla could almost feel the
vibrations of his purr in between her legs.
“May I touch you?” He asked softly. Before she could
answer he was raising her dress. Ga’gan parted her wet lips with his thumb and
purred again. Kayla legs felt weak as she let out a moan.
“Ga’gan I don’t think we should…”
“Do you like it Kayla?” He asked softly looking up at
her. He slipped his finger inside of her.
“Yes,” she finally answered. She leaned on the tree
behind her as he continued to slowly slide his finger in and out of her.
“This is what the other men do to the women on the
ship to prepare them to mate,” he reminded her as his breathing got heavier.
“You are very ready.”
Kayla looked down as she watched him slowly play with
her. When he slipped in another finger she moaned loudly.
“It smells so sweet,” he purred. Kayla leaned her head
back. He removed his fingers. Before she could look down to see what he was
doing she felt his tongue slide into her body.
“Ga’gan, it feels so good,” She managed to gasp. She
felt the room spinning as her orgasm neared.
He purred as his tongue slid in and out of her. She
could swear his tongue felt better than any vibrator she ever used. With his
tongue deeply embedded inside her he slowly moved the tip of his tongue causing
her to shake.
“Don’t stop,” Kayla shook softly as she came.
Ga’gan moaned
as he tasted more of her on his tongue. When her breathing slowed down he
stopped. He growled softly as he came back up. “It is so strong, and sweeter
than fruit. It smells so good Kayla. I never had been attracted to such a
scent.” He placed his hand on her waist and pulled her closer to his body. His
mandibles moved softly as he stared at her.
“Maybe we should go before you attack me,” She said
softly trying to laugh about the situation. Or I attack you, she
thought.
He slowly released her. “Yes you are right,” he
stepped back and looked around. “There is a facility room over their, if you
can scrub your scent off.” He paused for a moment. “I don’t know how you get rid
of it. You should not show up to dinner with it on you. Mother senses are
really sensitive while she is pregnant.” Kayla nodded her head and walked away.
She wondered how she was going to make it through the night if Ga’gan sat next
to her. He reminded her so much of Maha'vin. She pictured Ga’gan to be the
nicer Maha'vin if he actually had a nice side.
“Stop it Kayla,” she mumbled as she used the bathroom.
“Get your own quarters then come back here and ask one of the cooks if they
have anything in the shape of a cucumber.” She sighed. Kayla knew after feeling
Ga’gan, a vibrator, cucumber or anything else other than him would be
meaningless.
After leaving the restroom she walked back towards
Ga’gan. He flexed his muscles and Kayla blushed. “Take a piece with you,” he
purred softly. Kayla wanted to step back but she couldn’t. She felt a familiar
tingle in between her legs.
This is going to be a long night, she thought.
