"I think she's waking up now..."
"She moved!"
"Can she hear us?"
"Shhh... Quiet! She needs rest!"
*with a whimper i slowly open my eyes and hiss at the bright light. i try to sit up*

Large hands gently enveloping her helped her sit, as the light above her dimmed down.
Ratchet, the Autobot medic monitored the girl's lifesigns and behaviour whilst he furled his metal brow in a concerned, fatherly manner.
"Little lady," he spoke, his voice a scalding her slightly in a warm and caring way.
"...you gave us quite a fright."

*i blush dark dipping my head feeling like a scolded child and mumble a timid* s-sorry~

Lifting her head by a finger underneath her chin, Ratchet made her look into his optics.
"I hope you are." the medic continued, giving her a stern look. "You nearly died."
*blushing i lower my eyes and turn my head mumbling* i dddnt mean too.....

A hushed whirring sound approached at floor level, and the small ex-Decepticon drove into the light beside the young woman's berth. The small alien seemed destroyed with worry and regret, his thin shoulders hunching, his head hanging low, and his optics were held downcast.
"I... I'm... so sorry, Miss..." he stammered forth, his voice broken. "I didn't know... how much Barricade meant to you..."
Looking up at Ratchet and Optimus, who stood by her berth, he threw out his small arms in exasperation. "It was me!" he exclaimed in a near choked voice "It's all my fault!"
Raising a metal eyebrow, Optimus bent down to listen to the small being.
"What have you done now, Wheelie?" the leader Autobot inquired.
The little mechanical fellow drove around in a nervous circle, scratching his head with a small servo. "I... kinda... said bad things about her boyfriend..." Wheelie admitted.
"And now she's gone and tried to do herself in!"
Ratchet drew an intake of breath, venting to say something, but the small alien interrupted him. "It's all my fault she's hurt! Please, I'm so sorry!"
*my eyes widen and i shakily push myself to peer over the edge at him* n-no wheelie it wasnt your fault...those words hurt and i-its true that words kill as good as any gun....but i wasnt trying to *blushes* d-do myself in....i....*looks down and sighs. pulls up sleeves showing many selfmade scars* see? ive been doing it since i was about 7.....its....its not your fault....i slipped and....went deeper than normal....*i go quiet*

Silence fell over the Cybertronians gathered around the berth.
Quitting his nervous circling, Wheelie looked up at her, optics void of understanding.
Ratchet turned his head away from the sight, Bumblebee made a soft compassionate noise, barely audible in the vast room, and Optimus nodded in understanding.
"You carry the same need to cleanse yourself with pain, as did my son." Optimus said, his voice filled with pain. "Jeshua did the same."
*i grimace and nod sadly my head dipped. unknowingly baring a scar on the back of my neck down low. a scar carved into my very flesh reading one word in capital letters. FREAK. due to its positioning its obvious i couldnt have done it. bummble bee is the only one who sees it so far due to his angle*
Emitting a soft chitter, moving closer, the scout lay a gentle hand upon the word, obscuring it from the others in a respectful move.
Turning to look her straight in her eyes, he then nodded, touching his chestplates with his other hand, emitting another chirping sound.
*my eyes widen and i stiffen slightly feeling him touch my scar. nodding slightly back i move my colar to conceal it and find myself trembling lightly from the pain of the memory. my hand unconsciously moves to roughly scratch at my wrist id cut just before*
Blinking, Bumblebee took the young woman's hands, impeeding her from scratching the stitched up, cleaned and bandaged wounds. Moving both her hands with his, holding her gently by the wrists, the scout lay her hands upon his face, where his mouth would have been, letting her sense the metal grid that held his damaged voice-processor, while he uttered a silent, gentle noise.
Ratchet still kept his head turned, Wheelie had sat down, hiding in shame underneath the berth, and Optimus stood, listening to what the Camaro said.
When the scout had spoken, he kept the girls hands upon his face some more moments, then, again, touched his processor with his index finger, blinking.
"He wants to tell you-" Optimus began "-that he fully knows what you feel."
Nodding, Bumblebee then pointed to his processor yet again, then down at his chest, where the Autobot insignia glinted, chrome in the dim light of the room.
"He's telling you that words do not mean anything." Optimus explained.
"He cannot speak, yet he is just as valuable to us as if he could."
Nodding, the Camaro reached back with one servo, removing something from one of his doors, extending it towards the seated girl. An Autobot symbol.
"He wants you to have it." The Prime smiled. "Here, we are all equal."
Holding the insignia forth for her to take, Bumblebee ushered out the small Wheelie from underneath the berth. Looking down at him, Optimus lifted him up in one of his massive servos. "Here, it does not matter if one is as large as me, or even smaller than Wheelie." he continued. "We all have different traits, abilities and gifts, and we are all wanted."
Blinking, Wheelie
Letting the small creature down beside the human female, Optimus lay a massive hand on the young human's thin shoulder.
"Among us, my Grand-daughter... there are no freaks."
*i listen quietly and blush faintly at all the attention. listening i smile slightly at bee and hug the side of his face in thanks. hearing optimus last words tho my head snaps quickly to look at him with wide eyes*
"We have learned-" the Autobot leader explained, his voice calm and steady "-that, as Bumblebee so wisely says, words can not harm us, neither written, spoken, or, in Bumblebee's case, un-spoken. There are no deviants among us. Not because we keep anyone who is different out, but because we all are different, together."
*calming slightly i nod and sigh softly smiling slightly in thanks. frowning i notice ratchet still has his back to me and i timidly reach out and touch his servo* r-ratchet? are you ok? *i tilt my head cutely*

Twitching slightly from the unexpected touch, Ratchet turned, his optics dim with withheld emotion.
"I..." the medic voiced hoarsely, trying his best to keep his voice steady enough to speak "- am just very... taken by this..."
Scratching the back of his head with one of his servos, the bright yellow mechanical alien seemed unable to look straight at the young woman, his optics wavering back and forth. "I am just..." he tried again "-very taken by finally meeting Optimu's Great, great, great granddaughter."
*blushes and smiles giving a soft little giggle* well its nice to finally meet ones who dont hate me and view me a freak~
Patting her knee with a small servo, Wheelie smiled up at her.
"A freak? Neeh! If anyone is a freak here, that's me! And don't ya dare steal my title!"
*giggles and smiles at the small mech adorably cocking head and poking tongue out cheekily* hehe~ make me *giggles and smiles showing im joking*
Ratchet, who had turned again, hiding his tears from the human girl, wiped his faceplates free from liquid and cleared his voice.
"All right, all of you!" he demanded the attention, "-the poor girl needs to eat, rest and sleep! She is still weak, and you ought to know better, even you-" he smiled, looking at Optimus "-Sir."
*i jump slightly at his loud voice and squeak. hearing ratchets words to the leader i stiffle a giggle again my cheeks flushed with mirth. i pout* im fine~

Puffing himself up, Ratchet gave her a stern look, a mischievous smile playing at the corners of his mouthplates. "Now, little lady..." he said, wagging a finger at her. "I'm the doctor here."
Interrupting the medic, Bumblebee made a tweeting sound, pointing at a Cybertronian entering the room with what looked like a small dinnerplate when held in it's servo, but as the new alien being came closer and set it down on the table next to the berth, it was obvious it was an enormous tray, laden with fruit, vegetables, savoury meat, fish, drink and sweets. The Cybertronian backed away some yards and waited.
*i blush and groan slightly dropping back onto the berth letting my head hit it with a thunk. blinking and seeing the plate i gape at all the food* h-holly cow!

The newcomer Cybertronian let it's narrow optics rest upon the human female, it's gaze momentarily coming to a halt over the powerful pendant.
"Is the food not to your liking?" it asked, it's voice female.
*blushing i sit up and shake my head* n-no i-its g-good i just cant believe theres so much...i dont think ive seen this much food set out like this~ *smiles sheepishly. has never eaten much as after running away at age 8 couldnt afford it*
Keeping it's distance, the female Cybertronian blinked. In the light, or maybe due to the angle in which she stood, her optics seemed to, just for a brief moment, flicker from azure to crimson.
"Shall I remove some of it?" she asked. Her voice flat, as though no emotions ran through her being.
*blinking in surprise i stare at her my eyes meeting her optics with a small frown as i say quietly* ....no...thankyou its fine.......*my eyes caculating but still holding their innoccent spark*
Noticing his descendant's reaction, Optimus stepped in beside the femme, laying a protective hand upon her shoulder. "This is Enthropia." he nodded toward the smaller Cybertronian, who held her gaze upon the human. "She has not been with us for very long." Optimus explained. "But she can be trusted none the less."
Stirring beside his human friend, Wheelie shook his head. "I shouldn't if I were you..." he remarked, his voice tinted with nervous anger. "She used to be a Con!"
Turning his piercing azure optics to the small alien, Optimus raised an index. "And so did you, my friend." he reminded. "... and no one thinks less of you due to your past, mistrust you, or question your loyalty."
Still shaking his head, Wheelie muttered something under his breath, glaring daggers at the charcoal grey and pitch black femme.
"Clearly..." she stated, her voice frigid, her narrow gaze fixed upon the small ex-decepticon "- not everyone can change."
*i frown at the strange response betwween the two and blink loosing my frown and blushing* oh sorry i ment no harm~ i was simply curious~ *i have to hold back from asking about barricade*
*smiles and cocks head cutely* nice to meet you~ *holds my small soft hand out*
Looking down at the human, Enthropia stood unmoving.
Noticing the awkwardness of the moment, Optimus guided the femme's servo to grasp the human's hand in greeting.
"She was captured as a very young sparkling." the Autobot leader began, looking at his smaller friend. "The Decepticons raised her as one of their own, taught her their ways, and indoctrinated her into their mindset."
Still unmoving, Enthropia defiantly raised her head, looking away.
"She was raised by the elite warriors." Optimus continued "and was destined to become Megatron's mate once she matured. She was rescued during one of our missions, and has been with us for little over an Earth year."
Venting inward, Enthropia kept her rigid posture, defiantly stoic against the words spoken. No emotions betrayed what inner thoughts she might have, and no movements told of her intentions. Her metal hand cold in the grasp of the human female.
"She does not know the social behaviours of your kind." Ratchet chimed in.
"She was kept isolated from Earth and it's population of humans."
Blinking, the dark Femme once more looked down upon the small human, and a stiff smile moved across her faceplates in an attempt to socialize with her.
"May I inquire what your name is?" Enthropia asked, her voice remaining strangely devoid of emotion.
*feeling cold dread fill my body a sense of foreboding filling me i hide it and smile timidly blushing* y-yes well...m-my name is nero~ *smiles shyly tilting head*
"Ah." Enthropia answered. "Nero. Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, born on the 15th of December , the year thirty-seven and died the ninth of June, in the year sixty-eight. You bear the name of a human emperor."
*i blink eyes wide mouth open* w-wha? ((lol imitating a fish OoO))
"I have studied the history of your race." Enthropia said flatly. "Nero is most famous for being Emperor Caligula's nephew, for persecuting the christian sects, for burning the city of Rome to make place for his palaces, and for using christian "martyrs" as a source of light during the dark hours of the night, burning their living flesh as torches."
*i grimace and grumble* no surprise father named me that then......*looks sad at the mention of my father and somewhat scared*
Stepping in between them, Bumblebee shook his head at the dark femme, pushing her back with one hand, the other protectively barring Nero, shielding her from the femme's gaze.
"I must ask your forgiveness." Enthropia voiced coldly, the freezing gaze in her intense optics seemingly drilling holes into the intervening scout's armour.
"I was unaware of your... misfortune." she continued, her deadly calm gaze frozen onto Bumblebee, her cold servo slipping from Nero's grip.
"As Optimus informed you..." she diverted her steady gaze to look down at Nero, her voice dropping to a near hiss. "...I am still learning."
*frozen stiff from the harsh femme i nod stiffly trembling slightly. menatlly i think. so this is what a decepticon is like...... i frown slightly and whisper to myself very quietly* barricade was nothing like you....*i give a forced smile and say* it was...nice to meet you....
Without another word, Enthropia turned and left the room, leaving the rest of the group in a stiff silence.
When the door had slid shut behind the femme, Wheelie made a silent whimpering sound, as though he were an injured animal.
"I hate that femme!" he whispered to himself, shivering as though an electric current ran through his small frame.
*swallowing i nod slightly to in aacknowlagement to him. then smiling faintly at bee* thanks bee....*i look down and sigh softly*
s-sorry....for all the trouble....
Chirping silently, Bumblebee patted Nero's shoulder, handing her the tray, gesturing for her to eat.
Ratchet, who had been quiet during the tense conversation sat down beside the berth, a sad and compassionate look upon his face.
"Enthropia is as good a comrade as any of us." he sighed. "The things she endured in the clutches of the Decepticons is... hard to imagine."
Nodding, Optimus agreed. "She has survived unmentionable torture, physical as well as mental."
Ratchet sighed once more. "The things she has gone through, and have had to put others through..."
Looking at the door where Enthropia exited, Ratchet vented another, deep sigh. "Most Decepticons... even the hardened warriors... would have been unable to survive what she has undergone."
Agreeing, Optimus bent down to look at Wheelie, who hid, trembling, pressed against Nero's thigh. "I would entrust Enthropia with my life!"

Still pressed against Nero's thigh, Wheelie remained trembling. Looking up at Optimus, he blinked, optics seeming large with dread.
"Maybe you trust her- he forced forth, his voice unsteady "-but I sure don't."
Sighing, the Prime shrugged and turned to leave. "Ratchet-" he spoke, his voice tired
"Be sure she eats something."
Nodding, Ratchet patted his old friend on the broad shoulder.
"You know I will, Optimus."
*gently petting the small mechs head i give a soft smile then hearing optimus words i pout but pick up a banana to eat and sit back*
Looking up at his human friend, Wheelie stayed pressed against her, huddling beneath the cover. When she was done eating, and the two larger Autobots had left the med-bay, he gave up a shuddering sigh. "You don't trust her either, do ya?" he asked, his optics large.
*smiles sadly and shakes head* no....something...doesnt feel right....i dont doubt for a second that she hatedwhat happened when she was with the decepticons...but i dont think she likes the autobots way either.....and that many years of prejudice has got to take a toll on one mentally....
"Yeah..." the small ex con shuddered. "You know, sometimes... that Optimus... is a bad judge of character..."
*grimaces and nods* yeah....*suddenly gasps in pain and clutches chest. my heart beating out of beat making it feel like someones hitting me in the chest. slowly after a few seconds it stops leaving me with a cold sweat and panting slightly.* i-i hate it when it does that
Forgetting his own problems when seeing her in pain, Wheelie hurried up into Nero's lap, his optics worried. "Ya want Ratchet in here?" he asked.
*i wince and shakily smile shaking my hand and lowering my hand shakily* n-no ill be fine...h-happens all the time...*i smile weakly again looking really weak tired and pale. my lips slightly blue from it. with a shaky sigh i reach and grab a small piece of cheese and nibble on it before laying down exhausted* s-sorry wheelie...need alittle rest...
Gently patting her uninjured hand, the small sentient machine smiled. "Okay, lady-" he said, his voice regaining a little of it's usual self-assuredness "-I'll guard ya."
*i laugh weakly and smile before going to sleep my heart still thumping*
Taking his new assignment with great pride, the small alien stayed by Nero's sleeping form. Listening to her breath, he stared out into the darkness of the vast room, the only light switched on being the lamp closest to her berth, it's small cone of light barely illuminating them.
