Nothing seemed to be what Margret wanted at that moment. The car ride was too bumpy. Every time that she attempted to read her notes on the project she was to be overseeing, they would hit a devastatingly large pothole and she would instantly lose her place and have to search for it, not to mention some of her papers went flying. Eventually she would find her place, but just a few seconds of reading later, and they would hit another pothole or the driver would swerve around one rather too quickly, she was glad she insisted on wearing the safety harness the vehicle provided, only to hit another one in the road, they were just everywhere. And it was not only the potholes that were starting to annoy her, but the men that were accompanying her as well. If it was not the potholes or the swerving, it was their boisterous laughter that distracted her from her reading. She was on the verge of telling all nine of them to shut the F (the word fuck was not in her vocabulary) up, but the fact that they had guns, fully loaded and ready, deterred her from doing so. If it were not for that fact, she would have surely told them to f off. Yes, she surely would have.
Guns had always frightened Margret. To her, they were just unnatural machines invented for the sole purpose of slaughtering innocent people. Yes, she can admit guns had saved many lives before, but for those lives to be save it cost someone theirs. She did not like them and refused to have them in her house ever since she had left her ex husband. The many guns that the General had had, some of them antiques used in old wars, were the cause of many of their fights. She did not want them in her house or near her children; he refused to give them up. In the end she had won by leaving the man, but she never got away from guns. Being a scientist for the government, there were always guns around her. It made her sick with fear every time she saw one.Though it was cold outside, Margret was sweating. The covering over the back of the military vehicle was good at keeping in the heat, and with the combined body heat of the ten people inside of the vehicle, it was becoming stifling. Glancing up from her papers, Margret realized that she had miscounted. There were eleven people in the vehicle including her. She had completely forgotten about Anthony, her personal guard. The male was always so quiet that it was easy to forget about him. She had only ever heard him speak three full sentences before. Mostly, he just answered her in grunts and shrugs. For some unknown reason, he did not like to speak much, but Margret did not mind, she preferred silence most of the time. He was a tall, almost six feet in height, and slender male with auburn colored hair and green gray eyes, remaindering her of a sky before a tornado hit. His nose was small and hawk like and the mood on his face was always sullen. Anthony never smiled, never laughed, and never cried. The expression on his face always stayed the same, even while he was fighting. But Margret understood exactly why he was the way he was.Anthony was the only candidate for the super soldier experiment that had ever survived. He was a complete success, though Margret suspected that there was some damage done to the mind considering the male did not talk much. But Margret could not say that for sure since she had not known Anthony before the change had happened.Only a very few select people knew about Anthony’s success, since it had happened after the program had been shut down. The only people that knew were Anthony, Margret, and a few other scientists. No one else was to know since she and five other scientists had been conducting the experiments illegally and against direct orders from the Board. If the information leaked out, then Margret would be in a whole lot of trouble though she was now a member of the Board. Her title would be stripped and she would be serving some serious jail time and Anthony would either be destroyed or used, and Margret wanted none of those things to happen, so she and the other scientists kept their mouths shut.Shaking her head, Margret tried to rid herself of those thoughts and glanced back down at the papers in her hand. The papers she was attempting to read were on the female test subject. She was trying to learn more about the female before she met her, but was finding it difficult since there was not much information to go by. All she knew of the female was that she was strong and healthy. There was no name, date of birth, or any information that would give any clue as to who the female actually was. That annoyed Margret greatly. If it had been anyone else but the General, the Board would have forced them to give all of the female’s information, even social security number. But since it was the General, and everyone on the Board respected and were terrified of him, they just over looked that fact.A grumbled of frustration came from Margret and Anthony turned in her direction. The woman was aggravated, anyone could see that by the way her lips formed a thin line and her eyes were narrowed. “What’s wrong?” asked Anthony though he really did not care. Margret could be quite annoying when she was upset and talking helped calm her down. He would rather hear her speak that have to listen to the grunts and groans she released in her aggravated state.Margret was a little too annoyed to notice that Anthony was actually speaking to her, but she answered his question all the same. “It’s the profile on the female subject. There is absolutely no information on her. There isn’t even past medical history on her! I’m starting to doubt this female even exists.”“Maybe they are keeping her information a secret for her protection,” Anthony offered in a monotone. His hardly ever let his voice show how he felt. Keeping his tone emotionless had always been easy for him.A shocked expression crossed Margret’s face when she looked to the male. She had never thought of that. “Why would they need to protect her?” she asked the male as if he knew all the answers. Anthony just shrugged his shoulders making it clear he did not know the answer and what he had said was just a suggestion. Margret sighed, slumped her shoulders, and turned back to her reading.Shortly after their small chit chat, the vehicle came to a halt and the driver opened the back window and informed everyone that they were at the complex. Margret gathered the papers around her, some having fallen to the floor when they had hit a pothole, and readied herself to see her ex. There were many other places she wanted to be at that moment, but her psychiatrist had told her that she was eventually going to have to confront the man face to face, and there was not a better place or time to do so. At least she had someone there to protect her if things got too far out of hand.In a single file, the men piled out of the back of the truck and soon disappeared as they went to introduce themselves to their new commander. Once they were gone, Anthony left next, checked to make sure the coast was clear, and then gestured to Margret that it was safe to exit the safety of the vehicle. The woman was very reluctant to leave, and showed it by moving slowly, much to Anthony’s annoyance. The woman was a coward; he hated cowards. When she finally reached the end of the truck, Anthony helped Margret get out of it. Taking a deep breath, Margret moved to the front of the vehicle and to the man she had been trying to avoid for years. Anthony followed noiselessly behind her, his green gray eyes roaming every inch of the complex trying to spot danger before it hit.Since she was staring down at her feet, trusting Anthony to make sure nothing happened to her, Margret heard the General’s booming voice before she laid eyes on the man. A female voice answered him, and recognizing it, Margret’s head shot up. Instantly her eyes landed on Jack and her heart stuttered. Quickening her pace, Margret nearly ran to her daughter, forgetting anything else around her.So into her argument, Jack never noticed the new arrivals. A familiar scent entered her nose, but it was drowned out by another stranger (unnatural) scent. She pushed the smells away and continued her disagreement with the General. It was not until Trunks released a low growl that Jack started to pay attention, and stopped arguing with her father. The first thing she spotted was a few new faces amongst the men that were standing around. Then, she spotted her mother who was nearly running in her direction. There was a male behind her that Jack had never seen before, and she had an instant distaste for him. Something about him was just not right, and it raised the hair on the back of her neck. When the male got closer, the strange scent got closer and she knew it was him. Every individual had a scent that was made up of the things that they do with their life, but his did not. It smelled manufactured, as if he were made in a factory rather than born.Apparently, Jack was not the only one that could smell the difference in the male because Hamilton was staring at the male and Trunks’ growl was growing louder with every inch the male got closer. If Jack did not calm the large male down, she was sure something bad was going to happen. “Hey,” she called softly up to him, touching his arm to get his attention. His growl ceased when he glanced down at Jack. “That woman is my mother, so please, be on your best behavior.” Trunks nodded his head once to let her know that he understood her, and she smiled up at him. “Thank you. Now, I’ll be back in just a minute.” Jack stepped away from Trunks and started to head to her mother, who was just a few feet away.Anthony saw the only woman in the group step away and walk forward. Something about her did not feel right and he reacted before he thought. He grabbed Margret and pushed her behind him, forgetting his strength and causing her to fall to the ground, simultaneously pulling out one of the many knives on his person, he was not allowed guns since Margret had a fear of them, and readied himself to attack. The woman hissed loudly in his direction, a sound which stood his hair on end and he forced back a shiver, to him it resembled a tiger’s hiss. He was ready to kill this woman if she took one more step, which she did and he lunged at her. Before he could reach her, something stopped him. Something big. When Anthony gazed at the thing that had stopped him, he eyes actually widened. The creature was huge, muscular, and ugly. One of its big hands was wrapped around his throat while the other held the hand he had his knife in at the wrist. The creature gave his wrist a twist and a loud crack resounded, and Anthony winced in pain. It had broken his wrist causing him to drop his knife, but that was not the only knife he had and that was not his only hand. Reaching down to his belt, Anthony grabbed one of his other knifes and quickly sliced the hand that was at his throat and wrist. Black blood oozed from the creatures wounds, but it did not release him. In fact, its grip tightened and cut off all breath completely.A loud noise crackled through the air and B’rasch recognized it as one of the ooman’s burners going off. He turned his head and spotted the General with his burner pointed through the air. “I’ll have to ask you to let that man go,” the General stated, and B’rasch nearly snorted. It was not until he glanced around that he realized that all of the ooman’s burners were pointed in his direction that he did let the male go. He did not let the male go easy though. B’rasch shoved him down to the ground and then walked away, shooting a glare at the male over his shoulder. Maybe next time he would actually get to kill the male. When Trunks reached Jack, he stopped and glanced down at her and looked as if he were pouting. Jack nearly burst into laughter but managed to hold it in. Shrugging her shoulders she said, “Maybe next time, big guy.” A smile appeared on her face and she gave his arm a squeeze. “I’m sure there will be a next time.” Jack left him alone so that she could go see to her mother, who had gotten up and was brushing herself off. “Um, hi,” Jack greeted shyly.Margret sent her daughter a loving smile and wrapped her in a tight hug. Jack returned the hug with as much force as she was receiving, taking extra measures not to hurt her mother. Margret was the first to release and Jack followed shortly after. Tears were brimming in her mother’s eyes and she inhaled sharply. “Let’s just get inside before anything else happens.”After a short tour of the complex, the General took Margret and her guard into his office so that they could speak privately about the project. Besides the three, Ashley was the only other individual in the room since he was the head scientist for the project. For over an hour, the three men had to listen to Margret complain about how the General did not tell her Jack was the female test subject, but the General was not really listening to her. He was staring at the man that had come with her, who was standing by the door just in case anyone came in. The General narrowed his eyes at the man. “Margret,” he started in a low deadly tone, “shut up!” Margret was slightly taken aback, but quickly regained her composure and placed her delicate hands upon her hips. “I’m tired of hearing you complain. I know it’s the only thing your good at, but I’m sick of it.”
Ashley rolled his eyes knowing that a fight was brewing. “Before you two start your bickering, why don’t we talk about the project, like we’re supposed to.” Both father and mother turned to glare at their son who rolled his eyes once more. “You two really need to give it a rest. This whole ‘we’re divorced and now we hate each other’ thing is so cliché and you just need to give it a rest. This isn’t about you, this is about the project. So, why don’t you focus on work instead of how much you despise being in the same room together?” After a few moments of glaring at each other, Margret and the General agreed to what Ashley suggested. “Good. Now, let’s start on why you’re here, Mom.”Margret sat in a nearby chair and sighed. “I’m here to speed up the process. The Board feels that your pace is too slow and they want you to quicken it. They thought if they had me come, then you guys would feel pressured. I told them it wouldn’t work, but they still forced me to come anyways. I think they just wanted to get rid of me. None of them really like me too much. They say I’m too much of a pacifist, which is probably why they leave me out on a lot of the meetings.”“Margret,” the General said in a bland tone gaining his ex’s attention. “You’re complaining again.” Margret’s eyes narrowed and her lips formed a tight line. The General had to force back a grin. He had always loved that expression on her face. It was, dare he say, adorable. He hated that word, and even thinking it made him feel unclean.Turning to her son, Margret asked, “What’s wrong with the test subject?” Ashley tilted his head, confused by the question. “In the original reports that I read, it was stated that the creature’s blood was a florescent green in color,” elaborated Margret. “After Anthony cut him, he bled black.”Ashley shook his head. “I don’t know. That is something you will have to ask Jack and Hamilton. Must have been something that they did when they healed him.” Seeing as his mother was confused, Ashley told her everything that had happened before her arrival, including the Guests and Jack’s newfound strength. The entire time he recalled the story, her eyes grew wider and wider, making it apparent that the Board really did keep her in the dark about a great many things. He briefly wondered why she was even on the Board. It seemed to be more of a title for her than an actual position. More like an honorary Board member than an actual one. The scientists must have complained that there were none of their kind on the Board, and members of the Board must have just selected his mother, knowing that it would be easy to keep her out of most of the happenings. It was slimy, but exactly what they would do.“That’s strange,” Margret muttered under her breath, but the General caught it. He inquired as to what was so strange and Margret told him. “The town where you captured the test subjects in was cleansed. Nothing had survived. There is no possible way those xenomorphs came from there.” There were a few moments of silence which Margret broke by standing. “I’m going to go to bed. It’s been a very long day. Good night.” She left the room before anymore questions could be asked, her being too tired to answer anymore. After Margret had left the room, the General stared hard at the back of his son’s head. He was a little more than upset with Ashley. Shortly after the battle with the xenomorphs had started, the General had been informed that both Jack’s and Trunks’ shocking devices had been shut off. There were only three people who could have done that, he being one of them. The other two were Ashley and Mark, and he knew that Mark would do no such thing. That left Ashley. It was just like Ashley to try and help his sister escape. He had always cared more about Jack than anything else in the world, even his career. Though it was the bravest thing Ashley had ever done, and the General was somewhat proud of the boy for actually growing a pair, he was still going to have to be severely punished. The General knew the perfect punishment for him. “Ashley,” the General called to his son, gaining the male’s attention. Ashley turned his cold blue eyes (his mother’s eyes) to the General and acknowledged the man with a short ‘yes’. “I’m taking you off as head scientist,” Ashley appeared genuinely shocked and horrified at the same time, “and I’m putting you on a new project.”Guessing that he knew what was coming next, Ashley still felt the urge to ask, “And what project would that be?” His mouth had dried and his voice came out cracked and thick from the back of his throat. He was so afraid of what the General might say, so afraid, his heart was pounding harshly in his ears and he started to feel as if he were swimming.Without hesitation, the General answered his son’s question. “You’ll be working on Jack’s project. Every experiment that will be run on her, you will be doing personally. No one else but you, understand?” A satisfied smile appeared on the older male’s face when a glint of pain flashed in the boy’s eyes. Ashley was hurting, as he should be. “I want you to collect samples from her first. Blood, bone marrow, brain tissue, anything and everything that we’re going to need to see just how much this change has been ingrained in her system. We must know how they did this to her so that we may duplicate for our own purposes.”“Basically,” started Ashley as he took a glance at his hands that were firmly clasped together, “you want me to perform every single painful experiment on my sister.” The General answered with a ‘precisely’, and Ashley responded with a shake of his head. He knew he was being punished for the opening he had made for Jack’s escape, an opening that had soon closed as soon as Trunks had gotten injured. Knowing he had no say in the matter, Ashley accepted his punishment and would be sure to be a little sneakier next time. He should have known he would have been caught considering only three people had access to the codes for the devices. Out of those three people, he was the only one that had interest in Jack’s escape. Yes, next time he would be a little more careful.Ashley stood from his chair and looked to the General, trying to make it seem as if his father’s declaration had no affect on him whatsoever, though both of them knew that was not the case. “I’ll give her a few days of rest,” he told the General. “That way she will be at full strength when the testing begins.” Ashley left the room before his father could say anything, though he doubted the man would protest too much considering he was going to get what he wanted, though it would not be as fast as he wanted it.Putting all thoughts of the General away, Ashley focused on trying to make it to his room without any interruptions, and if anyone did happen to notice him and call out his name, he ignored them and continued on his way. All he wanted to do was get straight to his bed and sleep, and pausing to speak with the fellow scientists in the compound just did not fit in that scenario. It had been well over twenty-four hours since he had last slept and it had finally calmed down enough to where he could fall asleep. Sleeping is what he planned on doing for the rest of the night or, at least until an emergency came up that demanded his attention, which was something that he hoped did not happen, though, considering how things have been going, it was a huge possibility.Upon reaching his room and entering it, Ashley instantly locked the door and headed straight for his bed. As he walked toward his unusually soft bed he stripped himself of all of his clothes that suddenly felt stifling and tossed them carelessly to the floor. Never did he notice that he had a visitor until she clapped her hands loudly and released a whistle of the same volume. Knowing who it was, Ashley just ignored her and crawled under the covers. “Aw, you’re no fun,” Rochelle pouted crossing her arms over her chest and jutting out her lower lip.Rochelle Williams was a fellow scientist and the women that Ashley had been secretly dating for three years now. She had soft gentle dark brown eyes which slanted down slightly, full lips that were always curved up slightly in a permanent smile, a nose that was slightly wider than average, and skin the color of milk chocolate that had a glow to it that matched her personality perfectly. Her hair was short, it came just under her chin, and always styled the same, a side part with the ends of her hair curled under to frame her chin. That night, her eyes seemed to sparkle with mischief and Ashley was not having any of it. He was tired and wanted to go to sleep.Ashley gently patted the empty space on the bed next to him and said, “Come to bed, baby. It’s late and we have lots to do in the morning.”“It’s not that late,” argued the woman. “Besides, I want to talk to you.” Her voice had grown grave and serious, something that did not happen too often. Ashley knew what she wanted to talk about and wanted to avoid the subject as he had been avoiding it for most of their relationship, the fact that he would not introduce her to his family. Now that his entire family was currently residing in the complex, Rochelle wanted to meet them even more, but knew Ashley would not budge on the matter. It had been their main argument for years and the cause of their short break ups. The woman always claimed he was ashamed of her because of the color of her skin, and Ashley tried to reassure her that it was not true, which it was not. He was ashamed of his family and did not want her to be involved with them. He was deathly afraid that if she met them, he would lose her. Losing Rochelle would be the same as losing Jack, something he could not handle, again. So, no matter how much they argued on the subject, it just was not going to happen, which he told her then as he had told her so many times before. “But they’re all here. It’s the perfect time to meet them.”“No,” Ashley stated sharply with a tone of finality, but Rochelle still continued on. She kept going until Ashley could no longer handle it and he sat up in the bed and glared at her. “Do you want to know why I don’t want you to meet my family?” he asked in a tone that frightened the small woman, and she nodded her head in silent response. “I don’t want you to meet my father because he’ll just use you against me. My mother would absolutely adore you, but she end up bringing you up in an argument with my father and I already told you what would happen there. And Jack,” he paused for a moment trying to think of an excuse for her not to meet Jack, but he could not think of a single one.A knowing smile crossed Rochelle’s face. “So, that means I get to meet your sister, right? You know, since you can’t think of a single reason why I can’t meet her.” When Ashley released a sigh, she knew she had won. Rochelle was so happy that she almost jumped for joy. “So, when do I get to meet her?”Getting out of bed, Ashley started to redress himself. “No time like the present,” he muttered to her and Rochelle’s mouth opened wide having not expected to see her so soon. Sure, she knew Jack, sort of. She had only met the Ashley’s sister as a test subject, never on a personal level.“We don’t have to go now,” she stated suddenly feeling hesitant. “I mean what if she’s asleep or something?”A low chuckle fell from Ashley knowing that Rochelle was just stalling. For years, the woman had bugged him about meeting his family, and now that she had the chance to meet just one of them, she was suddenly nervous. “Don’t worry, she’s going to like you,” he smiled up at her as he got his pants on, and then muttered, “I think,” under his breath. Rochelle had heard him and she quickly asked what the ‘I think’ was supposed to mean. Finished dressing, Ashley wrapped his arm around Rochelle’s shoulder and led her out of the room and toward Jack’s room. “Well,” he explained on the way, “with Jack she either likes you or she doesn’t. There’s no in between. If she doesn’t like you, she’ll let you know right away, she would never keep that a secret, even for my sake.” He looked down at her, the top of her head barely reached his bottom lip, and gave her a smile he hoped was reassuring. “But I’m positive that she’ll like you.”Seeing his smile, Rochelle relaxed, but only slightly. The truth was Rochelle was frightened of Jack and had been so before she had witnessed the woman fighting off the xenomorphs. It was common knowledge that Jack had murdered her former lover, and that fact tended to lead people to stay away from the woman. And Rochelle was supposed to meet the infamous Jack Evans in person, which was something she had never done before, it was not in her job description to come face to face with any of the test subjects, just to analyze the information that had been given to her on them. Not exactly the job that she had wanted, but the only one that would keep her working with Ashley. They had planned on trying to get her a better position, but with their chaotic schedules, it had never happened. When they reached the door to Jack’s room, Ashley already knowing that her room had been switched, Ashley banged on the door rather loudly, seeing that there was no light peeping out from the crack at the bottom of the door. Silence followed his knock and Ashley did not know if his knock was heard or not, though it had echoed down the hall. He readied himself to knock again, but the light came on and the door slowly opened. A tired looking Jack stood in the doorway dressed in nothing but black short cloth shorts and a matching tank top shirt. “You’re still up?” she managed to ask through a yawn. Eyeing the pair before her, Jack just shook her head. “You woke me up to meet your woman? Couldn’t you have just waited until morning?” Sighing, Jack opened the door to permit the couple to enter the room. “Well, since you’re here, you might as well come in.” After she had said that she laughed humorlessly. “I’m acting like this is my home. God, I need to get out of here.”“I agree,” Ashley said as he entered the room soon followed by Rochelle. Glancing around the room, Ashley cringed slightly upon seeing the mess. Clothes were strewn everywhere and boots lay randomly across the room. Jack had always kept things neat and organized so, he guessed that this was not her but Trunks, who was currently sitting on the ground at the foot of the bed with one of Jack’s shirts in his hands, pulling at the material. “Um, I love what you’ve done with the place.”“Fuck you, Ashley.” Jack said barely above a whisper as she shut the door. “He’s been at it for hours. I thought shutting off the lights would make him stop, but all he did was put on his mask and kept going. I had finally gotten to sleep when you knocked on the door.” Jack made her way to the bed, kicking clothes out of her way and nearly tripping over one of her boots. Before she clambered into the bed, she shot a glare at the back of Trunks’ head and then gestured for the two to join her since the bed was the only place to sit. “How long have you two been together?” she asked, the question more directed toward Ashley and he answered it swiftly. “Have you told Mom or the General?” Ashley shook his head. “Smart move. So, what’s your name?” she finally asked the woman seated next to her brother. Caught by surprise, it took a moment before Rochelle answered. “Interesting name,” commented Jack. “You have a nickname?”“Most of my family just calls me Rocky.” Rochelle had been a little hesitant to tell the woman that, but she had asked and when Rochelle was asked a question, she had always felt compelled to answer it.Jack smiled warmly at the woman. “Well, welcome to the family Rocky.” Ashley sighed in relief. Jack liked Rochelle and that was all that mattered to him. “Don’t feel sore that my brother doesn’t introduce you to the rest of the family. He’s doing you a favor, trust me.” The last was said in a quietly and Jack looked away for a moment. Ashley knew that her thoughts were on Jacob, and Ashley suddenly felt angry. The anger was not directed toward Jack, but at himself for failing. Jacob had really been the perfect test subject for the serum, but something had gone wrong. A something that Ashley could not figure out. Before they had even tested the drug on humans, they had run a series of blood tests on humans to see if it would even bond with them. The only blood it had bonded with was Jacobs, and everything had seemed to work. But, when Ashley had administered the serum to Jacob, something had gone wrong. The effect had not even been immediate. It had taken several days before Jacob went mad, killed some of his own men, and then turned his gun on Jack. Ashley wanted badly to tell his sister all of this, but could not find the words and so, he just let the silence fill the room. When the silence got it worse, Rochelle was ready to say goodnight, Trunks appeared next to them and poked Jack on the forehead. “What?” the small woman hissed at the creature that had insisted on destroying the room and keep her up in the process.“The room is a mess, you should clean it,” Trunks answered in plain English. His voice was rough and gravely, but what he had said was clear. Both Ashley and Rochelle’s mouths fell agape in shock at hearing the creature speak their own language, but Jack was too pissed at what he said for her mind to register that he had actually spoken words that she understood. “Excuse me? You’re the one that made the fucking mess, you clean it up.”With Jack’s voice having growl low and her mouth barely opening when she spoke, Ashley decided it was critical that he and Rochelle leave at that very moment. “Goodnight Jack!” He called to his sister as he dragged Rochelle out of the room. Once the couple was back in Ashley’s room, Ashley shut the door and turned to his love. “Don’t tell anyone he can speak English. If word got back to the General he’d start trying to pry Trunks for information about his race.”“But isn’t that what we want? Isn’t that the whole reason why we captured him in the first place?” Rochelle did not understand why Ashley was so determined not to let anyone know. With the creature having the ability to speak English, they could gather information from him a lot easier. “Now, we can ask him about his planet, his culture, and his biology.”A bitter laugh came from Ashley. “You are so naïve,” he said harshly to her. “This is a military research facility. They’re not interested in his culture or his planet. They’re only interested in what they can use to better the military, like his weapons and how they are made. Once they get everything they want for him, they’ll dispose of him.” He hated talking to Rochelle as if she were a child, but sometimes she was just so naïve it could not be helped. She should already have known that was what the Board was planning on doing with Trunks, but the shock on her face told him that she had never thought of that. “I’m sorry for talking to you like that,” Ashley apologized. “It’s late and I haven’t slept in a while. Let’s just go to bed.” Rochelle nodded, thinking sleep would be good for them both. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
