We had reached the top of the pyramid steps when Scar finally rejoined us. We couldnt stop we had to keep going. Down the stairs we ran and across the dirt to the hole where the electric sled to go back up was waiting. Alexa went to type the code in as I made sure everything was secured on me before I got on only to turn and see Alexa's hand covered in slime.
'No,' I thought as I felt Scar come up to my right side. They were almost to the surface we couldnt let them reach it. Casting my eyes towards Scar it didnt last cause all of a sudden i was impaled with a alien tail through my shoulder. Last thing I heard before I blacked out was Scar roaring very loudly.
Slowly my eyes opened and my vision refocused and I noticed I was lying in Scar's arms in the snow with Alexa sitting beside us. "What happened," I muttered as I slowly sat up but staying leaning against Scar. "We escaped, Scar and I battled the Queen she escaped up here but she is now in the bottom of the water, and we all survived," "Great, now tell me how my wound is and tell me if I can go with you this time Scar," I asked turning and casting my eyes up at him. Scar moved his hand and pressed a button on the side of my neck attached to a collar I hadnt noticed until now. "Yes you will be going with me I am not leaving you this time, you are of age you are allowed," as I heard Scar say that almost as clear as day I stared at him in absolute shock. "What...how did I just hear you say all that?," "The collar I gave you baby is a translator I had on me for just in case, you can now understand everything us predators say so that it will be much easier for you," "Oh Scar thank you," I smiled happily as I hugged him with my good left arm. "You should get going your ride arrived," Alexa said pointing towards the giant ship that had just came into view. "You gonna be ok Alexa?," "Yea i'm going to trek back to the ship and let them know what happened, I'll pass it off like you perished with the pyramid so you can be left in peace and not splayed over the news," "Thank you Alexa, you're a great guide never let anyone say otherwise," "Thank you Lea," with the farewells out of the way Alexa started the trek to the ship while Scar protectivly picked me up and bridal carried me onto the ship. Who knew what adventures were in store for us but together we could overcome anything. When we arrived in the ship the door closed and we were greeted by a elder predator. "Young Lea welcome home where you belong we have waited for you for a long time now," "Thank you my elder I am honoured to be home," I smiled as the elder kissed my forehead and nodded to Scar. "My condolences on the loss of your other two mates, Chopper and Celtic were fine warriors," "Thank you elder," "Take your young Lea to your living quarters Scar she looks tired I will send the medi to your room to heal her wound," as we were dismissed by the elder I snuggled up to Scar's chest and just enjoyed the walk to the private living quarters by the elders priviliage sector. I was finally home now to make sure I was never seperated from Scar again. Now to heal then await the future adventures.
