I awoke with an unfamiliar weight across my midsection; I looked to see Connor’s arm around my waist. I rolled onto my stomach to see Connor next to me. I smiled remembering the hours before and I couldn’t wait to have a repeat performance. I bit my lip worriedly as I had no idea what this would cause to happen to our working relationship. We couldn’t have our minds clouded by anything other than the plan we’d have originated to kill our target.

His arm tightened around my waist as I moved a bit so I could see outside, how long had I slept? It was still somewhat dark outside; it was early I’d have said 5 or 6am. I felt Connor nuzzle my neck and I turned to him, he grinned at me.

“Aye there she is, good morning,” He brushed hair out of my face before kissing me, I could get used to that, I smiled and kissed him back slowly parting his lips with my tongue. His tongue automatically tangled with mine in a dance that had heat rising in my chest and face. Both naked from the hours before it was easy for us to find one another, he rolled as to put me on top of him. My body was molten as his hands ran over me, down my back, around to my front to grab my breasts. His fingers pinched my nipples roughly and I let out a gasp that was a mix between pleasure and a bit of pain.

He lifted me onto him, one slow torturous inch at a time. I was strong but he was stronger, his hands gripped my hips and I had no control has he entered me. A quick strong mix of Irish and English curses was flying out of mouth in frustration, he locked eyes with me and grinned wickedly; with that grin he thrust inside me as hard as he could. My head fell back as he filled me. “That’s some vocabulary you’ve got there darling.” He reached for me and I pressed his hands against the bed pinning him there.

“Aye,” I managed to gasp as he got his hands from mine, he grabbed my ass and ran his hands up my back. I rode him, and felt myself dangerously close to the edge. “Let go. Now!” Connor demanded I obeyed and came with his name on my lips. I felt him cum hard as I ran my nails down his chest and I screamed his name. I collapsed beside him, “Fuck! Connor you’re going to be the death of me.”

He looked at me and laughed, “I mean it, but I die fucking you then God bless me that’s how I want to go.” Connor smiles and kissed me again.

“Sounds like a damn good way to go.” He wrapped his arms around me and we both fell asleep.
Murphy could hear everything in the main room, his eyebrows furrowed angrily for two reasons. One, the utter lack of respect, it was just fucking rude. Two, he needed to get laid and he’d been eyeing her too but damn it if Connor hadn’t got to her first. It always worked that way and it pissed Murphy off. He wouldn’t say anything at least not now and at least not to Connor. He lie there thinking and heard her cursing and screaming, it took all of his self-control not to grind his teeth in frustration. He put his pillow over his head and tried to drown them out. He couldn’t so as much as he tried so he started reciting the Lord’s Prayer.

“Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us….”

He was asleep before he could finish.
I woke again but this time from a nightmare I reached for Connor but he was gone, my breath hitched as I sat up alarmed.

“He left he’ll be right back,” Was the short clipped voice I heard from Murphy, I looked to the doorway that connected the kitchen and living room and he was standing there. His arms were crossed, he had a cigarette, and he looked pissed. I started scrambling for a shirt after realizing I was still naked, one hit me in the face as he threw it at me. I huffed and pulled it off my head. “As pleasin’ as you are to look at, it’s pretty clear you’re off limits.” I huffed and pulled the shirt off of my head. I put it on and quickly slipped on my jeans under the sheets after I’d picked them up off the floor. I stood to walk to the bathroom and intentionally bumped him with my shoulder. “Fuckin’ mature!” He snapped, I said nothing.
I walked into the bathroom shut the door, and looked at myself in the mirror. I was fuming, how dare he say that to me? I hopped in the shower and could hear him in my head, “As pleasin’ as you are to look at, it’s pretty clear you’re off limits.” What the hell had he meant? I made it a point to ask him when I was dressed and sitting in the kitchen. I nicked one of his cigarettes when he wasn’t looking.
“Right, so what the fuck did ya mean when you said that?” I demanded when Murph sat across from me, he frowned.
“You are the loudest couple I’ve ever had the unfortunate pleasure of hearing,” I sat shocked and thoroughly wished the floor would swallow me. “So is my brother that good or do you just like to scream?” I blinked and then quickly punched him between the eyes when it sunk in. His chair fell over backwards and so did he. I felt my knuckles burn and smiled. Limber from sex and awake from the shower, I danced on the balls of my feet ready to fight. He jumped to his feet with the MacManus fire in his eyes, he was ready to go. I quickly snuffed out my smoke and said calmly,
“I warn you Murph if you fight me I will win.”
“Like fuckin hell!” He was around the table in a flash and my fist caught him underneath the chin. He retaliated quickly and I evaded him with ease but I missed his quick left and took a punch to the side. It winded me but I kicked his knee out from under him and the height change allowed my knee to make solid contact with his chin. He went down but he didn’t stay down. “Fuckin’ bitch.” I jumped at him and got him by the shirt.
“What the fuck did you just say to me?” I said before rapping his head sharply against the wall. He brought his arms up and elbowed my arms off of him, his punch connected square with my jaw and little popping lights danced in front of my eyes. It staggered me long enough for him to grab my shirt and do the same to me. I felt my head connect with the wall and fresh rage took over.
Connor happened to come in the door; he locked it behind him and walked into the kitchen. It was a fucking bloodbath. My fist caught Murph in the nose and blood went everywhere, but he caught me in the lip and busted it.
“WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO DOING?!” Connor yelled as loud as he possibly could and we both stopped mid jab. I squeaked and took a step away from Murphy; Connor strode to me and grabbed my arm he pulled me into one of the bedrooms. “You stay here! You do not move!” His calm was forced and that scared me the most, he was loud when he was mad, this was bad. His eyes held a storm I was afraid of. My stomach danced with nerves and I felt like I was about two inches tall. He walked out and shut the door.
Connor walked to the kitchen where Murph was washing blood off of his face.

“You’re fucking lucky I don’t kill you Murph. What the fuck was that? Fuckin tell me why you two were fightin’?”
“She fuckin’ hit me first,” Murph quickly defended himself he really didn’t need another fistfight, not only was his face bruised, so was his ego.
“What the fuck for?” Connor snapped and banged a fist on the table,
“I made a comment about her screaming. You two are fucking loud.” Murph mumbled and ducked at Connors fist made its way toward his face. “God damn it Connor knock it off, it was a joke. Not my fuckin’ fault she can’t take a joke.”
Connor smirked and said,

“Yeah she’s a screamer but oh my god Murph…”
“No! Shut the fuck up! I can hear it! I don’t want to hear about it!” Murph looked him square in the eye and said,
“I am sorry Connor, but you’ve got one hell of a fighter there.”
“Do you two not see what the fuck you’ve done? Aye, you’ve a Fuckin black eye, and she’s a fucking mess too! Did you two fuckin’ morons stop to think that we have a hit tonight?”
“Fuck!”
“Now you’re fuckin’ remembering! Damn it Murph. I have to go deal with her.” Connors eyes reinstalled their rage and dead calm.
“What are you gonna do Connor?” Murph asked quietly, regretting the whole fight as his face slowly started to throb and a wicked headache made itself known.
“I ain’t sure.” Connor walked off and stopped just outside the door. He could picture her inside the room, biting her lip and pacing while she worried. She’d looked downright scared when he’d walked out.
Kalin POV
I paced, and stopped suddenly thinking, who was he to march me somewhere and bark commands at me? The fact that I had even went quietly irked me and I sat down on the bed and brooded.
The door opened and Connor walked in, his eyes weren’t as harsh but they were still hot and angry. I lunged to my feet as soon as he shut the door,
“Let me tell you something Connor MacManus, you DO NOT march me around like some bad child! You do not command or order me to do ANY damn thing.” I said driving the point with a sharp poke to his chest.
He grabbed my wrist and looked me dead in the eye; I lost all the yelling in me.
“Shut up, sit down, and fuckin’ explain.” Connor said quietly, too quietly, too calmly. I shut my mouth with a click of teeth and glared at him. “Well go on then,”
“I he told you there’s no fuckin’ reason for me to. He made a fuckin’ joke so I punched him. We fought, I won, now leave me alone.” He fixed me with a look that made me shudder, he was pissed.
“Now let me ask you what I asked Murph, did you two fuckin’ stop to think that we have a hit tonight? Or were you too busy being fuckin’ childish? You two have been taking the mick out of each other since you got here. I’m fuckin’ sick of it! What did it lead too? A fuckin’ fist fight! Actin like you’re fuckin’ 5 years old.”
I opened my mouth to retort and ask about Murph he threw punches too,
“Shut it!” Connor snapped, “I am beyond pissed at the both of you. What do you have to say for yourself?”
“Nothin’! ‘Cause I told you what happened! And it’s none of his damn business!” I mumbled and he heard me.
“I’ve a thought to just put you over my knee and spank you.” He said as serious as he could be. Fear like a cold ice dropped into my belly.
“Well you just get that thought right out of your head!” I said a bit panicked because he’d be just the type to do it too!
“In your defense he did make the stupid joke, fine I won’t but don’t let something like this happen again I mean it, I’ll do it.” Connor didn’t threaten that was a promise; I nodded and lay back on the bed. He lay back with me and looked at my face, ran a gentle thumb over my lip where Murph had busted it. I knew I had a great bruise on my side but I knew he was worse off than I was. I smirked in spite of myself and Connor looked at me. “What?”
“I kicked his ass.” I smiled I was suddenly exhausted Connor frowned and then grinned.
“Yes you did. Go to sleep we have a hit tonight.” I nodded and my side started to ache as I relaxed but I ignored it so he wouldn’t worry.
I was just happy he was here.
