Melissa ran as fast as she could back to the ship.
She started to cry when she heard the gun fire.
�Help�, she yelled, �Help�.
Yutani peered his head around a doorway �What is it?�
The young girl was out of breath from running and crying. Marcus, followed not far behind.
�Calm yourself Melissa and tell me.�
Melissa took a few deep breaths
�Marcus followed us, he wanted to show Katrina his private part, when we turned around to come back to the ship he grabbed her. She had a knife and stabbed at him, I heard a gun shoot I think he shot her.� Panted the young girl
Yutanis eyes formed into slits. �If he has hurt that girl he will die�.
Marcus could be seen running towards the ship. Yutani grabbed the young man around the throat and pushed him onto the wall of the ship. �What did you do to Katrina? A gunshot was heard�
�I shot at her and missed, just wanted to show the little bitch who was boss.�
�You better pray you missed boy, our success depends on it.� Glared Yutani

In the Pyramid
�How do you think the pyramid changed� enquired a soldier
�I don�t know,� replied Packer he then added �but be on the lookout for anything. I have never heard screams like that before.�
What do you think they are sir?�
�I don�t know but whatever they are they sure don�t sound friendly�. Gulped Packer.
Packer turns to Maddie, �Any ideas Dr Jones.�
�No, but from what I�ve heard so far I don�t think they are very nice.�
Just then the pyramid changed once more. Opening out into a large hallway, everyone had their weapons at the ready. A trail of ooze could be seen dripping down the wall.
�What is it, it looks like KY jelly, someone must be having one hell of an orgy here.� Commented a tall brown haired soldier.
�Mind above the groin soldier�. Bellowed Packer
�Yes Sir, sorry Sir�, the soldier stood to attention. Packer nodded and motioned to continue.
A scampering noise could be heard inside the wall, a soldier nearest to the sound got his gun at the ready, he slowly moved forward. He motioned for one of Dr Jones� assistants to bring a cryo gun to his position
The pair slowly edged closer and closer, the noise get louder and louder.
�Are you picking anything up on your movement sensor�, enquired the soldier
�No, whatever it is it�s too small to register�, replied the assistant
Slowly spindly spider like legs crept through a small hole in the wall. The creature leapt at the soldier using its long tail to propel itself through the air
It wrapped its tail around the soldiers neck and positioned itself on him
�Get it off, get it off� he screamed. But the more he screamed the closer the creature was to its objective.
The assistant fired the cryo gun at the disgusting creature, but the more she fired the more it gripped the soldier.
�Stop�, cried Maddie as she and Packer approached.
�Dr Jones how is he� Maddie bent down to feel his pulse and breathing, she then stood up puzzled
�It�s almost like he is asleep, but I don�t think we should try to remove the creature, not here, it seems to be keeping it alive�. Packer looked at Maddie.
�What should we do with him�, enquired a soldier approaching his fallen comrade.
�Dr Jones do you need to study this further�. Maddie nodded.
Packer turns to a soldier �Take him back to the ship, inform them that you are coming. Take two of Dr Jones assistants with you just in case. Have you been keeping an eye on your co-ordinates�. The soldier nods
On the nearby Yautja ship
The young girl wakes up with a start there is no one there, �Mel, Mel where are you, I could have swore I felt arms catching me.�
Katrina looks around and finds she is in what looks to be a room, with metallic walls. �Where am I, god my hands are cold. Oh that�s right I took them off to pat the penguins. Oh my side. What are these? Katrina felt like she had something up her nose.�
She pulled at the thing in her nose and one came out. It looked sort of like an earplug. Katrina started to feel sick and light headed. She inserted the plug back in and she felt better. A couple of minutes latter she took it out again and the same sick feeling came over her. �Must be to help me breath, definitely where the heck am I.�
�I hope Mels ok�. As Katrina starts to focus more on her surroundings she sees syringes, the hugest syringes she has ever seen. �I think it�s time to get out of here�
Slowly Katrina eases herself off the table, and follows the wall over what looks like a door suddenly the door opens. Katrina looks out the door, to her left and right; seeing that no one is there she edges her way along the wall. The intricate patterns in the wall intrigue her so beautiful yet so strange at the same time
Back at the Pyramid
The party make there way back to the surface with the injured soldier. �I hope you know which way you are going� questioned an assistant.
The soldier looked at his compass on the motion tracker. �The entrance is this way, come on hurry�
They ran down the steps and away from the pyramid �Quickly get onto the sled,� yelled the soldier as he punched in the code to send them on their way.
�Hey careful where you point that gun would you.� Groaned the assistant to the soldier. �Sorry that thing gives me the creeps,� he replied.
�Nearing the top, we�ll be off this thing soon�.
Finally reaching the top the three move the soldier of the sled. After sending the sled back down the soldier slowly turned around this mouth wide open as he stood there. �Those bodies, that�s our team, come one lets get back to the ship.�
�Ship this is green group, making our way back to the ship, prepare containment area�.
The soldier and assistants loaded the male onto a snowmobile and made their way back to the ship.
Back on the Yautja ship
The large Elder walked slowly and calmly towards his top physician.
�How is the ooman?� clicked the elder
The physician replied � Surprisingly good, I haven�t had a chance to examine her yet, the scout has only just bought her in. Shall we� motioned the physician pointing towards the examination room.
The pair turn the corner into the examination room, the physician looks around shocked �She�s gone�
�What do you mean she�s gone�, hissed the Elder, he then added �She�s injured, she can�t have gone too far.
The physician looked around the room, �I don�t think we will have any trouble finding her� pointing to a trail of blood around the wall.
The Elder and the physician made there way out of the examination room and followed the trail of blood. They stopped.
�Look, there she is�. The two creatures cloak and move closer to the wounded girl.
�What was that�, said Katrina as a gust of wind rushed past her. �Must be imagining things.�
The Elder decloaked just in front of Katrina, but she hadn�t noticed him. All of a suddedn THUD, she runs runs face first into his strong broad chest. Katrina backs up slightly, grumbles and rubs her face. �Who put that wall there?�
Katrinas eyes finally focused on a muscular chest, it was pale cream in color with black/green specks bordering it.
�Oh boy, I think I�m in deep shi, oops trouble�, said Katrina shifting her eyes from the creatures chest up to his face.
All Katrina could see was four mandibles and a set of teeth. His forehead seem to slope upwards, she could just see his golden brown eyes. He had grayish tubelike hair or dreadlocks for want of a better word with lighter patches, a ring decorated each dreadlock.
Katrinas eyes made their way to the creatures face once more �Well looks like I might be lunch�. Her hand went up to her face, �I wish I hadn�t said that might give you some ideas.�
The creature shook his head and series of clicking sounds came out of his mouth. �I heard that noise earlier�, said Katrina as the creature slowly moved closer.
�She thinks she�s lunch�, clicked the elder
Much to Katrinas shock another slightly larger male came over. Her eyes traveled from one creature to the other, �Oh boy, I�m definitely in deep trouble�.
The creatures in front of her made a clattering noise. It almost sounded like they were laughing
A masked creature came up behind them. Katrina noticed he had her knife in his hand. With the size of the creatures before her and the items they had strapped to their bodies, which looked as though they could be weapons she thought better of asking for it back.
The masked creature made some clicking sounds. �She has another knife concealed in her clothing, what are your orders Elder.�
Lets see what the young one does first before we decide what to do with her. If she tries to deceive us we�ll eliminate her, if she does not then we shall see�, finished the elder as he saw Katrina slowly sliding down the wall.
Katrina suddenly felt very hot and tired. She looked at her jacket Well that could be why she thought. �Hey� she yelled, �You�re getting taller, oops, no I�m getting shorter� as she managed to stop her gradual slide.
She shook her head to try to focus, as she started to take her coat off she remembered that she put an extra knife in her pocket, she felt her pocket They didn�t search me
�She has a lot of spirit�, clicked the Elder as he looked once more at the blood on the wall of his ship.
Katrina looked up at the creature standing in front of her. It softly growled and purred at her as it slowly moved forward, she slowly and carefully eased the knife from her pocket, with the knife on her flattened palm she slowly started to extend her arm towards the creature in front of her, as she did so she looked down to the ground.
She slowly looked back up to see the creature looking at the knife in her hand. The Elder slowly moved his hand forward and gently touched Katrinas hand as he took the knife from her His hand is so soft thought Katrina
The Elder turned the knife around examining it, he then ran the blade along the top of his left arm near his wrist.
�This is a sharp weapon�, he clicked to the other two.
Katrina looked in horror as glowing green blood started to flow from the wound. Without thinking she quickly grabbed the creatures arm with her left hand and placed it over the top of the wound the creature had created on himself.
The masked creature growled loudly and started to move towards Katrina, but he was given a signal to stand down.
Katrina slowly brought her right hand up to add extra pressure to the wound; she was shocked to see red blood on it.
�Where�s that from?� she asked as she looked up into the creatures golden brown eyes. �Oh no, Melissa�.
Katrina looked at her stomach, �Whoah, that�s not good, that�s from me isn�t it�
The Elder nodded at the ooman as he noticed that she was slipping further down the wall. He quickly placed his right arm around her waist to stop her descent.
�Lets get you both to the medical bay� clicked the physician
The Elder looked at Katrina her strength was slowly starting to fail her. He removed his arm from her waist and placed it under her bottom to scoop her into his arms.
�Man you�re strong�, said Katrina
�Man you�re light� said the Elder
Katrina almost jumped out of his arms but his strong but gentle grip held her fast.
�You, You speak English� queried Katrina
�Of course� responded the Elder
The guard, the physician and the Elder with Katrina in his arms slowly made their way to the examining room.
The Elder laid Katrina down onto the cold metal table. He had no sooner laid her down when she jumped back up.

�Shit a brick that�s cold�, exclaimed Katrina
The physician moved a large machine into position, he then approached Katrina with a wand looking device. �I need you to lie back down, and that would hurt.�
�Huh� Katrina looked at the creature puzzled.
The physician helped Katrina back onto the table �If you were to shit a brick it would hurt�
Katrina looked at the physician and the wand and said, �Oh, I guess it would, wouldn�t it.� Her fear level rose slightly
�I can smell your fear young one, do not be scared this will not hurt. Katrina was still unsure.
An assistant was applying a gel to the Elders wound. The physician moved over to the Elder, �See I shall show you�. He flicked a switch on the machine and waved the wand over the older creature. The physician then pointed at the screen.
Katrina looked towards the screen �Cool, I can see your bones.�
The physician presses another series of button and the internal organs could be clearly seen. Katrina could see his heart beating slow and steady. She sat there with her mouth wide open.
The physician looked at her and said �If you keep your mouth open like that a flying insect will go in�
Katrina quickly closed her mouth, �Sorry its just that was so cool�
�It is isn�t it, how about we check you out�, said the physician as the Elder walked towards them.
Katrina looked at his left arm and her mouth dropped open again. The Elder reached forward and gently pushed her lower jaw up �Remember the flying insects�
�Oh oops, but your arm its better�.
The Elder nods at Katrina and then moves his attention to the scan.
�Nothing embedded, organs are undamaged, you are a very healthy specimen�, said the physician as he placed his finger on Katrinas nose, �I�ve just got to clean you up and stop the bleeding�
�Now, what is your name young one� enquired the Elder.
The physician made himself busy preparing the cleansing liquid and healing gel.
�Katrina�
The Elder bows his head to Katrina, �Katrina you may call me Elder�, Katrina bows her head to the Elder
�Hi Elder, what�s this fellows name� pointing to the physician
�His name is Sy�gen, he is the physician on this ship.�
�Hi Sy�gen�, �Hi Katrina�, the pair bowing their heads at each other.
Sy�gen nods at the Elder and they both move slowly towards Katrina �Can you sit up for me please�
Sy�gen slowly lifts Katrina�s shirt so that it rests just above her wound, he gently applied the cleansing liquid. He reaches for the healing gel. �This may sting a bit�
�Okay� said Katrina as she turned her head to look at the Elder, he softly purred at her. �Elder do you really come from up there�, asks Katrina pointing her finger up.
The Elder nods
�Wow, I don�t supposed you need someone to clean your weapons. Ahhhh�, Sy�gen had place the gel on Katrinas wound.
The Elder looks at Katrina and says �No, but if I do I will let you know�
Sy�gen moved around to the back to place the gel there. He looked at her, �Are you ready on the count of three�
�Hey, I know this trick my Dad does it all the time�, she said to the huge male.
�And what trick is that?�
�He says on the count of three and he never gets to three�
Sy�gen looks at the Elder �Ain�t no fooling her�. The Elder shakes his head.
An alarm sounds on the Elders wrist computer, a voice sounds �Clec�tahs life signs have been extinguished�.
Sy�gen looks up at the Elder �No surprise there, he was always a little cocky for his own good�, he applies the last of the gel to Katrinas back.
�Who�s a little cocky, AHHH�
�Fuck, I was talking in English�, hissed Sy�gen
�Oh no one in particular�, responded the Elder, �By the way what were you doing out there Katrina�.
Katrina looks down at her wound, �Oh just, making friends with the penguins.�
�Don�t you know they bite�, feeling the same scar on his finger
Katrina looks up at the Elder, �Yeh, I know, I have a way with animals, well all except the male human animal.�
�So my scout observed, Who was the male that shot you�.
�My step-brother�
The Elder looks at Sy�gen �He is a very dishonorable man.�, both nod at each other and then look at Katrina.
Katrina looks at her two new alien friends �Can I go now, I promise I won�t tell anyone?�
Sy�gen looks at Katrina with his unusual blue eyes �She can be trusted�
�Ok you can go, but remember your promise� growled the Elder
�I will, UM am I allowed to give you a hug?�
The Elder nods. Katrina reaches up and places her arms around the Elder, he gently places his arms around her. �Wow you�re cuddly too!� she exclaims
Sy�gen moves over to Katrina, �What about me I patched you up�.
Katrina left the embrace of the Elder and hugged Sy�gen. �Thank you� she said
Sy�gen left Katrinas embrace �The gel will help you heal and stop infection, and remember not a word to anyone�. Katrina nodded.
The Elder brought out her jacket and gave it to her, it had been cleaned of all blood
Katrina looked at the blood on the wall, �I should clean that off for you�
Sy�gen looked at her �Nah, my assistant is getting bored he can do it. Katrina make sure you rest when you reach the water vehicle.�
Katrina looked at him puzzled �Oh the ship, sure will.�
A masked creature came in and motioned Katrina to follow him. Katrina slid off the table.
The Elder looked at the physician, �Remind you of anyone�
�Yep same beauty, innocence and fire�
The masked creature escorted Katrina to the outer door of the ship. He unwrapped Katrina�s knives; they had been sharpened and cleaned. Katrina shook with fear and the cold. He placed them in her pocket and zipped up her jacket. �You may need these�
The guard and Katrina bow their heads to each other. �Thank you, Oh do you want the plugs back.� The guard shakes his head. �Keep them�.
The guard turns back and enters the ship. Katrina looks everywhere for the door and the ship for that matter and couldn�t find it. �Wow I can�t believe that just happened�.
Katrina turned from the alien ship and headed in the direction of the ship. Hearing a familiar clicking noise she swung around but there was nothing there. In the distance Katrina could see a snow mobile approaching the ship �Shit I hope that�s not Mum, I�m going to be in big trouble�.
As she got closer she saw them take out a soldier he seemed to have something attached to his face.
�Elder Katrina is back kind of safely.�, clicked the guard
�What do you mean Kind of safely�, hissed the Elder
�Some of the oomans have returned to the water vehicle, one of them has a facehugger attached�.
�Fuck� exclaimed the Elder all eyes turning to him, �Nothing we can do about it, we have our own concerns, just hope they have adequate containment areas, return to the ship.�
�Yes Elder�
An alarm sounds on a nearby panel, �Elder, Tre�nacs life signs have been extinguished.�
The Elder stands there with his hand on his chin staring out towards the direction of the pyramid, he takes in a deep breath. Be safe my son and return.
