Jack’s thought was left incomplete.“How could I what?”

slumped against the wall.“You said it was all Jake’s decision,” Loralei reminded him. “You said it was between the three of them.”
“Tha’ was before I knew tha’ Nic had planned it out
an’…Lor, I jus’ don’ know wha’ t’ make o’ tha’.”Loralei put her hand on Jack’s shoulder and looked into his
eyes. “What if it were me?”“Hm? Ye already
said tha’ none o’ this could be compared, or has that slipped yer mind, love?”“It hasn’t – I know what I said. You would die for me, wouldn’t you?” Her face moved closer to his.
“O’ course.”
“Just as I would for you.”
She placed her lips so they were brushing her husband’s as she
spoke. “Is there anything you wouldn’t
do for me?”Jack closed his eyes, fighting against mounting
desire. “No.”“Think carefully – would you deny me anything?”
Jack sighed, understanding. “Christ, I wouldn’t…” He
moved just enough so that his lips were firmly against Loralei’s and kissed
her, as he knew she wanted him to, as his body wanted him to, as his mind needed
him to. After working his body into a
frenzy, he pulled back asking, “We jus’ sit back and let things go?”Loralei smiled wickedly, “I’m more in the mood to stand
myself, love, but yes.” She gasped as
Jack’s teeth grazed her neck.
