Authors Notes: I am going to put the preds speaking in italics only when they are talking to each other when a human is around, other than that it will be as the norm.
Katrina and Melissa walked all around the ship, and found not a soul. �Surely there�s got to be someone still here,� said Melissa
�I suppose they figure who�s out here, it�s not as if someone�s going to come up and steal a boat,� replied Katrina, the two girls looked at each other and laughed.
�Ah the sound of happiness.� A voice came out of a darkened area of the ship.
The two girls gasped and turned around.
Out of the darkness came Yutani. �Sorry Sir, this is my friend Melissa Jackson, Melissa this is� Katrina was about to say his name and he finished for her.
�Mr Yutani,� he said shaking Melissa�s� hand, he then added, �your parents work for me also don�t they�, not knowing what to say Melissa just nodded. �I�m glad you are here to keep Katrina company, I hope you both will enjoy your stay my ship� with that said Yutani simply bowed to the girls and walked off.
Katrina then said to him, �Excuse me Mr Yutani,� he stopped then turned around, Katrina continued, �Has everyone left the ship? We were hoping that we might have been able to tag along with someone and have a look at the ship.�
�There are a few personnel left on the ship, but they are busy in classified areas�, replied Yutani, he then added �there is a map of the ship in every corridor, I�m sure you can give yourself a guided tour.�
�Thank you Sir�. Replied Katrina
�You know Kat, I don�t think he was too helpful.� Stated Melissa, Katrina shook her head.
�Let�s go this way, I think the kitchens�, whoops I mean galley is,� turning around in a complete circle, �this way.� Said Katrina, �I�m starved, besides seen one ship seen them all�, she added.
�Aye, Aye Captn�, replied Melissa
Laughing all the way the two girls rounded the corner into the galley, there was a lone worker preparing the evening meal.
�Hello girls�, she said. The girls introduced themselves, �Hello, I�m Katrina Jones,� �I�m Sandra, one of the cooks here, you�re Maddies' daughter� she added. Katrina nodded. �And I�m Melissa Jackson�,
�I have been instructed to see that you girls, one, don�t get into too much mischief on the ship here alone,� �Mum�, they laughed and both said. Sandra continued, �And two make sure that you don�t go hungry. So what can I get for you two.?"
�Can I please have a ham sandwich?� asked Melissa �Sure, I love people that say please, and believe me that doesn�t happen often around here.� Responded Sandra.
�Do you have any Vegemite?� Katrina asked, �Sure do, I�m from Australia, so I don�t go to far without it.� Said Sandra.
�How can you eat that stuff.�? Said Melissa.
�It�s OK, you just can�t spread it on thick like peanut butter.� Replied Katrina.
�Can I please have a Vegemite Sandwich? Asked Katrina, and then added �Oh and please don�t spread it too thick�.
�Not a problem, even I don�t like it spread too thick, and I grew up with the stuff.� Sandra then said, �I�d better not get used to these good manners�.
With something in the girls tummies they then said to Sandra �Thank you Sandra, can we have an apple each please.� �Sure, here you go, I heard there�s some penguins just next to the ship.�

The girls looked at each other excitedly �Thanks Sandra, lets go get our Extra, Extra Winter woolies.�

Sandra then said, �Don�t go too far OK! And I know where you have gone so I�ll let your Mum know when she returns�.
The two girls gave the woman a hug and skipped off, like a couple of eight year olds picking flowers.
The team had just reached the Whaling Station, and looked in awe. Bodies of men hanging upside down.

�Look at those bodies, they�re Weylands men, what could have done this.� Commented one soldier.
�I don�t know, but we�d better be careful�, replied Maddie.
Samuel Packer walked up and said �OK, Red group, six of you stay here and keep an eye on the entrance to the tunnel, the other half and Green group follow Dr Jones and I, make sure you have you safeties off and be ready for anything, and those in Dr Jones' team, do try and be careful where you aim the Cryo guns, I don�t think we won�t to be frozen like that.�
Laughter erupted and a unanimous �Got It Sir� from all members of the team.
Packer always run his operations as if the members where one big family, he found less people were lost that way and the team always got on. Though this every one knew he could be the Sergeant-Major type if needed.
Maddie approached Samuel. �Have you seen Marcus?� Samuel shook his head. Maddie added �I thought I saw him get into one of the snowmobiles, I hope he is here somewhere�.
Samuel put a hand on Maddies� shoulder and said. �Katrina can take care of herself I�m sure she will be fine, besides we have a job to do, Michael taught both of you well.�
�I know, but I�m her Mum it�s also my job to worry,� replied Maddie.
�Did you want to go back?� Asked Samuel
�No, I may worry but I know she can take care of herself, and I do have a job to do.� Said Maddie
�That�s a girl�. Said Samuel as he gave her a kiss on the forehead
The team made their way down the tunnel, using the equipment Weylands team had installed. Can�t look a gift company in the mouth can you.
�Oh my God, look at this.� Maddie shouted.
There lay the body of a man; it looked as though his chest had been sliced with an extremely sharp object, straight through the bone.
Packer then shouted, �Ok, people there�s nothing we can do for him let�s get on with our job. Has everybody got movement sensors?� The team nods.
�Lets go then.� Adds Packer.
The team moves further and further into the pyramid.
�What are we actually looking for?� enquired a soldier
Packers booming voice responded, �That is Dr Jones� department not ours we are only here for protection,� with a tone change he then adds, �but just let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary.�
The soldier nods. And the team walks further into the pyramid.
All of a sudden human screams could be heard. Guns pointing everywhere, as they move even further. All of a sudden the walls start to change. Half of the team is separated.
�Hey Katrina, look, I�m a polar bear�. Melissa came lumbering out of the main cargo door of the ship. Katrina laughed so hard that she almost split her sides.
�Do you think Marcus really went on the mission, Melissa?� Katrina asked, �I hope so� her friend replied.
The two girls step out onto the ice for the first time.
�Cool, this is fun�. They laughed, �Hey look, penguins, stay there for a sec Mel.�

Melissa nodded, she knew what Katrina was like, she had even patted Sierra a few times. Katrina squatted down on the ice just near the penguin, and motioned the creature to her. The little creature slowly came forward until Katrina could touch it. Katrina kept very still and the penguin sniffed her and gently nudged her hand.

�Can my friend meet you?� Katrina asked the penguin. The penguin looked up at Katrina as if it understood what she said and then to Melissa and walked straight over to Melissa. �You know what to do Mel.�
Melissa squatted down and did exactly the same as Katrina
�This is so cool Kat�, said Melissa. �I know,� replied Katrina.
Unknown to the girls that Marcus and Yutani were also watching. Yutani looked to Marcus and said, �That was amazing, I would never had believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. And you say she has done the same thing with a panther, brown bear, tiger a wolf and a cobra�
�Yes Sir just to name a few.� Replied Marcus he started to walk off then added �If you will excuse me sir I wish to talk to my step-sister�
�Certainly Marcus, but be good boy, we can�t afford to lose her�. Yutani replied.
Yutani stood on the deck and watched the two girls move off from the penguins and move further and further from the ship.

�Any thing from the scouts�, barked the Elder

�Yes Elder bringing it up on the Secondary Panel now.� clicked the navigator.
�What are they doing? Scouts what are those oomans doing? Clicked the Elder.
�They are appear to be patting the little creatures Elder.� Clicked a Scout.
�Don�t they know they bite�? He growled, feeling a scar on his little finger, a chill going up his huge body.
�What do you want me to do?� enquired the Scout
�Just keep an eye on them�. Barked the Elder
Katrina and Melissa had found another bunch of penguins to meet. They were enjoying their company when the heard a series of clicks and growls.
�Did you hear that Mel?� asked Katrina
�Sure did� replied Melissa
�I think we should go back now.� they both said together. That happened quite a lot with the two girls, so much so that because they did look alike some people thought that they were twins.
They swung around to return to the ship only to find Marcus standing in front of them with an evil grin on his face.
�Well, well, what are we doing all the way out here?� sneered Marcus
�Just looking at the penguins�, calmly replied Katrina she then added �Now we're going back to the ship�.
�I don�t think so.� Boomed Marcus.
�Let us go�. Shouted Katrina
�Are you picking this up Elder.� Clicked a scout
�Yes, just observe.� He hissed
�Yes Elder�, clicked the scout
�What was that?� asked Marcus
�How the heck would I know� snapped Katrina and she moved around him tryin to head back to the ship.
Marcus grabbed Katrina by the arm. She struggled. �I�ve got something to show you�. He whispered in her ear as he felt his groin area.
�I don�t want to see it.� Replied Katrina. "Oh I'm sure you do" sneered Marcus
Melissa kicked Marcus in the shins but it didn�t make him let go of Katrinas� arm.
�Run Mel, get help�. Pleaded Katrina
Melissa ran as fast as she could. Katrina reached into the pocket of her coat and eased out the knife her mother gave her slashed into the coat of her stepbrother.
�You little bitch this is a brand new coat.� Cursed Marcus, but at least he had let her go.
Marcus reached into his pocket and pulled out his pistol, he aimed it at Katrina and he fired. The bullet hit Katrina in the side of the stomach just in line with her navel.
Before Katrina fell forward she managed to slash Marcus again, only this time she got him, blood started to flow from a wound on his arm. He was about to fire the weapon again when he heard a growl. Marcus looked around but could not see anything. Marcus ran away like a dog with its tail between its legs.
Katrina dropped the knife and continued to fall, but something stopped her, it almost felt like a pair of arms.
�What do you want me to do with the female she is injured�, clicked the scout
�How badly is she injured?� hissed the Elder
�I�m not sure. I cannot pick up the ooman weapons projectile in my scans�. Responded the scout.

�Being her back to the ship.� Barked the Elder
�Right away, Elder�. Clicked the scout
Can this get anymore fucking complicated?
�News coming in from the other scout Elder�. Clicked the navigator. Seems like it.
�Elder the group of humans has separated one is guarding the tunnel entrance the other has gone into the pyramid.� Clicked the other scout
�Eliminate the threat at the tunnel entrance�. Barked the elder
�It shall be done�, hissed the scout
The cloaked scout lengthened his wrist blades and sliced of the heads of two soldiers off before they even had a chance to scream, blood splattered over his cloaking device. He lengthened his combi-stick and threw it impaling a line of 3 soldiers. He retrived his weapon and searched for the last remaining soldier.
�What the fuck are you?�. Cursed the soldier.
�Your worst fucken nightmare� the Yautja scout cursed as he sliced the remaining soldier in two. He had heard an armed male say that to someone and now he liked to use it, oomans have such strange sayings but they seem to fit different situations.
�Elder, threat has been eliminated�. Clicked the scout
�Good, return to the ship.� Barked the Elder
