Hi I�m back, I hope Santa, Mrs Claus, the elves and the reindeer have been good to everyone. Would you believe I had over half the chapter keyed in before the hols and the computer did some weird stuff and all I got was pages of hieroglyphics, anyway I�ve had to type it in again, rotten F.R.E.D.
As usual things in italics are the preds talking in their lingo or people thinking. Please enjoy, I hope I can remember all the changes I made when I typed it in.
Dreitans Ship
Jim was forced to drive the bus through to the cargo hold at the rear of the ship. The group was then lead to the Main Chamber. As there was no need for secrecy know the Dreitans were in their natural appearance, teeth bared and claws extended.
Allison was the first one to see them and she immediately fainted, Jim quickly catching her, soon after Kim fainted, Sandy catching her, snickers of laughter could be heard all around. All eyes then fell on Kelly expecting her to faint any second, but she didn�t.
The leader approached her, �You are very strong willed, I shall enjoy breaking that will very much�. Jim hoped Kelly wouldn�t retaliate and to his relief she didn�t
Aach�ni had taught her that there were just some situations where it is best nothing is said or done, another opportunity would present itself. Kelly simply recognized this was one such time.
The leader touched Kelly�s cheek then ran his fingers along her collar bone, �You do not have much fear of me do you�.
Kelly closed her eyes, �I have seen some scary things in my life�, upon opening her eyes she realized the leader now stood in front of her.
The leader looked into her eyes, �Yes, I feel you have�. He looked down at her bracelet then lifted her arm, �This is very beautiful, Where did you get it?�
Kelly stood up straight as the leader examined the jewels and metallic looking bone carefully, �A friend gave it to me.�
The leader ran his fingers along its smooth surfaces, �It is like nothing I have seen noted in your planets information archives, Where did you get it?� He hissed menacingly in Kelly�s ear.
Kelly shivered and closed her eyes, opening them she calmly said, �I told you a friend have it to me.�
The leader ran his hand across Kelly�s neck almost cutting into her skin, �What sort of friend, a lover perhaps?� Kelly could feel the sensation of the leader breathing on her neck.
Her skin felt like it was crawling, �No, just a friend�. She knew Jim thought that exact same thing. The bracelet had the appearance of being very expensive. Only a lover would have made that sort of a purchase.
The leader retracted his claws and he rang his hand along the tops of her breasts, �What species?�
Kelly looked into the leaders reddening eyes, �One you really don�t want to get angry. The band members looked at her amazed, none more than Jim, How can she be so calm he huffed, Maybe she likes it
Aach�ni had often told her not to let anyone know of their species name for despite their power, numbers and skills, they still had enemies that could harm her just for uttering their name.
The leader extended his claws once again, �You and your friends will entertain us, but later, we need to feed, take them to a holding cell�.
A guard approached and pushed Kelly towards her friends. The leader grabbed her arm, reached for the bracelet and slipped it off, she struggled, �This means a lot to you does it not, more than your life perhaps�.
The guard forced Kelly�s head so she was looking directly at the leader, �Yes and No, I�m sure when we meet again if I explain how I lost it he would give me another�.
The leader gave a signal to stop and he came up behind Kelly, he retracted his claws and reached his hand down her shirt, �You sound very certain�, he slowly licked her neck.
Kelly�s face held a disgusted expression and she closed her eyes to regain her composure, �His friendship is that strong he would travel the galaxy to find me.�
She knew that wasn�t entirely true, she hadn�t seen Kie since after her fifth birthday, she hoped that she hadn�t dishonored him in some way, or maybe he was dead, Aach�ni never said anything.
The leader hissed and roughly pushed towards her friends, Sam caught before she connected with the floor, he held her tightly, he could feel the wetness of her tears on his shirt.
The guards pushed the band towards the holding cell, as they were moving off the leader yelled, �I shall enjoy killing you in front of your friend little one.�
Sam held onto Kelly tighter and kissed her forehead, �We�ll be ok Kel.� On the way too the holding cells some people where being forced towards the Main Chamber, Jim turned to look and the guard following the group of people hissed at him.
After being shoved into the holding cell Jim was finally able to get to Kelly, Sam released her and Jim held onto her tightly, �Sam�s right, we�ll be Ok, there can�t be anymore than seventeen or so of them and they don�t seem to be carrying weapons with them anymore�.
Kelly sighed and pulled away, �What are their teeth and claws Jim, weapons aren�t just guns and knives�.
Very good Kelly, Ty�clen had a grin on his face a mile wide, Aach�ni always used to say that to them when they were pups, Stay strong for us little one, we will get to you soon.
Kelly squatted against the wall and buried her head in her knees, the cell smelt horrible. Kelly lifted her head up and looked around the room, Jim was pacing the cell like an expectant father, Allison was crying and Tom was holding her, Kim, Sam and Sandy where staring at different spots in the room, trying to make sense of what has happened. Kelly rested her head back on her knees again.
Earth
Petra had not long gotten home from work. It was about twelve o�clock, there had been an emergency at the hospital and she had to work back. She sighed as she lay back in the tub, her body relaxed as the warm water and bubbles surrounded her. The kids would be setting up know.
As usual when you�re in the shower/bath or on the loo, the phone always rings doesn�t it. She didn�t really want to answer it just in case it was the hospital, but it could be the kids. Petra dried her hand and reached for her mobile. The ID Panel said �BIG BEN�. Her brother, he and some of his friends were heading to the races too.
�Hello�,
�Petra, have you heard from the kids, Hey pipe down would ya, I can�t hear, sorry lil sis�.
�No, have you��.
�We ran into them at a roadblock this morning, they were about half an hour ahead, they should be here but we�ve searched the track, no one has seen their bus�.
Petra climbed out of the bath, �Oh Ben�.
�Petra do you have a number you can contact�.
�No, I found Jim�s mobile on the table when I got home, I don�t know his password, but I know a friend that may be able to help.
Seeker
Ki�taka had met with Aach�ni to discuss how they were going to let Kelly know who he was. Aach�ni shook his head, �You are going to look funny Ki�taka, I have never liked things like that they get caught on too many things�.
Ki�taka laughed, �Father it will just be temporary, unless of course Kelly like it�.
Suddenly Aach�ni jumped, and a buzzing sound was heard coming from his chest plate, �What is it Father?�
Aach�ni reached under his chest plate and took out a pager, he looked at the message, �Need H, P�, he started running, Ki�taka hot on his heals, �What is wrong?�
They reached the navigation room and Ki�taka�s heart skipped a beat when he saw his father reach for the hidden panel.
�Hello�
�Petra you sound upset�.
�Big A, they didn�t make it�.
�Shh, it is alright�.
�They�ve been taken, I know it�.
Ki�taka was fuming, �I am going to kill Ty�clen�.
Aach�ni approached him, �Settle son there has got to be a reason why this has happened and why he hasn�t contacted us�.
Aach�ni continued to try to settle Petra, once he succeeded he turned the phone off.
Ki�taka personally pressed the button to communicate with his brother, �There had better be a good explanation father�. A video image of Ty�clen putting a panel in place he looked up into the burning blue eyes of his brother, �What happened?�
�I had everything set, once I was on board their ship, the auto-pilot would follow wherever they went�.
Ty�clen could see Ki�taka pacing, �And�.
He shook is head, �Her Uncle turned up, when I looked back the ship had gone�. Ki�taka folded his muscled arms, Ty�clen could see his muscles twitching in anger, �My communications were down, I think I may have a way we can get Kelly and rid the universe of the Dreitans also�.
Ki�taka cocked his head to the side, �How?�
Ty�clen started to talk of his idea.
Dreitan Ship
Jim had settled slightly, the band had been surveying their surrounding for a while know, Allison looked over to a pile stuff near Kelly, �What is that?�
Kelly looked over to the pile, she had smelt the smell before but wasn�t going to say what it was unless asked, �It�s the remains of the previous occupants�.
Allison looked deathly pale, �How can you sit there next to it?�
Kelly shook her head, �Do I have a choice you have the only fucking chair princess�. The room fell silent, everyone wanted to know how Kelly knew what it was, but they were afraid of the answer, they knew she had some mysterious friends that used to visit her and her Grandfather.
Out of the silence came the leaders voice, �Let the feast begin�. A shiver fell down their spines as blood-curdling screams were heard followed by silence. Jim looked around at all the shocked faces, except for Kelly�s, nothing seemed to phase her, �I dread to think what that was�.
Kelly looked around for anything they could use as a weapon, but apart from some bones, there was nothing. Two guards approached.
�We are ready for you now, males follow me obtain your equipment, females follow this guard.� The girls looked at each other, Kelly and Jim took each others hands, they embraced and Jim kissed Kelly passionately, they were forced apart by the guards, �You lie, he gave you the bracelet, now move.
The boys were led away to get the loads of equipment, while the girls were let towards the Main Chamber. As the girls walked the body of a girl their age was carried out a curtained area, followed by the body of a baby. A large male followed pulling up his pants, he grunted at the sight of the girls. The guard hissed at him, �These are the entertainment, breeding will be later�.
The male smiled his evil smile, �Good, I can wait, their fear will make them sweeter�, He brought his face very close to Allison. Kelly tried to pull her away, �Ah, the strong willed one, I believe our leader wants the pleasure of taking you personally�.
The guard roughly pushed the girls forward, the door to the Main Chamber slid open, as the girls entered the leader came out of a curtained area holding a crying baby, �Success at last�, then another body of a woman was carried out, the leader stopped the Medical Attendant, �Treat her body with respect look at the precious gift she has given us�, the Attendant nodded.
Another Attendant approached the leader, �We need to check your son leader�, he reached for the baby.
The leader nods and hands him the baby, �Remember any defects and eliminate the child immediately�. The leader immediately focused his attention to the girls, especially Kelly, �My guard tells me you are intimate with one of the males, he feels it was he that gave you the bracelet�.
Kelly watched the leader as he circled her getting closer and closer to her, �If that�s what you want to think�.
He placed his hand over her crotch, �With your strong will you should bear me strong offspring�.
Ty�clen had been running through a series of scans when he picked up on the goings on, �Get you filthy hands off her�. He did an in depth scan for the Dreitans communication frequency and contacted the Seeker.
The Seeker
Ki�taka had summoned the presence of the personal adornment specialist to meet him at a relieving station near the navigation room. The small male stood back to survey his work, �Should you wish to remove them the wounds will heal over rapidly�.
Ki�taka swung around to look at the image screen. He turned his head left to right, �Very individual On�ka�, Ki�taka nodded to the shorter male and he left.
Ki�taka turned to find his father standing behind him shaking his head, �What is Kien�ata going to say�. Ki�taka sucked his breath in as pain jolted his brow from frowning, �It was her idea�.
�Son, Ty�clen has sent the Dreitans frequency. We are ready to transmit, Jai�tien is in place and the Seekers pilots and navigators have been notified of the co-ordinates we are required to be in�. Ki�taka took a deep breath in and put his cape back on, �Show time�.
Ki�taka and Aach�ni made their way to the communications room. Normally communications were done directly from the navigation room, this situation called for something special. The plan was to transmit audio only, but have both audio and visual on the Dreitans, usually both came on.
On the way to the communications room Ki�taka�s new look turned quite a few heads, the respect they had for him meant that no one said anything. He did sense that they thought it was a good look, and to coin a human term, it was cool.
Dreitan Ship
One guard kept Kim and Allison to the side while another held Kelly�s hands behind her back. The leader retracted his claws and moved his hand down her pants to see if he could get a reaction. He was disappointed she stood there. Kelly looked at him, �What did you think, you could put your hand down my pants and then I�d be yours, think again buddy.�
The leader hissed and struck Kelly hard to the chest, she fell to the ground, she didn�t hear any cracks but she was winded for a few seconds, she had definitely had worse, slowly she sat back up.
A nearby male laughed, �She is as stubborn as you�, the leader turned and hissed angrily the quickly and effortlessly severed his head from his body. Unfortunately it rolled towards Allison who fainted into the guards� arms, the guard dropped her hard to the floor, Kim sat near her trying to revive her, �Come on Al.�
Kelly slowly stood back up, the leader swung her around and trust her hard face first against the wall. He walked up behind her and placed his hand back down her pants, �Do you think you will be able to entertain after I penetrate you�. He licked the area between her ear and neck, �Well you will not�.
Kelly was putting up a good fight, but the leader was stronger than he looked and started to part her legs with his knees, he reached down and began to push her pants down one handed, �I am going to enjoy this�, He was almost successful in pulling her pants halfway down when a buzzer sounded on the communications panel.
With the leader momentarily distracted Kelly took the opportunity to kick him fair in the balls, the leader doubled over in pain and Kelly quickly hitched her pants up and the guard grabbed her.
�Incoming message leader,� hissed the navigator. The leader groaned as he straightened himself, �From�. �I do not know leader�.
The leader looked at the females, �Remove them just in case it is this so called friend�.
The guard looked at the females with a glint in his eye, �With pleasure�.
The Seeker
Ki�taka gave the nod and the communications officer opened the channel for him to speak. The video image immediately came up on the screen, Aach�ni shifted nervously as he saw Kelly and two other young females being forced behind a curtain. Ki�taka�s brows raised as he noticed the leader grimacing, only one injury could have been inflicted to make that face.
�Greetings, I am Elder, we are searching for some entertainment and were wondering if you know of where we might be able to obtain some�.
There was a long pause, and Ki�taka shifted nervously, �Are they receiving us?�, the communications officer nodded.
�Greeting Elder, we may be able to help you for a price, what is your occasion?�
�We are welcoming home a family member�. Ki�takas ears rang as he heard the high-pitched scream, he knew what is was, a Dreitan was mating with a female. He had seen their handy-work, it never ended well. Ki�taka looked over to his father, Aach�ni had fear written all over his face, he had never seen that in his father before.
�We do have what you require, let us talk price�.
Ki�taka�s eyes closed to near slits as he looked at the leader, �How about we meet first, I will send you our co-ordinates, then we shall talk price, Agreed�.
There was rushed panic, a guard was making nervous gestured and pointing movements, �I do not like this leader�. They had forgotten to close the link so the Yautja heard every word, Stupid Creatures
The leader raised his hand and hissed, �Silence, I am leader here, Agreed�.
The communications officer broke the audio connection. Ki�taka nodded and the navigation room was contacted and things were set in motion, �Send a message to High Elder Jai�tien that all is in place and to be ready�.
Jai�tien decloaked his ship and the Seeker was positioned so that it could maneuver around into position quickly around Jai�tiens ship. Ty�clen still followed silently cloaked behind the Dreitan ship, he would trap them there would be no escape.
The Dreitans could be seen arming themselves. The Dreitan ship approached the magnificent Yautja ship, sitting silently in space. All that could be seen clearly was it�s praying mantis like head front the ship halted.
�Prepare to dock with our ship, then we will talk price�. Jai�tien had his pilots turn the ship slightly revealing it�s true size.
Jai�tiens ship the Grazer was slightly larger than the average Mother ship, it was about four football fields in length and almost one and a half high more in places due to its shape.
The Dreitans could be seen staring in awe, �What species are you?�
�We are one that does not like to be kept waiting, now prepare to dock with our ship�.
A male Dreitans scream could be heard and three human girls ran out of a curtained area just behind the leader. Ki�taka looked at this father who had a grin on his face.
A guard could be seen whispering in the leaders ear, �The girl, are you sure?� the guard nodded. The leader turned his red eyes burning, �You may wish to reconsider once you hear what one member of the entertainment group has done�.
Ki�taka looked at the leaders image and closed his eyes, �I highly doubt that, why�. His mind searched but he couldn�t register and image just a feeling, Kelly
The leader hissed angrily, �One of the females has just killed on of my best guards.�
Ki�taka�s sigh was long, �Why do you not let us be in charge of security, I assure you we will no tolerate misbehavior in anyway�. Ki�taka could see the leaders eye color soften, he was thinking about it.�
The navigator approached the leader, �Leader I do not like this, we can not see their image it is not right�. The leader straightened his body, �My navigator here does not like this, neither do I, we shall leave.�
�I think not Leader�, Ty�clens ship decloaked as did the Seeker, maneuvering into position it successfully blocked any chance the Dreitans had of escape. �Any attempts to fire your weapons and our shields will repel your firepower, your ship will be destroyed, besides you agreed we would talk price once we met, proceed to the largest ship and dock in bay C, we will make it easy for you the lights in bay C will be the only ones on�.
The leader hissed in anger, �And if we do not�. Ki�taka laughed, the his tone went deadly serious, �We will board your ship, remove the entertainment ourselves, kill you and your crew then destroy your ship. Which would you prefer the easy way or they hard way.�
Any situation other than to reclaim stolen property and such actions were frowned upon, anyone caught would have been dealt with severely, and their status would have been little more than a bad blood. But seeing Kelly was the property of the Ti�karani clan, it would never be questioned.
The Dreitans were scurrying around, talking amongst themselves. Ki�taka continued, �Let us meet first, we shall prepare a banquet to have after the nights entertainment, however, I do assure you my initial threat still stands�.
The leader looked at his fellow Dreitans, he lowered his head, �Agreed�. The leader broke of communications and the ship moved toward the entrance to the Seekers docking bay. Ty�clens ship moved in close behind.
Ki�taka had his hidden warriors signaled to be at the ready, �Get me the physician. The communication officer nodded. �Sy�gen, seven breathing apparatus to docking bay C, we need to give them out without being noticed.�
Sy�gen stood there, his right elbow resting on the palm of his left hand and his index finger and thumb running along his jaw line. Ki�taka hated when he did that, he often did it on hunts, and when he was in full armour he had quite a sinister air about him, standing there contemplating how he was going to deliver the death blow.
�HHMM, I could insist on examining them for disease or injuries, protecting our investment so to speak�. Ki�taka nodded in agreement, �Sounds good brother, make it happen.� Ki�taka couldn�t help but noticed Sy�gen�s left brow raised, Ki�taka laughed, �You will see all in good time�.
Sy�gen prepared a pack of medical supplies and the required breathing apparatus. Quite a few had been developed over the years. From types that resemble ear plugs that are unseen to visible types that resemble a full face oxygen mask or the good old tube up each nostril type.
It was decided to go with a small metal plug, durable, they were often known to out last the wearer. The inner workings converted the outside atmosphere into one the wearer could breathe. They were inserted with a nasal probe, they plugs themselves were coated with an anesthetic so no pain was felt on implantation, removal, well that was another story. He grabbed his mask and made his way to the docking bay.
Kelly, Kim and Allison were so busy running and trying to find a place to hide that they didn�t feel the thud of the ship landing in the docking bay. They stuck their heads through a curtain to find a young woman covering on a bed, �Shh, it�s Ok�, the woman shook her head and pointed.
There they saw a male in the corner, he hissed as he made his way out. He snarled at the woman on the bed and lunged for her. As he did he lashed out at the girls as they were running out the opening, as he came down on top of the woman he struck one of them as they fled.
They were on the run once more, they ran into an armed guard. He hissed in triumph as he backed them against the wall. In the distance the boys could be seen carrying some equipment, the guards pushing them along. Suddenly an alarm sounded and all the guards ran towards the main chamber.
Jim and the boys put down the equipment and started to run to the girls, they began to run also, Kelly hadn�t gone far when she felt a sharp pain, she never noticed it before, her body had been running on adrenaline for quite a while now.
Kim glanced at Kelly, �Shit Kel, you�re bleeding�. Kelly stopped and looked down at her torn bloodied shirt. The male had cut the left side of her abdomen. Noticing this the boys ran faster.
Jim was the first to reach her, he gently lowered her to the ground, �Shit what happened?� Kelly gritted her teeth, �One of them scratched me.� Jim had managed to sneak one of the backpacks saying it contained equipment, they needed. But it actually had some first aid equipment and some water. He took off the back pack and opened it.
Kelly tried to relax as he took out a pad and bandage, each breath hurt even more since they had been running. Jim placed the pad over the wound and wrapped the bandage around it. Kelly cried out. �Sorry Kelly�, Sandy held Kelly forward so Jim could wrap the bandage around more, �God that hurts, I don�t suppose you brought some water�.
Jim reached in and toke out a couple of bottles of water, he handed one to Sam and the others and the other to Kelly. She looked at him and smiled, �You�re a honey�, and she took a small ship, Jim kissed her forehead, �I know�.
Sandy looked around, �Do you know what�s going on?�, Kim and Allison shook their heads
Kelly took a pained breath in, �Someone�s got the scared though, they got some, Ahhh, sort of message.� Jim steadies her, �Try not to talk, do you think it could be your friends�. Kelly shrugged her shoulders and grimaced, it even hurt to do that.
Sam placed his hand on Kim�s shoulder, �We should find a place to hide, did you see any?�. Kim shook her head, then looked at the boys, �None, did you?�. Tom shook his head, �Only pens full of people all as scared as us�. Allison looked at they boys, fear etched on her face, �What are we going to do?�
Jim tried to carefully move Kelly so that he could sit behind her, but she cried out, �Don�t please Jim, it hurts too much�. He just sat next to her. He looked at Allison, We�ll stay put, we can see anyone if they approach us anywhere else they can sneak up on us, I�m sure they�ll come back sooner or later�.
Docking Bay
Ki�taka made his way onto the docking bay. The hunters and warriors waited patiently for their order and for the Dreitans to make a move, they bowed their heads as he approached.
Sy�gen placed the pack on his back and unclamped the mask from his belt, and placed it to his face and attached the hoses. He nodded to Ki�taka that he was ready. It was decided that the masks would be plain, if Kelly recognized the symbol and the Dreitans sensed this she could be in danger.
Ki�taka signaled to a Communication officer to open a channel, he nodded that it was ready, �I am glad you decided to co-operate. My physician wishes to board to check the entertainment, precautionary measure, we do not want illness on our ship�.
Slowly the outer doors of the irregular square ship slid apart, �You may exit your ship, make sure you have the entertainment assembled�.
From the shadows a pale figure emerged. The male stood in awe of the massive humanoid creature in front of him. The bigger they are the harder they fall. Ki�taka nodded to his left then right and the hidden Yautja became visible. The leader went to return to his ship.
Ki�taka flared his mandibles and shook his finger from side to side, �Our agreement leader, now how about price, you let us have the entertainment and most of your cargo and you leave with your lives intact, but you must never return to this system again�.
The leader hissed as five warriors and Sy�gen entered his ship, �If I disagree�. Ki�taka emitted a deep bellowing laugh, �You only have five armed, you are out numbered on my ship�, Ki�taka laughed again and suddenly stopped, �I assure you my six will be more than a match for whatever you have on board, my physician maybe unarmed, but I assure you, he knows how to kill. Now where is our entertainment�.
�Go find them�, the leader hissed loudly as he lunged for Ki�taka, but he sidestepped him. The leader turned to try again and was met with Ki�taka�s first to his stomach and a hand around his neck. Ki�taka lifted the leader to his head height and peered into his eyes. �If you do not like our agreement let me know now and I will eliminate every last crew member now�.
The leader eyes were almost black and Ki�taka dropped him to the floor, the leader rubbed his throat and coughed, �Agreed�. Ki�taka slapped the leader on his back, �Good the banquet is being prepared now. Bring out the rest of your men and we shall show you to your quarters�. The leader nodded his head and signaled for his men to exit the ship.
Sy�gen and the warriors began to check the ship immediately they entered, as you can imagine due to their size the Dreitans offered no resistance. Three of the warriors huffed in disappointment. They checked the Main Chamber and the navigation room, they had just began to check the curtained areas when they came across two females and one newborn laid out with respect, Sy�gen shook his head, �They must have had success, this complicates things, find the child�, a warrior nodded and moved off.
The Yautja moved slowly checking the curtained areas thoroughly. Aach�nis voice could be heard, �Son quickly check the next area�, Sy�gen parted the curtain, the last in this section, there he found a male with a knife sticking out of his chest directly over his heart, one had clutched his chest, the other his groin area. Sy�gen took a deep breath in, �OUCH�. Aach�ni laughed at the actions of his son, �They went to the right my son�.
Sy�gen signaled to the warriors, they nodded, one dropped a head that he had found. Checking the remainder of the curtained areas they came across the body of a young woman, her eyes wide open. Sy�gen reached down and gently closed them and bowed his head in respect.
Back at the Docking Bay
Five more specialist hunters joined Ki�taka and his three warriors and proceeded to escort the Dreitans out of the docking bay. The hunters were ruthless, no prey had ever escaped them to live another day, human, hard meat or otherwise.
Highly trained in fighting, hunting and tracking, they could track prey from tracks and scents left weeks earlier. Even though none of them liked humans much, they still followed the codes strictly, no mercy was ever given to a hard meat or a Dreitan.
Back on the Dreitan ship
Kelly went to shift but it hurt, �God, you think I�d learn by now. I can take a bashing to a point but stabbing is another thing�. Jim shook his head, �What do you mean bashing, you�ve never been bashed�. Kelly looked at him in surprise, �I always knew you went around with blinkers on, why do you think my Grandfather was so scared of my Uncle finding us�. Jim lowered his head, �I�m sorry I didn�t know�. �I never wanted you to in case he did something to you, you don�t know him like I do�. Kelly cried out as she move, �This stings something terrible�.
Sy�gen snapped his head up from the substance he was examining, he looked at the others . They all nodded then cloaked and moved to the direction of the cry. Three warriors quickly moved silently past the group of humans to the holding pens, �Take them out to the deck, then take them to our storage facility, search further into the ship�.
Two cloaked Yautja moved closer to the bands position. Kelly looked right at the two shimmery figures, she tried to breath in deeply, �What ever you guys do, don�t look directly into their eyes and no sudden movement�. The band looked around and Jim frowned at her, �I don�t see a thing�.
Kelly wnet to get up, �You�ll see, help me up�, Jim and Sam carefully lifted her to her feet. Kelly grimaced then turned to face Jim and placed her head on his chest, �Kelly are you sure your alright�, she nodded.
Ty�clen scanned the group for weapons while Sy�gen searched through the visions in his mask, he saw the mark and scanned no further, he could smell the blood from here. The brothers faced each other, �Kelly�s injured Ty�clen�
Heavy footsteps could be heard and the Yautja decloak, the band gasp in shock, �What the?�. Kelly slowly turned her body so as not to show as much pain. She quickly lifted her eyes and glanced at the Yautja, Still no markings to say if they are Big A�s clan
The Yautja bowed their heads and as told Kelly bowed back and kept her eyes low. She closed her eyes and her head fell backward onto Jims chest.
Sy�gen growled softly and approached. Gut instinct made Jim push Kelly behind him. She hit the wall painfully. Jim raised his water bottle above his head. Sy�gen knocked the bottle out of his hand, grabbed him around the neck and lifted up of the ground. Before Jim realized it he was at eye level with the massive creature.
�What did he think he was going to do with that I wonder�. All the band heard was a clicking noise and what sounded like laughter
Ty�clen noticed Kelly slowly slide to the floor and one of the frightened looking males making sure she didn�t fall too hard, �Sy�gen, Kelly needs help�.
Sy�gen dropped the unconscious Jim to the side and approached, he could tell she was in pain, but her breathing and heart rate were surprisingly steady. He took of the pack and took out the breathing apparatus, Start inserting them, Ty�clen nodded and prepared one for insertion.
One of the creatures approached Allison with something in his hand. She fainted as usual. The creature inserted something in her nose and pressed a button, there was a hissing noise, then he did the same thing to the other nostril. Another creature came up and slung Allison over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and headed off.
Kim was next, she tried to remain calm but it got the better of her and she fainted while watching the creature prepare another thing.
Sy�gen stood in front of Kelly expecting with the pain she was in she would pass out also, but she didn�t.
Kelly glanced up at the creature, his left arm across his chest, right elbow resting in the palm of his hand, his right index finger and thumb running along the jaw line of his mask.
Ty�clen looked up at him and shook his head, �You know you may look intimidating to her when you do that, stop scaring the hell out of her and treat her already�. Ty�clen finished inserting the breathing apparatus into Kim and another honored guard came and slung her over her shoulder and left.
Some creatures approached from the direction of the cargo bay. They surrounded the boys and they were moved to the opposite side off the hallway. Sam and Tom dragged Jim�s still unconscious form over.
The creature that put the thing in Allison and Kim�s nose moved closer to Kelly and bent down. Kelly lifted her head up as she heard him purr. She was looking directly at him, but her pain and tiredness didn�t let her recognize that he was actually the same one from Dr Smiths house. She glanced down at his arm, he pointed �OUCH�. Kelly nodded and moved her hand revealing the blood soaked bandages. He steadied her as her body shook with pain, �OUCH�.
Sy�gen prepared an injection, �How heavy is she?, Ty�clen thought for a moment, �Almost as heavy as Le�Chak�, as Sy�gen expelled some of the liquid he shook his head, �I am not even going to ask how you knew that�, he looked at her small human body and expelled a bit more, then began to approach once more.
Jim finally awoke to find Allison and Kim missing, he and the other boys were surrounded by three huge humanoid creature and were now watching two creatures one crouched at Kelly�s shoulders the other approaching her with a huge needle. Jim jumped up, �What are you doing?, leave her alone�, one of the creatures kicked him to the floor and roared at him.
Sy�gen squatted and lifted Kelly�s shirt, his brow raised under his mask, �Her chest is an interesting shade of purple�. The bleeding had slowed slightly from the wound, but if he didn�t stop it soon she would be in trouble. Sy�gen nodded at Ty�clen, he steadied her shoulders and upper body as Sy�gen brought the needle forward.
Kelly�s eyes widened and the scent of fear filled the area. She started to shake her head, �No, don�t, please I don�t want it�, she tried to shake loose out of Ty�clens grip but couldn�t. Sy�gen knelt down, his muscled legs either side of Kelly�s making sure he kept only enough pressure on her to stop movement. The wrong position and the needle would definitely kill her.
Jim tried to get up again and a creature roared at him, the creature could smell his aggression and a small amount of fear.
Ty�clen purred softly at her and softly stroked her neck, but her fear was already too great. Sy�gen pressed the sharp needle into the soft skin of her stomach area, she screamed out at the top of her lungs. The pair loosened their grip as she lost consciousness.
One of the creatures looked at Kelly and laughed, the one that gave her the injection jumped up and roared at him, �What was your reaction the first time you received that injection?�, he hung his head low, �The same�, he brought his mask in close to the other ones and growled and clicked at him more, �Yes I remember well, five of your fellow warriors had to chase you then hold you done while I administered it�.
Sy�gen quickly swung around and returned to Kelly, he removed the bandages and cleansed the wound, being extremely careful not to dislodge the clot that had already formed, �I will clean it more and seal it properly when we get her to the Medical Bay�, Ty�clen nodded as he inserted the breathing apparatus.
The other warriors roughly inserted the breathing apparatus into the boys and pushed them towards the cargo hold. Jim glanced back and saw one of the creatures carefully pick Kelly up. Sandy glanced back, �Should have seen how Al and Kimmie were carried out, like a sack of potatoes�.
Jim quickly turned again to see Kelly being placed into the arms of another creature, he looked older than the other two, then they moved quickly to the exit, �May be they are her friends�.
Sy�gen approached a warrior, he bowed his head and gave him a small bundle. He unwrapped the bundle and hung his head low, �It must have been defective�.
Yautja were similar once, some clans still are, anything slightly abnormal was eliminated at birth, since then it has been found that some abnormalities actually grow out of the individual. Sy�gen often wondered how many brilliant potential warriors had been eliminated because they were born with an extra limb, joined together with a twin or with some other problem that could have been treated and cured. Even those with conditions that couldn�t be cured have found some way of strengthening the clan, Ki�taka�s personal adornment specialist himself was born with unusually short arms and yet he has managed to become a wonderful designer of art, which has been prized by many of other clans.
Sy�gen watched his father and brother walk out with Kelly, he quickened his pace to catch up, �Gods, that old man of mine can be quick when it is called for.�
An exterior door opened not far from the pens, warriors entered and scanned the occupants. The sixty people of various ages and sexes were deteriorating fast. The conditions on the ship were terrible it amazed the Yautja that the Dreitans themselves weren�t deathly ill, but you wouldn�t want to be injured by one though.
The warriors ushered the humans out to the Docking Bay and had them sit. As the warriors left they heard a female scream, �Terry, wake up, no don�t do this to me, don�t leave me.�
�How long should we wait Master Heldak?� The huge Yautja looked down at the smaller honored warrior, �Keep an eye on them Ug�han, their strength is waning fast, they are casualties of the situation. Have some young bloods assist you in moving them to the storage area, make sure the bodies are thoroughly cleaned and prepared.�.
The warrior bowed to the huge male and walked off as Heldak returned to the cargo bay. He scanned their vital signs and all of them had succumbed to the effects of the atmosphere on the ship. He bowed his head to them in respect. As no Yautja hand was lifted to cause their demise no codes had been broken.
I hope you can understand it, it�s a bit all over the place in parts. It�s hard to do things from two points of view. We know most of the major preds characters but the humans have to have what they are seeing and their point of view put over too, Man it�s hard.
I hope it wasn�t too long, I know it was too long in arriving, but blame the silly season, I actually had more to put in but I�ve held it over to next chapter. I hope you enjoy.
