Chapter 11-
“What do you mean you’re leaving?” Leia asked.
“Exactly what I said. I have a mission to go on, and will be gone for a week, maybe more,” Vader calmly responded.
“And when were you planning on telling me this?” Leia asked sharply.
“Seeing as I just did, I would say now.”
Luke kept his smile of amusement to himself. If Leia wanted to test the waters, see how long Vader’s patience would last, then let her.
“You know, there is this thing. It’s called common courtesy. You could stand to learn some,” Leia continued.
“What are you, my mother?” Vader said exasperatedly.
“Not what. Who. And no, but I am your wife,” Leia said.
“I did tell you...”

“You just told me. The day before you leave,” Leia interrupted.
“I’m sorry it’s not on your time schedule.”
“Leia,” Luke said. Leia turned to look at him. “Leave him alone. At least he told you.”
“Thank you,” Vader mouthed behind Leia’s back.
“Fine. I have paperwork to do,” Leia said and left the kitchen.
“You owe me,” Luke said, standing up and looking at his father.
Vader nodded. “So where are you going?” Luke asked.
“Some Force-forsaken planet out in the middle of nowhere. Somehow they managed to get into the Republic, and then they decided to support the Empire,” Vader responded, as Leia once again entered, and sat down to start on her paperwork.
“You must have zero experience in dealing with women,” Leia said, looking at Vader. “Because if you did, you would realize that they like to be told things more than twelve hours before they happen.”
“Actually, I do have plenty of experience. But considering I just found out today, I couldn’t have told you before now, now could I?” Vader responded.
“Oh really? You have experience with women? Do you have any proof?”
“Your Honor, may I present Exhibit A,” Vader said, gesturing to Luke. “Happy?” he asked, with a smile.
“Luke isn’t proof. He could have been….” Leia paused and looked at Luke, who arched an eyebrow.
“…nevermind,” Leia finished.
“You have been informed that I am leaving tomorrow. Are there any questions, comments or complaints that you may have? No? Great. End of discussion.” Vader stated authoritatively.
“That man,” Leia mumbled exasperatedly as Vader left the room.

“How are you?” Luke asked.
“Bored. As annoying as Vader is, at least he is someone to talk to,” Leia answered, about four days after Vader had left.
“I’m here. You could talk to me,” Luke said.
“Hmm. We could talk about how much I love it when you look at me like that,” Leia mischievously said.
“Tell me,” Luke whispered as he drew Leia’s body to his. “Do you like it when I hold you?”
“Yes.”
“Do you like it when I kiss you?” Luke drew his nose along the side of her face and lovingly kissed her lips.
“Yes,” Leia said when Luke had broken the kiss.
Luke continued his questioning, touching individual parts of her body.
“Luke,” Leia breathed. “Don’t stop.”
Luke picked her up in his arms and carried her into the bedroom. Setting her down so she was standing on the floor, he kissed her lips passionately. Leia parted her mouth and Luke slipped his tongue inside. He moaned as Leia sucked on his tongue a little. Breaking their kiss, he drew his lips up her jawline to her ear.
