Disclaimer: I don�t own the idea of the predator. I am not making any money from this story. I am just exercising my gray matter. I have made up the names in this story and if they are similar to any others I apologise .

Authors Notes: The story is told by the main human character Tina and the main Predator character Sa�ilek, an Elder.

This story is an introduction to a few characters that will be appearing in my fic In the Heart of a Warrior. So look out for a chapter titled the Elders Ceremony (might be a bit away yet but doesn�t matter), anything else hasn�t popped into my head yet sorry. Hopefully when I get this story out of my head I�ll be fine. Fingers crossed peoples.

It�s a beautiful sunny day, unusually hot though. The type of day you just want to call in sick from work and go to the beach. But I�d better not seeing my husband Paul�s friend Chris is my boss.

I give my son Charlie a kiss as I drop him off at school. �See you later little man.� He blows me a kiss and I drive off. He has grown so quickly over the last few months. I just don�t know where the time has gone, it only seems like yesterday he was born and now he�s 10 years old.
As I park my car I notice that Chris�s car is nowhere in sight. I open up the Video Shop and see the delivery truck pull up. We are expecting a shipment of Videos and Video Discs. I begin to start up the computers as the delivery guy unloads.
I set about unpacking the movies when Chris walks in the door. He can be such an arsehole at times and I can tell by his current mood that today was not going to be the exception. He starts to rant and rave about me being late. Hello, I was here fifteen minutes earlier than needed, not to mention ten minutes before you. Gather you didn�t get any last night.

I unpack the stickers and the recommended price listing. I begin to take out the movies and put the stickers on them. As I finish the first box I hear the sound of breaking glass.

Getting up slowly I approach the area I hear it coming from. I hear a thud sound. �Chris is that you? Come on, what did you break this time?�

I turn into the next aisle and see��no Chris, nothing but broken glass and blood. �Great another thing for me to clean up, come on Chris, where are you?�

He was always dropping things but he was never so silly as too cut himself. I get the mop and bucket and clean everything up. �Oh well back to work.�
I finally make it to the P section. Boy is it starting to get boring, Piranha, Pitch Black, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pocahontas, Predator and Predator2.
I turn the movie around and checked out the movie details. �Invisible, Invincible and he�s in town with a few days to kill.�

It had a few pictures on the cover. �That looks like a cool dude. Wouldn�t it be great to meet one?�
I can hear the sound of breaking glass once more. �Come on Chris cut it out.�

All of a sudden I have the feeling someone is watching me. I hold up the ticket machine like it is a weapon. I look at it and shake my head. �What am I going to do price tag them to death?�

I must look a sight because I swear I can hear laughter, human sounding but also in a way not human. I swallow hard and look around the store to see a blurred shape. �Could have sworn I saw something move.�

I can hear a crackling sound behind me. I swing around and look at what was in front of me. I glance back at the movie cover, and then back to the creature in front of me.

I shake my head in a no motion but it is still there, making a soft growling noise as it looks me up and down. I rub my eyes but it is still there. �Some one pinch me. I�m going to regret saying that aren�t I?�

And you guessed it, I did. The creature reached forward and pinched me with its sharp black talon like fingernails. �Ouch hey, that hurt.�

At least I knew I wasn�t dreaming.

The creature removed a knife from somewhere and ran it across the top of my arm. I hear it, no him breathe deeply as he inhales the scent of my blood.
The creature�s form is definitely male. Athletic looking with a six-pack that would make even the most hardened gym junkie green with envy. He has green spotty skin and tube like hair, no dreadlocks is definitely a better description. Any thing else is just a guess. It has some sort of armor and a mask on.
He grabs my arm roughly and squeezes just below the cut. �Ahhhh. Stop it let go.�

He either doesn�t understand me or doesn�t care. He squeezes so hard the blood runs down over his fingers and onto the floor. I hear him inhale the scent of my blood once more and he groans almost as if it aroused him.
I feel like I�m on the verge of collapse as he lifts me off the ground. The creature slings me over his shoulder. Next thing I know it looks almost like being under a waterfall. I can feel his muscles move. Whatever he is, he is strong. I can now feel my vision going darker.
Sorry it's a short chapter they do get a bit longer, trust me.
