Author’s notes: I tried to upload this and the
upload didn't work, so if this is a double-post, I'll delete one of them. This
is my first PWP, and in fact my first fic that isn't general-audience (i.e.
publishable on FFN). It's also not meant to be canonical, so while it's not a
sillyfic or humor fic, please don't take it too seriously! I like Luke as a
character and I know Mara/Luke is canon, but I have an affinity for strange
pairings that would simply never happen outside of fanfic, and this is one of
them. Didn't see any Mara/Jacen fics so I figured I'd write one.
Title: Knight's Passage
Author: AlisonC the Eleventh Guard
Summary: The Solos are going out to see a play, but
Jacen is grounded, so Luke goes in his place and Mara stays back to make sure he
doesn't sneak out. But that doesn't mean that they can't still have a good
time...
Rating: NC-17
Pairing(s): Mara/Jacen
Feedback: Yes, please.
Characters: Primarily Mara and Jacen. Han, Leia,
Jaina, Anakin, Luke, and Chewbacca will appear very briefly.
Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars or any of its characters, and I don't
make any money from this. This fic for entertainment only and no copyright infringement is intended.
"Han! Do you have the tickets?" Leia asked for
the third time that evening.
"Yes, princess, I have them right here." Han
Solo showed six thin plastic cards to his wife, one at a time. "Six tickets to
Knight's Passage at the Centurion Theater. Are you almost ready to leave? It's
going to be packed, and I don't want to fight the mob."
"I'm ready. We're waiting for Anakin."
At that moment two of their three children -
their daughter Jaina and son Anakin - came in. Anakin was still combing his hair
and he managed to give Jaina a dirty look at the same time. "I did not
hog the mirror," he grouched as he frantically tried to get the last of his
hairs into place.
"Oh, hush - it's going to be so dark in the
theater that nobody is going to see you anyway." Jaina rolled her eyes. "And
we're going to be watching the play, not your hair."
"Both of you hush. We've got to get going,"
said Han. "Go get your brother and we'll be leaving as soon as Luke and Mara get
here."
Jacen, Jaina's twin brother, was in a bad mood,
and didn't say a word to his parents or either of his siblings as he walked into
the family room and sat down. He was grounded for a week, so he wasn't going to
the theater. Instead, he had to stay at home with Luke's wife Mara, who wasn't
feeling well and insisted that Luke go to the Centurion instead of her. But he
knew that it wasn't so that he could watch over her - the real reason was to
make sure that Jacen didn't go out somewhere while he was still grounded for
sneaking out the week before.
Less than a minute later, Luke and Mara came to
the front door, and Han and the rest of his family (with one exception) quickly
filed out. "I'm sorry to put this on you, Mara," said Leia. "If you're not
feeling up to-"
"I'm fine," Mara said. "I'm just a bit tired
and didn't sleep enough last night. Besides, you only have six tickets."
"Next time, we'll all go together," Leia told
her, and dropped the subject of Mara's illness. She knew that the other woman
didn't like to talk about it. "We won't be very late coming back."
Leia was the last one of the Solos to leave,
behind Chewbacca. Jacen watched Luke kiss Mara goodbye and then wave to Jacen
right before he closed the door behind him. Jacen sighed unhappily and resigned
himself to another evening stuck at home. At least I'm not going to have to
do chores, he thought, and C-3P0 is still at Uncle Luke's, waiting for
those replacement circuits to come in.
"Are you feeling any better?" he asked Mara.
"Well, a little bit," she said. She sat on a
lounge chair and pulled the yellow blanket throw around her. Nobody knew what
was wrong with her, but many people suffered her illness and she was the only
one who had survived thus far. Sometimes it made her weak and tired, and other
times she felt mostly all right, using the Force to battle the damage to her
body. "Don't worry about me; I'll be fine. Do you want me to get you something
to drink?"
Jacen shook his head to indicate no and he took
the matching one-seat chair next to the lounge. Mara watched him for a little
while, then leaned back. "I know you're mad about not getting to go and see
Knight's Passage," she said. "But really - I saw it last time the troupe was on
Coruscant, and you're not missing much."
"That's not the point," said Jacen. "I'm
sixteen, Aunt Mara. I'm a Jedi Knight myself! But my father still treats me like
I'm a child. I have to be home before midnight, I get grounded... and now I
can't even go out with the rest of the family? It's not as though he wouldn't be
able to watch me."
"I can't presume to know what's going on in
your father's mind," Mara told him. "I've told your mother more than once that
both you and Jaina possess a maturity and wisdom beyond your years."
"You're the only one who thinks that, then.
Maybe Uncle Luke, but he doesn't say much in my defense. Not even to his
sister."
"Luke can be quiet sometimes, yes. It's his way
- and I think you must get it from him." Mara had been a little bit frustrated
with that very thing lately - Luke's detachedness. He sometimes seemed to be
above emotion, feeling it only briefly before letting it go. The sense of wonder
at the world had gone out. He's world-weary, maybe. And I can understand
that, but...
It amazed her, at times, how much Luke and his
nephew were alike, but different. Both looked at the galaxy around them from the
viewpoint of a guardian, inside of it but not quite part of it. Both seemed most
in their element when they were able to clear their minds, focusing on the
threads that invisibly wove life together. However, Mara got the impression that
there was nothing in existence that could truly surprise Luke anymore, and that
more and more events fell under what he would consider mundane. Even with me
- it is like we are friends, and partners, but not much more, she thought.
He expressed to her very little worry over her weakness, and she didn't know how
much of that was respect for her desire to handle it on her own and how much of
it was him looking at her with a "what will be, will be" attitude. Where was
that quiet but very present fire that once burned for her in him?
She sighed and closed her eyes. "Are you all
right?" Jacen asked.
"Yes, I'm fine. Although, if you don't mind, I
might try to sleep a little while before your parents come back."
"Do you want me to sit with you?"
"No, you can go and meditate if you want to, or
whatever it is that you were going to do."
Jacen frowned at Mara, but he got out of his
seat. "Well... if you're sure."
Mara felt a little bit of annoyance at him, at
his apparent lack of confidence in her, but also thankfulness that he was
showing concern. Despite what it said about his thoughts of her abilities, it
was nice that someone cared enough to express his caring and take a genuine
interest in her well-being. "I am sure, but it seems that you aren't. I am quite
fine. But if it would make you feel better, you can stay and talk to me a bit."
She shifted around a little bit on the chaise, feeling the hard wooden back
press into her shoulder blades. "Actually... my muscles are a bit tense. Would
you give me a backrub? Just for a few minutes so I can relax and focus."
"Yeah, of course I would," said Jacen. Mara sat
up and pulled her shoes off. Then she turned around on the chaise, leaning
forward slightly. Jacen sat behind her and lightly put his hands on her
shoulders. He pressed his palms and thumbs into her flesh, just enough that she
would feel it. She really is tense, he thought, and started to rub out
the knots.
Mara smiled and felt some of the stiffness melt
away at his touch. His hands moved with a gentle precision that surprised her,
and it was a pleasant surprise. She reached back and pulled her red-gold hair
over her shoulders, and her fingers brushed against his wrist. She let out a
small sigh as the tightness in her neck loosened, but inexplicably, it seemed to
relocate itself to her belly. She took in a deep breath, filling her lungs, and
then exhaled slowly.
"What's the matter?" Jacen asked. He pulled
back suddenly.
Mara spun around to face him and she quickly
said, "Nothing... you didn't do anything wrong. I just have a lot on my mind."
She saw that Jacen's face was a little bit flushed, and she reached up to put
the back of her hand against his cheek.
And as her skin made such direct contact with
his, and her green eyes met his blue ones, she realized what it was that was
making her stomach twist. Her nephew - my husband's nephew, she reminded
herself - had indeed grown from a boy to a young man, and she couldn't deny to
herself that she did find him attractive. Such a thing wasn't supposed to
happen, even if it was natural. She drew her hand back and let her finger stroke
his lower lip. It wasn't dry and a little chapped the way Luke's lips usually
were...
She caught a motion out of the corner of her
eye, and saw Jacen suddenly tug on his belt loops. Her eyes followed the line of
his arm and she noticed a bulge in his olive-green trousers, the apparent source
of his discomfort. They were rather form-fitting to begin with, and now, in his
sitting position, his erection strained against the crotch seam.
Mara leaned forward and whispered, "I'm
sorry... I shouldn't have been staring at you like that." She inhaled and took
in the scent of imported amber-dust creme, just a trace of exotic spices.
"You've been getting into your father's shaving creme, haven't you?"
"I - I used some earlier," Jacen stammered.
Emotion was boiling off of him now. He managed
to control it on the surface, for the most part, but she saw in the way his eyes
darted around that he was fighting an internal battle, and the Force surrounded
him like a crackling cloud. While all her bedroom tricks did nothing more these
days than put a smile on Luke's face, she'd somehow managed to pull more of a
reaction from Jacen without even trying. "Kiss me," she said.
Jacen blinked twice, then briefly gave her a
peck on her cheek. Mara shook her head. "Jacen, don't tell me you've never
kissed a woman."
"Well... I have... but that's all..."
Mara touched her lips to his, softly, while her
left hand tugged on his upper arm to pull him closer, and her right hand slipped
around behind his head. She ran her fingers through his hair and kissed him
harder. At first she sensed confusion and apprehension coming from him, but then
they lessened and he took her into an embrace, both of his arms wrapped tightly
around her.
"Your heart's beating so fast," Mara said as
she laid her head down on his shoulder. There was no mistaking it now; he wanted
her, but still was holding back. She reached up to his neck and started
unbuttoning his jacket, feeling his warm skin and the hard muscles underneath as
she worked her way down to his waist. "I don't want to take advantage of my
position with you," she went on. "I'll stop if you want me to."
Jacen's eyes were fixed on her chest for
several moments before he managed to reply. "No... no, I don't want you to
stop."
"Good." Mara pulled his jacket off and threw it
over the arm of the chaise, then lifted her loose blue blouse over her head. She
tossed it aside and gently pushed him down onto the chaise lounge, so that he
was lying on his back, and leaned over him. She bent her elbows and lowered
herself a little, touching her nipple to his opened mouth. His eyes opened wide,
and he looked up at her while his tongue caressed the tip of her breast.
After a few minutes she sat up and unbuckled
her belt, then got up off the chaise to finish undressing. Mara pulled her black
pants down and let them fall to her ankles before gracefully stepping out of
them, and gave Jacen a naughty wink when she slid her fingers under the
waistband of her snug satin briefs and slipped the last of her clothes off.
"Your turn," she said, and sat on the edge of
the chaise. Jacen nodded eagerly and fumbled with his own belt. Mara noticed
that his hands were shaking, so she squeezed them gently and then helped him
unfasten the buckle before she pulled the black leather strip out of its loops.
She pushed the button of his waistband through the buttonhole and pulled down
the short zipper below them. Jacen gave a sigh of relief as the pressure in his
groin suddenly released, no longer squeezed in by the tight fabric. She stopped
to kiss him again, and finally Jacen started to take the initiative and wriggle
out of his trousers.
Mara ran her hands up and down his sides, then
grabbed his shorts and yanked them towards his knees. He kicked them the rest of
the way off and then lay back. His chest rose and fell and he was waiting for
her to make a move, to say or do something.
She rubbed the inside of his thigh and moved
higher, until her fingers were wrapping around his stiffened cock. Jacen inhaled
sharply, and Mara straddled him again. She supported herself with one hand and
settled her body down on top of him. "How much do you want me?" she asked
softly. "Tell me, Jacen."
"Isn't it obvious?!" His voice came out
sounding a little bit strangled.
"Tell me."
He breathed twice before speaking again. "I
want you, right now. I want to go inside you and feel you close to me. I know
it's not-"
Mara put a finger to Jacen's lips to silence
him. "Shh," she said, and shifted her weight, pulling her hips away from his.
She reached back down and carefully brought the swollen head of his penis closer
and closer to her, drawing out the motion as long as she could. Then it was
touching the the opening of her pussy, which was warm and damp - no, not just
damp, but wet. She felt the slickness as she gave her clitoris a few small
strokes, and then she was more than ready. She relaxed her pelvis muscles as
much as she could and shifted down. A sigh escaped her lips as she felt his
erection filling her, stretching her soft flesh just enough.
Jacen moaned and grabbed her waist. She leaned
down to give him a few gentle kisses on his neck, and then pulled her hips back,
sliding away until their bodies were almost but not quite separated. He tried to
draw her back forward, and she paused for only a few seconds before pushing
forward again. His length was nothing remarkable, but as for width - perfect,
Mara thought, pushing away the remaining bit of guilt at comparison.
For several minutes she rode him, thrusting
away the last traces of his nervousness as the heat of pleasure washed over him.
Jacen started to gasp for breath and push forward in time with Mara, to increase
the speed of each impact. It was almost too much for him, with the sensation of
pleasantly burning fire sweeping through his groin and he knew that there was no
escape from the heat except to push through it and reach the end.
It took over, and he clutched her shoulders.
"Mara... oh, Mara..." he cried out.
"Not yet," she breathed. "Hold it back - baby -
another minute - almost there."
I can't! he thought desperately, but he
would try. He strained against the mounting pressure inside him, even as she
took him in faster and faster until he could hear the sound of skin slapping
against skin just above his own ragged breaths.
Then Mara stopped, suddenly, with every
centimeter of of his shaft still held in her warm pussy. Her muscles began to
squeeze him softly, and that was all he could take. He felt his release and gave
in to it. His groan was cut off by her lips tenderly covering his, and he pulled
her down to him, chest to chest.
Mara lifted her head and looked down into
Jacen's eyes, half-closed with exhaustion and half-open with awe. "Well, how was
it?" she asked him with a gentle smile.
Jacen touched the side of Mara's face and
opened his mouth to speak, but no words would come out at first. "Force, Mara,"
he finally sighed. "Never felt anything like you in my life. If you're half as
worn as I am..."
She chuckled and finally untangled her body
from his. "Stop worrying about me," she said. "I'm fine. Much better now, thanks
to you."
Mara lay down next to Jacen and held him. What
happened between them would have to stay between them, of course, but she didn't
want to let him go quite yet. She still wanted his hard body close to her,
listening to the steady and deep breaths of a youth who had become a man in her
embrace.
Two hours later, the door swung wide open and
the Centurion-bound group returned. By this time, Mara and Jacen had dressed
again and were playing an innocent game of holochess. She looked up and smiled,
and said, "How was the play?"
"A fine performance of a lackluster script,"
Luke said. "I was impressed, I must say. I could take you next week, if you
wanted."
"It's a shame you didn't go with us," Leia
added. "I think you'd have enjoyed the drama quite a bit this time. We all did -
well, except for Jaina."
Jacen raised an eyebrow at his shrugging twin.
"What happened?" he asked.
Han sighed. "Well, you're both grounded, now.
Jaina got up to use the bathroom and when your mother went out to see what was
taking so long, she was lighting up a death stick outside the theater."
"I won't do it again," Jaina mumbled, her eyes
darting around to avoid looking at anyone directly. "I just had an urge for one,
that's all. I don't know what it was. Maybe I was allergic to something in the-"
Then her eyes widened and she immediately quieted.
"Don't expect to be doing anything for the next
week," Leia said, kindly but firmly. "And Mara, thank you for staying here
tonight."
"It was my pleasure," said Mara, and she stood
up to leave with Luke.
Jaina wandered in the general direction of the
main hallway, and as she passed by Mara, she whispered, "I'll bet it was. Your
belt is on upside down."
Mara froze in place, but Jaina just shook her
head and grinned, then put her hand to her mouth and made a motion like locking
a tumbler lock with an old-fashioned key, then of tossing the pretend key over
her shoulder. The true secret of the Knight's passage was safe.
