Disclaimer: I do not own the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
The following is the prologue in what
promises to be the continuing adventures of four main characters, including the
fictional character of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean
and the portrayal of Joe Byrne by Orlando Bloom in the film Ned Kelly. Having
written these characters with others and jointly for our own purposes for quite
some time, we were inspired one day to find out how they had met. This story is
the result.
At
times the stories may include references to historical details, and no offence
is intended to anybody connected with these real people for whom we have
enormous admiration.
If you have read either of our fan
fictions, Surprises or Visions of Joe, you should be forewarned that this is an
entirely different kettle of fish! This story, and
those that will follow, are entirely “AU” – alternate universe – and take place
in the modern day. We have felt free to bend time as it suited us, because we
can, and we hope that the final result justifies whatever liberties we’ve
taken.
It might be useful to think of these
stories as a glimpse into someone’s window rather than ringing the doorbell for
a proper introduction in the parlor. But
we hope you’ll think it was worthwhile climbing up on that old orange crate so
you could see in.
Those passages that are indented are
extracts from Eva’s journal. Those indented with ****’s are Kate’s flashbacks
Blue Magic and Nuit
+++++++
Eva glances back just for a second to
catch the look in Joe’s eyes, grinning like a madwoman. Then her face back
fully to the sun and the wind, she licks the salt from her lips while her hair whips his skin. Eva can feel Joes’ hands tighten
around her hips as the ship rides the swell of the sea; he has no intention of
letting her go- there is no space to speak of, but turn she does, her head
tipped back and arms outstretched to feel the streams of air through her
fingers, Joe’s kisses on her neck stealing her breath away, all salt and wild
and waves of desire.
If she could hear anything at all
above the wind in her ears, it would have been the sound of Jack’s joyful
laughter at her taking such delight in his ship.
“Would make for an interesting
sculpture at the front of the boat,” said Jack tracing the lines of Joe and Eva
from across the expanse of deck.
Kate grins,”A change from the requisite mermaid that’s for
sure.”
Opening her eyes, Eva squints to see
Kate and Jack on the bridge, his hands dancing over the bare skin of her
shoulders as she holds the wheel, the breeze catching the folds of white cloth
exposing outlines of the form of his body just tantalizing below.
Overhead the Pearl’s sails snap and
whisper at the wind’s whim while Jack’s mouth and braids brush against her
sun-warmed skin.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sun had been at their backs in the
morning, but with afternoon it was high and bright in the western sky and
certainly well over the yard arm and up in the British
Isles or whatever – certainly a respectable time for a drink. Mind
you being a pirate ship, respectable decidedly the wrong word and decidedly
always time for a drink…So relaxing to be somewhere where lounging about and
drinking was considered the most reasonable possible way to spend one’s
time. With the occasional bit of
gambling and fornication thrown in for good measure.
Glasses clinked with icy tall rum
punches – Jack had scoffed at that when first they met, ‘what did the poor rum
ever do to you’, but now had to admit it was not all bad – particularly with
the right company sprawled against you and hands that never stopped questing
for skin.
Joe’s eyes narrowed in thought. “So it’s rather a different landscape and
all…but if I’ve got it right we’re heading North and West. The maps not quite
straight in me head out here but I’m wondering where we’re headed, if you’ve a
spot in mind then.”
“You’re a dab hand at navigation mate,
land or sea,” and Kate smiles at Eva beaming with pride, “quite right on course
and in fact I do have rather an old haunt in mind….”
Eva almost spills both
her and Joe’s drinks, sitting bolt upright. “Tortuga?!?!
Is that where you mean? But what’s there now Jack – hang on…..” She scampers
away leaving them all hanging, Jack just nodding his head to agree that was
what he had in mind. A whirlwind of cloth and she is back on deck, delving into
a huge sparkly bag. “I got just the thing..will be with you in a moment…” more
rummaging
“Ah fuck it” and she starts pulling
things out- sunglasses, some lipsticks, books and notepads, a tin “ah wondered
where that went..will have some of that later...”
“If only I had known of your bag
earlier, luv- would have had no occasion to visit the Isla de Muerta –
doubtless we could have stored the entire cache from the Caribbean
right there- the whole course of history could have been so different…”
Eva rolls her eyes at him. “Funny Jack, mind you got some treasure you
want to store I am sure I can find a space…” - a little grin and she goes back
to searching.
“AH! Here you go..’TORTUGA- a Visitors Guide” She opens up the glossy
brochure, beautiful white beaches and palms “Here you go- says the best
snorkeling for miles around.”
The sound Jack makes is somewhere
between a snort and a laugh- either or neither of which sound like the sort of
noise the tourist board were looking for.
Eva looks at him, her eyebrows
raised...”to continue...bountiful fish, coral reefs, swimming...sounds lovely-
and you can rent these beach huts..”
Jack laughs so hard he is near to
tears and seeing the somewhat stricken look on his enthusiastic friend’s face,
reaches across their small circle to pull her mouth to his and give her a kiss
worthy of her enthusiasm, Joe cocking an eyebrow at Kate as she whistles a meandering
tune waiting to see what comes next
“Right then,” pronounces Jack, licking
his lips slightly, “now as you’re reassured of my undying affection, let me
just say, Eva luv, that the place you describe is most unrecognizable to yours
truly. But perhaps I might compose
something more appropriate for the Tortuga I
have frequented. Welcome to the finest
hellhole in the Caribbean where no glass is
ever empty and no man ever unwanted – unless he’s got no coins in his pocket to
pay the tart what he’s got a mind to want.
Visit the Frog’s End where the drink is guaranteed to rot your belly
quicker than barnacles on an old keel.
Whilst strolling our malodorous streets, be certain to stop in at The
Faithful Bride for a half-decent rum, - though I must advise you I use the word
decent advisedly – and the best suck in town.
For those of you with more prurient predilections….”
Eva is just recovering her composure
while Joe and Kate splutter their drinks.
“Ah well Jack it is a pity I am sure
that the whole place is turned to sand and people intent on snorkels rather
than cocks into their mouths, still I reckon we could relive old traditions-
you know like those guys who reenact the battle of Trafalgar and all that -
dress the part - those gowns that kind of offer everything up.” She is just
kidding but it appears to have caught a thought in his mind, his eyes sliding
down Katherine’s throat and hovering where the cream of her skin just changes
to tan.
“That’s quite an interesting
proposition, luv…quite an interesting proposition indeed…” and they all look at
him rather quizzically as if he must be kidding, thought maybe one of those
dress up photos might be fun…but there doesn’t seem to be anything like it on
offer according to Eva’s brochure. Oh well, the one things Kate is certain of
is that it will be full of surprises.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Honey, what is all this stuff? You planning on being marooned or something?”
she asks Eva.
“Not funny, luv. Big fish with pointy teeth ha ha ha…”
“Alright sorry…but still, there is a
ton of stuff in there…could keep me entertained for days…Oh! Especially
this! ‘JOURNAL,’ it says and I am ignoring the pink sparkly
material that lacks a certain gravitas, I’m still sure the contents are dishy –
like eating an oyster. You just have to get past first impressions…”
“Bloody hell, I’d forgotten that was
in here.”
“Jack, I think this is going to require more rum” Eva looks across at Joe and
smiles with reminiscence; ‘a lot more rum’ she thinks.
“Well what is it lass? I’ve not see
that before now” Joe reaching to take the book from Kate a smile and a frown
all at the same time.
“Uh..no- hands off Joseph..that might be one of the only times you hear me say that…”a
wink “shall I read a little Eva?” she is already flicking through the rather
crumpled pages, her eyes caught by something that makes her smile “but better
start at the beginning huh?”
You can almost hear Eva’s brain
whirring- trying to remember exactly what she wrote, the occasional flash of a
grimace and a sideways look at Joe. She
screws her eyes up, takes a drink, “oh go on then..i
think.”
Kate nestles herself back into Jack
and opens the first page, his legs forming perfect armrests and his body, well
perfect anything really. Eva’s
handwriting scrawls across the paper and there are endless streams of cascading
doodles down the edges, a deep breath then..
It had been the sort of week you
couldn’t wait to see the back of- not that I had anything worth looking forward
to at the weekend- lack of money, and a pile of washing the size of a small
mountain range putting paid to anything extravagant. Well I had a load of books
to read- daydreaming seeming to have become an all encompassing pastime- though
maybe not one for the CV
Hobbies and Interests: Living in a
fantasy world where there is never any washing, something exciting is always
just about to happen and where men are hot and desperate for my attentions.’
Jack and Joe seem to find this
considerably more amusing than it had felt to write it, and especially so now
that she is blushing red. “Hmm and this
is only the first paragraph- I am not so sure!”
“Ah well now Eva lass since your wish
came surely there’s no harm in it..and now I think I
know which particular chapter of your life this is a record of, I am more then
willing to let you lavish desperate attentions.” Joe just smiling from ear to
ear, despite the nudge in his ribs.
“Ok then pour me another then Jack.”
Not
that I hadn’t had boyfriends since I got here, indeed a couple of them were
sitting across the desks from me right then- but the boredom of work was barely
even dented by them. What I wanted was a man with a huge fucking hammer and the
knowledge of how to use it.
Kate is laughing hard too now, while
Eva squirms and reaches to retrieve her journal giggling a bit herself it has
to be said, a hand sliding down Joe’s leg.
“Jeez I must have wished on a star
then…”
Half past 2 on a Friday afternoon
and the bank was full of shopkeepers depositing the weekly takings,
necessitating charming smiles and thank you’s when what I really wanted to do
was scream ‘I AM SO BORED!!’
Actually that was quite a good
little fantasy in itself- doing just that and sending piles of coins and pens
and papers flying...seeing Mr. Woodward scrabbling after the pennies that made
up the banks profits
“Ah so now let me get this right luv-
your protestant work ethic a little less than that required to secure a
meteoric rise through the ranks of bank clerkdom, a career to which, however,
on second thoughts I don’t think you to be entirely suited..”
“Be better off in the Faithful Bride?
Is that what you are trying to say, Jack?” A howl of laughter. “But yes.. .and the
fact that I don’t happen to be a man...anyhow glad to have been of some amusement- perhaps we can make a night
of this though? What do you say? Crack open another bottle and spill- not the
rum of course…”
“As a matter of fact, I worked in a
bank for about 5 months during school. The worst job I ever had. 99% sheer
boredom and 1% sheer terror when you had to prove out at the end of the day and
didn’t know if you’d have the right amount of money. God I hated it.”
“Of all the things you two have in
common I must say I’d not have expected that,” remarks Joe.
“You just needed Joe or I, luv. Then
we’d have had all the money, and your work day would have been done. Nice and
tidy.”
“Well I did get him as it happens..shortly afterwards, and he had all the money too.”
Joe is looking at her like the first
time he ever saw her. “Aye lass – I remember it all now- read some more.”
Coming back from
the bathroom for the fifth time that afternoon, just for something to do- sure
my hair needed combing or something- anything- I frowned a bit..Either Mr Woodward had flipped and taken pity on us by
shutting up shop early on a Friday, or there was one of those minutes silence
things going on that had been mentioned in the oh so interesting staff bulletin
I had neglected to read
'I was just about
to push open the door that led back into the bank when it disappeared from my
grasp. A click and I looked up to see a gun pointed straight at me ''Holy
Shit...don't shoot me! I just work here..'' I was about to put my hands up or something daft like
that, not having a white flag to hand, but instead I just looked at him. he didn't look the sort of man who would shoot an unarmed
woman, not that I have a huge experience in these matters just an unhealthy
interest in westerns which it appeared had finally paid off. he
looked more of a Clint Eastwood than a Lee van Cleef, although there was that
one where Clint Eastwood turned bad..but I digress
Joe laughs,
“that was Dan- sure he’d have been pleased to have
been that fella in your mind.”
Eva grins.
“Ah he was a lovely lad Joe, never make it as a
bad-ass bank robber, those Irish eyes and all.”
"Are you
robbing the bank?" I did try to sound horrified honestly, but since I
figured if he was going to shoot me he probably would have done so already and
frankly anything was better than carrying on with the Accounts as I so
unaffectionately called them, it may have come out a bit more like 'come here
often?'
Jack and
Kate explode into a peal of laughter.
“As if you would have said that Eva..can’t
imagine that for a minute.”
“Yeah yeah”
she is rolling her eyes, “well you hang on just one more minute and you can
imagine me practically lying down on the bank counter there and then.”
Which does little to quieten them down really.
"Well what if
we are?"- ah- there was an accent I hadn't heard
for a while "will you come inside and sit with the others now". He
indicated I should go to where the white faced Mr Woodward was rather glumly
surrounded by a bevy of 'assistant managers' who were doing their best to
outshine each other in the outraged expression competition'
As I walked across
the bank hall I could see another man by the door, his pistol ready to
challenge any new customers who might arrive, and the backs of 2 other men who
were hovering over Mr Woodward’s desk, stuffing notes into white cash bags. One
of them with the sort of hair that looked like there had been a barber strike
for some time and the other- tall and lean and well since I am on the subject
of hair, with unruly brown curls, some of which seemed determined to hide in
the collar of his jacket. I was already
thinking about how it might feel to coax some of them out with my fingers to
tell the truth. In no hurry to squeeze in between the thighs of men who could
hardly get a rise in the most red blooded woman, my
progress over the hall was rather slow.
..Christ hadn’t
seen a man looking this good for some time, even if it was only the back of
him. The cloth of his rough jacket pulled by the flexing of muscles underneath
as he stretched for the money, just glimpses of his hands and the flash of a
ring, and I was just about at the angle to see his profile when he spoke
‘Will you look at all this Ned- we will be
needing some more bags’ turning just at the same time as I looked up to his
face- a catch somewhere in the middle and I thought I might have been shot by
an invisible soundless bullet, maybe that other chap was Lee van Cleef after
all. He was just fucking gorgeous. Angles in his face that you could spent
hours measuring, the thin line of a beard that was begging for some fingers to
trace along and just keep going into those curls, or that mouth, depending on
which direction you were headed- either of which looked just as appealing.
And well I
couldn’t help myself, my eyes flicking down over his body, curious clothes
really but they looked shit hot all the same, all buttoned up and layers of
them, shirt, waistcoat, jacket- like in those black
and white photos with men standing all respectable next to the fireplace, only
he looked about as respectable as my thoughts. ‘Get a grip will you – this man
is robbing the bank’ being thrown out in favour of something far more
disreputable - ‘wonder if he looks as good naked?’ about covering the main
points.
I really couldn’t move and the worst thing was
he knew it too, leaning back against the table to look at me a grin on the side
of his mouth, those hungry smoky eyes that I could almost feel under my clothes
already’
Eva takes a
breath and looks up at Joe. “Christ- I tell you I nearly fainted there and
then, come to think of it feeling much the same now...” Joe’s little kisses and
suckles along the curve of her neck and his arms around her waist, hands
sliding under her t-shirt over the bare skin of her stomach doing little to
improve her clear-headedness.
“Somehow,
Eva luv, it takes little imagination to imagine you swooning over him right
there in the lobby – despite you normally being a paragon of self-restraint and
demeur….”
“And you of
course so famous for your self-restraint, Jack” she mutters when she has her
breath back, wiggling a bit against Joe and causing a soft moan from him. “I’m
sure you were completely unaffected when you first met Kate…kept her at arm’s
length for sometime then, did you?”
“Not the
length I’m betting on,” said Joe softly eliciting more laughter and Kate
tossing an ice cube in his general direction.
“You mean
you’ve really never heard the story? Well there are perhaps some similarities
it will I am certain shock you to hear…. I was
attempting to reacquire some missing personal effects….”
“Aye that’s
what all those bank notes were then Eva – missing personal effects...”
“Someone
else’s personal effects….all those boring, boring customers I had to smile at –
much better off in your hands – someone I actually wanted to smile at.” She
does favor him with quite a smile and his hands slide up a bit further making
her gasp…
“That would
be the effects or you in my hands then?”
Aware he is
about to lose his audience, Jack just nips at Kate’s ear before starting in
with, “It was on the island
of Guadeloupe.”
“Hmmm, what?”
“Guadeloupe, he says” Joe murmurs in her ear.
“Oh – oh
okay…I really do want to hear this story,” she sits up a bit straighter and Joe
reaches for his drink instead, to give her at least a hope of concentrating.
“It had
come to my attention that a number of my personal effects, which I hadn’t seen
for many years, were now to be ‘on display” at some new museum in Point a Pitre
– that’s the capital. Lovely, lovely island Guadeloupe…fantastic food, gorgeous
women, excellent pirate hideout in its day….regardless, it seems that over the
years, as I was prevented from returning there, certain of my possessions had
gotten ensconced in the wall of a house, undoubtedly placed there by the
mistress of said house who had not want them to be discovered by her brothers who
would have looked to hang me if not shoot me themselves….”
“Why is there always a woman and a house?” mused Kate.
“Well the
important point here, luv, is that they brought us together, did they not?”
“Fair
enough,” she replied, tipping her head back to kiss his throat, “that is one
former mistress who’s soul I have blessed many times…”
“And what
were you doing there, Kate, I thought you were in France, with that dishy Michel?”
That earns her a rare scowl from Jack and a small harrumphing noise from Joe.
“Well
technically speaking I was in France
– unlike a lot of other islands, Guadeloupe is still a department of France
and I was “on loan” sort of from the Sorbonne to the Department to help them get these
collections in order and open up their museum.”
“Makes it
sound like she was in charge of unloading the packing crates or something,”
Jack looks at her chagrined, “when in fact she was the star of the show.” Kate
shifts a bit uncomfortably but she can’t argue with the results.
****“Who the hell are you and who hired you without my
permission?” She wasn’t really looking at him. She was too busy
with her notes and her clipboard and check lists- all she knew was she had a man in
costume standing in front of her whom she had not ordered and she should most
likely send him back. Costume…damn she had to admit that was some costume.
“This is really quite an impressive reproduction though…”she said threading her
fingers through a button on his jacket.” I could almost swear ….”
“I assure you, luv, everything before you is quite the genuine
article…and if you intend on handling my personal effects, I shall be only too
pleased to make some recommendations.”
She laughed in spite of herself. “Ok, you are good, I’ll give you
that. Very…swashbuckly and all and a really great costume… but I still want to
know - ”
“Kate, two minutes.”
“Damn. Alright, I don’t have time for this now. Sit in the back row,
do not disrupt my lecture and don’t talk to the patrons until you talk to me
first.” She turned to head up to the podium but then her conscience got the
better of her and she turned back to him, though still not with her full
attention. “Look whoever you are, I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m the captain
of this ship and its on my head whether this thing
floats or not. So just…sorry but I have to go.”
He grabbed hold of her hand – ‘wow, tar and everything” she thought
– ‘really got the details down’ and brought it to his lips and she finally
looked him in the eye and it was like the movies where everything else went out
of focus and he was the only thing she could see ****
‘Katherine,
luv..are you still with us?’
She shakes
her head a little to bring herself back and reaches to his face to pull his
mouth to hers, seeking to remind him too of exactly how it felt, that very
first headlong dive into aching desire that it seems has never become any less-
never felt any less than complete abandon, the strings on the safety net
severed with one swipe of his blade. And it is all there for Joe and Eva to
see, how quick they can get lost in each other- kissing deeper, his hands
unable to stop themselves skirting over her breasts, an audible whimper and Eva
coughs loudly.
It is Jack’s turn to be a little less than
focussed- this is turning out to be a most promising and intriguing pursuit ‘I
felt that so clearly you must still be with us, a whole body experience it has
to be said, but what pray is in that head?’ his fingers circle her temples, and
the line of her cheek, he is clearly as intrigued as Joe and Eva.
“Oh come on
Kate..tell us how you captured a pirates heart…” Eva
and Joe are sitting forward now, his arms encompassing her, but all ears and eyes .
“I think
Eva- I will leave that to him…”
Jack
squints a little at Kate, he has no intention of letting her get off so
lightly, he is about to say something
but retreats to consider his options, well either that or his whole body
experience is still taking his attention- “I propose a little more from you Eva
luv- while negotiations take place.”
Eva smiles,
“Alright then but you got to promise to spill Jack..”
A nod of acquiescence and she picks up her journal again, flicking to find
where she was..a smile. “This is him..as
if you’d miss the cocky bugger”:
‘Well now you look
like the sort of girl who knows her way around’
I swear I didn’t know
whether to grin like an idiot or take him to task ‘Girl?’ jeez what century did
he think it was? But since he was the one with the pistol and by far the most
dangerous eyes in the whole place, I thought I might leave the linguistic
debate for another time- listen to me-
already planning our second date, ‘trip to the movies and a bite to eat..nah how about we go rob another bank..?’
‘
Only I
could do with some help here..only if you are willing
naturally’
His eyes just direct
and catching every last drop of teasing implication he could take from me. A
wince and I wished he’s at least make some pretence of me being coerced- Mr
Woodward was watching my every move, no doubt right at this moment giving
careful consideration to my future employment.
And then if he could get any better he just did- a flash of recognition
and his hand went to his holster, one finger circling the trigger, just enough for Mr
Woodward and more than enough to finish me off for good.
‘What do you need?’ escaping from me lips in a
surprisingly satisfactory drawl
‘Joe’ the man with
the hair was sort of smiling ‘if I could interrupt for just one minute- unless
you want to be sharing a meal on a tin plate with the lass…you better go with
her get some more bags and then we will leave these good people to enjoy the
rest of their Friday’
A nod and a kind
of a lazy sweep of his eyes that just bled the sort of arrogance that made the
hairs on the back of my neck stand up
Joe is
laughing now, well a mixture really of laughing and memories of the sweet ache
that he felt in that bank all over again, his mouth just inches from her and
begging to taste.
“Quite a
haul we made off with that day” a stroke of his finger over her lips.
Kate is
intrigued “what were you thinking Joe, I mean you were in their to rob the bank
right..the coppers could have come in at any time?”
Jack throws
his head back “Loot coming in many forms, I think Luv that you can see exactly
what he was thinking, by the look of him at this precise moment.” the air being
thick with pure heavy desire, Jack’s legendary and in many instances life
saving ability to judge exactly another man’s thoughts, motivations and next
moves not entirely necessary in this instance [What would you say to ending this
sentence with desire?]
Joe grins
and looks back at Kate.
“Aye well
that’s true enough but Steve was guarding the door and it was just one of those
quiet places, yer know? Plenty of fights an all on a Saturday night and some
neighbourly disputes over whose sheep was whose, but if you’d told the copper
the bank was being robbed he ha more likely locked you up for wasting what
counts as his valuable time.”
The scorn
on his face not even in hiding “anyhow Lass we had guns” Eva is jolted a little
out of her ‘oh so sweet’ revelries - a spike of their reality.
Feeling her
tense Joe leans to kiss her face, soft again.
“Ah but I
am missing the best bit. you bending down to get them
bags for me..” Joe’s hands seeking emphasis to the point he is making, a groan
from Eva that has him smiling…
“So well anyhow she led me off down some
corridor, a store room or something, couldn’t have found me way back for the
love of God, since me eyes were elsewhere. Anyways when we got there it was
just some little cupboard where they keep paper and pens and all that and on
the bottom shelf those white bags we needed…Christ you know I could’ve taken
her right there and then but I knew we’d be short of a gun in the bank hall.”
Eva gasps-
“Joe Byrne…”
“Ah don’t
give me that shocked look now Lass- I can see it, no I can feel it to this day,
you were giving off enough sparks to light up the whole of Sydney. Any how as I
recall I had to content meself with making it a little more difficult for you
to get out of the cupboard than it should have been.”
Jack is
grinning all over his face, Eva pink but
mostly with the flush of remembering how she had been tingling, her eyes
meeting Kate’s a kind of ‘well what could I do?’ look.
”Well then
we had to pack the bags up and get out of there as fast as we could- there being no point in pushing our luck. And she knew it
too, so she helped us-
and stuffed those bags with notes as fast as I was. I was
watching her all the while wondering if she would walk out with me.”
Eva laughs
out loud “Maybe you should have asked me Joe..”
Kate smiles
at both of them and says to Eva, “So you too were led into a life of crime
within hours of meeting him.”
“Well…” Eva
begins but Jack interrupts her.
“Now you’re
exaggerating there, Katherine, it was weeks and weeks before ….but it seems to
me we’re getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Now where was I….Right.
I had a perfectly good plan. Having found out about said effects and further,
that there was to be a great high toned and fancy to-do that evening, I had
thought to take advantage of the party as a diversion, find my way into their
exhibit, slip in quick as you please, recover my property and sail on the
evening tide.”
“And I take
it things didn’t go exactly as you planned…had a magical encounter instead?”
Eva twinkled at him.
“I did
indeed. No sooner had I looked in the window then I set eyes upon this fury of
a woman who was in turn sipping champagne and smiling at wealthy patrons and
then issuing orders to a bustling crew. I tell you mates, you think she is
Attila with a backyard party to plan, you should see her with a museum to
open.” ‘She’ poked him in the ribs and
he went on. “She was magnificent. And could put many a lesser
pirate captain to shame with that commanding nature. But what it was
packaged in! Christ, I’d never seen it’s like and that
is saying something….”
“Mmmm I
have to say every woman should be fortunate enough to meet the man of her
dreams wearing a dress that looks like that – think Oscars, Eva – and a
gorgeous ruby and diamond necklace that I got from the dishy ‘he who must not
be named’” she winked at Eva “before we broke up that I never gave back because
really, that would just be rude…sorry, I ‘m going off there….”
“Well the
dress is most certainly germane. If I may, luv” and without waiting for an
answer tugged her top down about an inch and a half so that it would barely
keep her from getting arrested. “Cut about down to there – looking as if, if
you breathed heavily on it – which I most certainly was soon enough – those
little straps would tumble down her arms and make all your dreams come true. And in the back, naked as you could wish for all the way to here,”
his fingers somewhere near the bottom of her spine. “Suddenly I was a
lot less interested about getting inside me old coat, and a lot more interested
in getting inside that dress.”
“I was
doomed,” said Kate looking as if she had somehow managed to bear up regardless.
“I may have
done rather too fine a job here recreating the moment in fact…” Jacks hands
sliding down from her shoulders so that his fingers just tickled where fabric
met skin and the effect was all too obvious on them both.
“Ahem” Kate
managed, leaning forward a bit which did little to deter his attentions and he
was now kissing the back of her neck which would soon be the death toll to
going on with the story.
“I can’t
talk with you doing that.”
“I don’t
care,” he said, turning her toward him so he could kiss her
the way he really wanted to now and she made a little yelp of surprise
and then no sound except breath and a hum of desire.
“Wait,” she
gasped. We can’t leave them hanging there –“
“But you
can leave me hanging – well in point of fact, decidedly not hanging here?”
She ran her
hand from his face all the way down his body to the floor, enjoying the feel of
his shudder under her touch and back in control – just for the moment. “But we
already know how this part of the story is going to end. Anticipation,
remember?”
“And they
say I am the wicked one,” he bites her neck softly and moves her to sit next to
him if there is to be a prayer of going on.

This abuse control system is run in accordance with the strict guidelines specified above.
