They ran as fast as their feet could take them. Their shortened breaths could be heard a mile away. The snapping of twigs and crunching of dead leaves were painfully clear in the silent night as their sneakers slammed onto the ground and pushed them onward another step.
Not too far behind them, a gigantic man followed, walking slowly as if he wasn't worried about being out ran.
The pale moonlight washed over the stalker. A dirty, scruffed up hockey mask was strapped over his face, only a green eye visible through the right eyehole. Clenched in his right fist was a machete, its smooth and sharp blade gleaming under the full moon.
His clothes were bulky and filthy and ragged. His massive black boots flattened leaves and sticks as he walked, a soft thump piercing the air like needles with each heavy step.
"C'mon, Cassie!" cried the dark-haired boy as he yanked the girl with braided dark hair up to his side. She gasped when she failed to see the uprooted tree root and her foot caught it.
"Oh!" she cried as she fell hard to the ground. "David!" Tears streamed down her pale face as she reached up to grab a hold of her boyfriend's hand.
He jerked heck uck up on her feet and looked over her shoulder, searching for their stalker. But all he saw were trees, vines, and grass, all bathed in the silvery light.
"W-where is he, David?" Cassie whispered with wide eyes. He pulled her closer to him and looked frantically around them. No one was in sight.
"I don't know," he said, his voice bolder but still cautious. Cassie slowly pushed herself from David. She pressed her hands against her chest and narrowed her eyes, trying to see in the dark spots of the forest.
"Maybe he stopped chasing us?" she suggested, hope laced thickly in her voice. David narrowed his eyes as well, still very wary.
"Maybe, but I think we should keep going just in case-" His voice suddenly cut off and the sickening sound of sliced flesh seemed to hang in the air. Cassie clenched her hands together, her eyes widening.
"D- David?" she called, refusin tur turn around. Silence was her only answer. Tears again began forming in her terrified eyes. A wet schiiiing sound reached her ears, followed by a heavy thud, like a sack of potatoes was just dropped.
"Oh no, oh no, oh no," she chanted frantically. She wanted to run, she wanted to run and scream for help, but her body was numb. She couldn't move a single muscle, not even her fingers.
Slow, heavy footsteps and the crunching of nature's litter drew closer to her until she felt the brush of cloth against her back.
She couust ust barely hear the soft breathing of the kill and could smell his strong musty odor. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the glint of a long blade rise up, ruby-red blood dripping from it. David's blood.
Feeling filled her body again and she was able to move and speak.
"No . . . NO!!" she screamed. She made a pose to run, but only got one step away before large gloved fingers grabbed the back of her head and prevented her escape.
"No, please! PLEASE! Let me go, please! Just leave me alone," she sobbed, struggling to free herself but to no prevail. The hand moved and roughly gripped her chin and jerked it up, baring her neck.
Cool steel, wet and slightly warm from fresh blood, pressed against her throat, and in that instance she felt a moment's pain before the world fell into darkness and her body went limp.
Jason effortlessly sliced his machete across the teenager's neck, cutting it open, and silencing her irritating pleas for mercy. He released her chin and watched her drop intooneloneless-like heap at his feet.
He looked up into the night's sky. It was dotted with tiny white specs and a large silvery orb that shun down on him. Sheathing his stained blade, the Ex-Camp Crystal Lake Killer turned away from his first two victims on Earth 2, and walked back into the forest, the shadows engulfing his body.
He was now known as the Camp Emerald Lake Killer.

Wee! My first Jason fic! ^^ I love Jason. He rocks! Basically, like in the summary, this just take's place after Jason X on Earth 2. Granted, he looks like the Jason from Freddy vs. Jason. ^^ Well, he's sexy in both, so yeah.
Camp Emerald Lake . . . hmm, isn't that original? -.-
I'll update when I can! Till, then I hope you enjoyed this. *grabs her Jason action figure and makes him cut her Freddy action figure's head off*
YEAH! Jason wins! Jason ALWAYS wins! >D
