Indeed a dramatic and violent description how Hector could have lost his leg. Very good written and all actors are in character. Because i´m an Elizabeth / Barbossa fanatic, i hope to read more about that relationship, please update soon !

Wow! What a fantastic start! You've captured Barbossa beautifully. :) Your descriptions of the mermaid, of the surroundings, of Hector's terribly injury, are all evocative enough that I can see it all in mind's eye. Love it to bits, sure hope to read more soon.
