For some reason I really liked this story. It was such a nice surprise: I expected to laugh at emo fluff but found a witty piece of angst with the possibility of a happy end. Dear author, thank you.
The idea of Joker tattoing himself appeals to me. It just fits to the character, at least to TDK Joker. I wonder if criminals in the states have a tradition of making tattoos for in my country they do.
