Wow--what an exciting way to start a story! I can tell there's a great plot in the works. And the interior monologues--one of my absolutely favorite devices--are used quite well here. On to Chapter 2!

The plot continues to intrigue! I love that there's the continuity with Jack and Ennis that we expect, yet all these mystery characters seem to show up. Can't wait to find out what Jeff's story is! A very good read ...
P.S. I'm with the first reviewer in being more critical about the grammar and spelling. I happen to like your plot, think the interior monologues work, and don't have a problem with the dialogue, but the missing apostrophes, misspellings, etc., do affect the fluency.
