I love your story. You did a great job with your development of Mercy. I was a little surprised that she was so passive in Chpt. Two since she came on so hard when she first met Warren, but I guess being stranded has that effect on a person. I hope there's more.

Miracles tend to be good things and I don't think that this particular case follows such.
Try "mysteriously", it would be correct for this instance.
