beautiful story. you know, sometimes, i wish that hephaestion (the one in the stories of course) would quit denying himself the comfort of another lover. i really really really hate it when i think of alexander sleeping with bagoas (i do not care much for his wives because, well, he needs them) and that beautiful hephaestion is left all alone. i guess that is the purpose of cassander...i just wish that someone would write a story, with a beginning like yours, but end it in a way that hephaestion actually starts having some feelings for cassander...that would surely give alexander a nasty shock. *Sigh* anyways, i love your fic. keep writing more, this fandom seriously needs more stories ^_^

Wonderful story. Poor Hephaestion, jealous of little Bagoas. I love how you portrayed Cassander as the villain, (HA! Your name! XD) tasteful and not overly done like some have. ^_^ Another is in order! *hands her a cookie*

Loved this. The way you wrote Hephaistion's feelings, I could feel his pain myself.
