I really enjoyed this alternate universe. Great story, thank you for writing.

2 questions:

1) What is the relevance of "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" (by the way, "to" should be capitalized...)? I don't understand what it has to do with the story. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just curious.

2) Shall I mark this under the category of abandoned fics? Because it's been a while since you said you were going to "revamp" it, and it's been even longer since you said you were going to post the last chapter. You should at least post an update so all your readers know what the hell happened to this story!

Well, this latest chapter was good for what it was, though I must admit I was more than a little dissapointed that Vader fell in love with the girl. I was hoping that would be avoided in this story. I don't really like reading storied where Anakin or Vader falls in love with someone other than Padme. I am just a fan of that particular pairing. However, I think you did a wonderful job with progressing the relationship. It was never hurried or forced, and I applaud you for waiting nearly till the end for Vader to reveal his true feelings. In my mind though... Anakin will always end up with Padme.

P.S. I'm hoping for a sad ending ;-)

Awww...loved this chapter! So tender and sweet. I'm glad Anakin told her he loved her.

I think Vader/Anakin will always love Padme. However, even when you deeply love someone, when they are dead I think it is only natural to find love again. It won't be the same, and that new love does not replace the one you lost, but you can love again. Will he ever feel the same way about Ree that he did Padme? No. But he does love her, in a way that is different from what he felt for Padme. I would hate to think that if I lost my husband I would NEVER, EVER find someone to love again. And I think Padme would want him to have someone in his life. I hope so.

you are reworking the WHOLE STORY, but can we at least read the last chapter?
