Nice writing style and I liked your descriptions - detailed enough to get into the story, but not enough to bore. However, I'm getting the feeling that Alex is an self-insert character, and Maul is acting a bit OOC. I have to give you credit for BAMFing the characters to your OC instead of vice versa. At least it's something a bit different.
Still, I think it would be best to set the story on an original planet within the SW universe, or even a remote area on an existing planet in the canon, and have your original character be a local.
