Yet another few wonderful chapters! I hope you figure out how to connect this all to the end, lol! I know how hard that can be sometimes...
Ooh, and I just love how Jack's wondering how to get Anna out of this mess. I must admit, that 'knock her over the head' idea sounds interesting...;)

Here you are! I was wondering what you were going to do with Anna now! She's a great character, and well suited with Jack...they play off each other wonderfully without her being a Mary Sue at all!
