This is a pretty sweet little fic. I always figured there might be some slash to be written between these two, but somehow I never managed to come across any.
I like the ambience to this piece; it's very warm and brings the more-or-less comic sidekicks into focus as real people, and the way Hillary concern for Lara is very tangible, although not anywhere near as endearing as Bryce's comfort for his lover. The characterizations are excellent and the writing is nice and flowing, creating very good imagery.
A cute fic full of warm, fuzzy feelings, and a lot of potential for even more.
