wow that was an unexpected ending! i love it... kind of dark but kind or weirdly romantic... good job :)

Now that I've re-read this I truly see the twist in this.
At first glance you don but but when I see how she doesn't remember their 'wedding', the clock chimes & 'the baby' crying in the background...it clicked that the clock has struck the 13th hour [or 12th hour] and the baby in the background is Toby.
What can I say I had a 'ah-ha' moment.

I really loved your alternate ending! It was so dark and romantic. The seque from one dream to another was so smooth. A very satisfying little one-. ko.
