Ahhh I love this story!
It is so well written, full of passion. Poor Smith. He is indeed a slave of his own race, a slave of his purpose. You put is so delicatly, as you describe how he hides his feelings, his desires from the Mainframe...beautiful! It must not end here - I demand a chapter two!
I've visited your website, Thinking Woman's Crumpet, (what does 'Crumpet' mean? I'm not American, you see...) Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my 'lovers' on your site, Alan Rickman. Or should I say Professor Severus Snape. I guess we have some thing in common :-)
