Is this going to be a continuing story? I hope so... Are you planning on updateing your other Pirates fic anytime soon? I really like that one and would hate to see you abandon it only right after it was starting to get to the good part. Although I guess in a way, this ficlet almost was kind of like the second part to your other story... although it felt more of a cope-out if that is really the case. Please update soon!

*sniff* Oh wow... That was really good. Sad, but good. Hell, it was excellent. Beautiful even. The ending line was poetry.

I found it quite the nice ironic twist that Jack ended up destroying what he most wanted. Excellent piece, only a few grammar issues. All in all an enjoyable, poetic short.
