Hm. Sorry.. so far your writing is just average... the plot's rather fresh though (as in the good kinda fresh) and slightly interesting... that's what's been keeping me reading... you could try adding more what-cher-call-its (plot elements? don't really know), like bits of history, or descriptions, or even spreading screen time mroe evenly between the main characters, and space them out evenly to keep ers ers reading.. afterall, what are cliffhangers for? :) good luck!

Oh dear... looking at the reviews, looks like i might have to re-read... oh well... am v sleepy so shall do it tomorrow... in the meantime, ignore what i just said.

that cliffie right there was on the negative side of the fairness scale! that was beyond wrong. I'm guessing that was good old norrington, but is he alive or dead? hmmm.
also: 15?! um, ouchies! bill turner is scary in a "well, that's not too bad because he still looks just like will" kinda way. i really like the idea behind this; how do you come up with this stuff? anyway, please update soon, i'm dying to read more! (sorry, horrible, unintentional pun)

I like this! Jack's in all sorts of trouble. He's got ghosts, he's got Bill Turner's ghost in particular, he's got the Navy...I can't wait to see how get get him out of this. If I were in his place, I REALLY wouldn't want my lover's father hanging around invisible, thank you very much. :)

Hi, Saw you had updated and read the whole thing again. What a great ride! I adore this story. Your characters are totally spot on. As I read I am THERE with Will and Jack and Bill, in the taverns, on the decks, in the cabin. I love your touches of humour. This line had me laughing out loud. .....Bill had always been a great knot maker, and death hadn’t lessened his ability. .....
the torture is just so well done. I do remember the film a Man called Horse with Richard Harris and that scene was a very powerful, graphic image of pain. Personally though my favourite are the silver balls. For weeks now I have been saying to people, (well only selected people that I think will understand of course!) "Bet you don't know how many one inch silver balls you can get up a pirates arse? It's 15 at the last count!" Please Please keep this up, More tre, re, more of sweet William and more about the sparrow and the curse and the treasure and all. Can't wait to see what happens when they sail through the triangle. Thrilled you have updated. I am going to put this on my rec read list.
