I like this prequel very much. Hope you update soon. I would pinpoint specifics but when one likes it all it's hard to get into specifics!

Very good beginning. Now I am intrigued as to what happens next! I always figured Jack to have more of a gentlemen's upbringing due to the fact that he didn't really speak the usual Pirate slang. Just my two cents worth. Can't wait for more!

Hmmm I like how Chapter one started. I never seen Jack Sparrow as a once man from a gentleman's home before but must admit I like how you are going this.
