Oh wow... that was utterly beautiful. Well written. Most of the J/E fics I run across are not... of the highest calliber. But yours, my dear, was excellent. I hope I run into more of yours later!

Congrats! I've been searching for good Jack/Elizabeth fics all over the net and I couldn't find any... that's until I stumbled with "It Was The Rum". I just simply love the fic and I liked the way you write very much. Do I really have to say that I hope to read more fics from you? Well, I do^^ You are really one great author and I'm happy I found another Jack/Elizabeth fan out there. Congrats again for such a story!

Aw, what a lovely story. =3 Both very much in character, just the right amount of story, fluff and (yay!) squidge. All balanced each other out, made for a wonderfully pleasant read... and re-read. Thanks for writing this! =3

this story wuz crazee-good. you truly captured the characters and kept them in character throughtout the entire story. i loved the story n i hope u write more soon.

this story was so great! It was everything i would have hoped for to happen on the island. this is gotta be one of the top best PotC fics out there. I loved it so much cause it wasn't just well written but beleivable, and the characters acted as themselves, and not some weird alter-ego that would never be possible. luv it luv it luv it
