Reviews for Rainstorm

Such an amazing, beautiful, masterful work of writing, I can hardly find the right words, but I love it, so so much. I think I've probably read it an average of twice a day since the day you posted it, and it still blows me away every time. Their love and desire is powerful and overwhelming and thread through every line. It's more for them, more than anything before with the culmination of everything that's happened to them and the fact that they're able to share themselves in this magical, beautiful place and the rain falling upon them the whole time - it's as if this is some kind of perfect dream world :D I can't stand it, it's so good.

I absolutely love that you took the risk of a whole new style of writing. It's a tiny bit disorienting the first time (I read) but it adds a completeness and originality to the whole scene that I think would be missing without the unique pov. I think it also adds to the magical quality of the scene, and the feeling of the whole setting. It's as if Mundali has arranged this all for them, because they deserve it so, so much and now is looking over them making sure everything goes perfect. It's just the most unique feeling and it works so absolutely beautifully here.

I love the camaraderie between the four of them as touched upon in the beginning. Many times I think parents, new parents have to be urged to take time for themselves, it's something that just happens naturally but I think Obi and Aala would be particularly stubborn, because they are stubborn but also because - as adjusted and level headed as they are - they might feel in the back of their minds like every minute with Miracle is just borrowed time, and could be taken away at any second. But still, they *have* to have time for themselves to keep their marriage healthy now, and I love they have good friends to make sure they do this, too :) Love this: **Aala chuckled. “Does it count as a suggestion if they were practically shoving us out the door?”** :D haha

I love the spring, I love they way you describe it, it's perfect. And I love that Aala notices Obi and the way he looks right away, even clothed, she can read every inch of him. That she wants to go swimming first, and strips right there, seems so Aala - I think she would naturally choose the best way to stir trouble up as the first thing they do :D Not real trouble, just a little of the fun kind ;)

Obi's playfulness is just perfect, and so good to read. He's happy, happy to be there, with his wife and it's so clear and lovely. The scene you set below the water is beautiful as well, even though it caught Aala off guard, it's an amazing moment for them of peace.

** Instead, he gave her his most charming smile, the kind that made her cheeks pink, and offered her the container of namana-cream pie. Aala accepted it, but did not eat right away, instead giving him an amused look. “Dessert before the meal?”

“I'm feeling rebellious,” he said with a grin as he handed her one of the provided forks.** -So perfect! So good! He's so adorable and sexy, as captured here perfectly.

I love how it starts so slow between them, a perfect slow-burn - the brushing of skin, caressing, a kiss that grows and the rain pours and so it releases the desire in them. So, so, so good, So sexy! From the start of their lovemaking they're both completely taken over by desire for the other person, it's intense but so caring and warm and born of true love and it captures the perfect tone - so hot, but truly emotional and deep as well.

**Obi-Wan wants. He wants to taste her, every delicious, soaking inch of her, and he wants to hear her say his name again so breathlessly, so impassioned, nearly a plea. It is and has always been his undoing** - Absolutely love this. So good!

I love the way he puts her first - not because he's supposed to but because he loves doing this to her, and he does it all so well, touching, tasting, everything, and taking it so slow so she can experience as much pleasure in it as possible. They are so beautiful together here and you've drawn them and their love exceptionally well. It just blows me away.

**To Obi-Wan, there is nothing sweeter than the taste of his Aala. Sweet spice, warm honey...he has no way to name her taste, no way to quantify it in his mind other than her. All he can do is savor it, so he does.**

Oh Obi-Wan! So good... So sexy

The end is beyond perfect, because there is so much more to them then just a moment of passion. I love the humor, the little teasing, but just enjoying each other as they always do, I love the cuddling and especially the kissing! Something about that just got me... It shows their love is so so strong I think. Even after satisfaction as they have just experienced they still want more of each other.

Them going on another journey, holding hands and loving each other, together is perfect. Just perfect. A million hearts and smiles and thank yous for writing this, it was beyond anything I've ever read before. Amazing, awesome job!!!!
