Scarlett, forgive me for getting hold of you via a review, but I have no other way to contact you. I tried to reply to your review of "Hollow of the Heart" by putting my own review in to the story, but now I got a nasty note from AFF that says I have to remove my own review or risk having my story 'hidden'. So I do thank you for your review, and would humbly ask if you would be kind enough to re-review??? I had no idea I couldn't reply as I did...

    Here is what you said:

Just wanted to let you know I've loved reading all of your Barbossabeth tales, and I love your writing.

And I was so happy when I read what this newest chp was about. I've been wanting to read about this famous first night together since you first set the scene up, which BTW was extremely intriguing...

But I always look forward to reading any new chps or new fics that you're doing. We sooo need more Barbossa and Barbossabeth fics, so I'm extremely grateful to you and your writing because I soooo need my Barbossa fix. And I was actually starting to read Her Chosen Path again, that was pure Barbossabeth GENIUS!!!

Please keep up the great work because there are plenty of us who are reading. And I can't wait for more!!!! Anxious to see who this intruder is?????

SORRY!!! I meant to say your story Adrift!!!! I love that you took the time to write such an in depth story. It was beautiful!

Thank you for your review, Scarlett! I'm flattered to be put into the same category as Donna's "Chosen Path" - that was one of my favourites, too. But I am very happy that you like both "In the Hollow of the Heart" and "Adrift," and more so that you took time to let me know! It really means a lot to me to hear from one of my readers. Thank you!

Again, I'm so sorry I screwed up...I so appreciated your review and now I have to delete!!! WAAAH!

Feel free to delete this...as I said, I would have emailed you if I could.

Scarlet, I'm so glad you reviewed 'Adrift' because your name in turn led me to your story! Whoa...Chapter 5 was VERY hawt. I always believed that Elizabeth and Hector were far better suited to one another than she was with Will or even Jack. There is an anger, a passion in her that matches his so well. Well done!

I hate to be nitpicky but I'm going to be anyway. They did not have zippers in the days of pirates and you couldn't walk into a store and buy fancy dresses off the rack either. There was no such thing as 'ready to wear' clothes that you could buy in a store. You went to a tailor or seamstress and they measured you and you came back in a while ( they didn't have sewing machines either) and it was ready to be tried on, then it had to be fixed a little until it fit right. Took a very long time. If you were really rich the people came to your house and did all the measuring and sewing at your house. Definately no dress sizes and zippers though.
