    The last chapter!

    1. Gabriel did not and likely *does not* seduce "beautiful young virgin human girls". Just... *no*. See: my review of Chapter 1.

    2. Lots of this last chapter really skated on the edge of that hoary old "teh healing hawt sexx0r makes rape victims all better!" godawful fanfic cliché. So far, I think you're OK. If you do write a sequel, be careful.

    3. "“Well, I have a back up plan that involves the Catholic church, it’s priests, and young boys, but admittedly, it’s not much right now, but I think it’s a good plan B nonetheless.”" LOL! Which reminds me, I'm not quite clear on when this fic is supposed to take place. Is it before the first movie, or between the first and second? Though I can't see how it could be the latter, because Gabriel was in the basement at that point, not roaming the Earth looking for hookers. It can't take place between the second and third movie or after the third movie for obvious reasons.

Like I said before, you're an excellent writer. Just be careful about straying too far from canon, because it makes your readers go, "huh?". I loved all of your descriptions of the antiques and furniture that Lilith and Gabriel had collected over the years; it really lent a touch of realism to the story. I'm not sure I can see Gabriel as the type to settle down and collect antiques, but since you're showing a side of him that we didn't see in the movies, I'm willing to suspend my disbelief. All in all, a very well-written fic that draws on Biblical material not addressed in the movies. That's a refreshing change from a lot of the "Prophecy" fics that I've seen, believe me!

    Wow.

You know, in the movies the angels were hermaphrodites, meaning they had both male and female sex organs. Think of the fun Lilith could have...

    Yes, it's me again.

    1. "“Oh please, Gabe. You sound like a whining child whose trip to the zoo just didn’t turn out as he expected.” Lilith sighed." Love it! It's such an apt description of Gabriel's constant complaining! I also love her banter with Gabriel: "Fossil!" "Relic!" Heh.

    2. Uh... Lilith's daughters are all Gabriel's daughters? Are they nephalim? See my review of Chapter 1.

    3. Lilith and Gabriel got it on in a confessional? Um, no. Gabriel would never profane a church. In the second movie, Valerie was safe as long as she stayed in that church, because Gabriel wouldn't kill her there.

I have to say that the story itself is very well-written. You're a talented writer and you paint very vivid pictures with your words!

    Mmm. Well.

    1. Bringing Gabriel and Lilith together is an interesting and unique concept. I sure wouldn't have thought of it. Most of the Prophecy fics I've seen here and elsewhere pair Gabriel with established characters from the movies. Yours is an interesting little twist.

    2. "For Christ’s sake, what was wrong with this town, Gabriel wondered." Um, no. Gabriel would never, *ever* take the Lord's name in vain. That's blasphemy, and as you may recall from the movies, nothing riled Gabriel up more than someone blaspheming.

    3. Angels as sex fiends? Um, no. In the movies, getting it on with human women is a huge no-no, as it tends to lead to the creation of nephalim. Nephalim are *bad*, mmmmkay? Gabriel talks about sex in the third movie, when he's human. It's clearly implied that he never had sex before he became human, and that Zophael had never had sex *at all*. Angels may get it on with each other (the movies don't address that idea either one way or the other, so we're free to interpret), but they don't get it on with humans, especially not human women.

    4. After everything that Gabriel did/went through to get back in God's good graces, I can't imagine him risking the Boss's wrath by going to strip clubs looking for hookers. Especially since sex = nephalim and nephalim = Really Bad Situation. Surely God would be less than amused.

I hope you weren't hurt or offended by this review. Like I said, this is an interesting concept. I'm definitely going to read the rest.
