The curtains were parted only slightly, allowing the barest sliver of light to illuminate the injured man lost amid the sheets in the large bed. The moonlight danced over his skin, laying intimate kisses on the smooth curve of his cheek, lacing itself playfully through the whiskers on his chin. In the lonely darkness, Luna's gentle rays embraced him, holding him tenderly, lovingly in their soft blue-white glow.

sighing to the max. , more lively with each reading. I love this paragraph especially. so much that I can forgive liz taking the beads out because, my god, the man is unconscious, is nothing sacred? at least she could have waited until he was awake and given him at least a fighting chance to foist her off. sheesh fine thing that is. ravishing a wounded man. well james is there now---protection for jack, else she would no doubt have been after his beard. and that, sports fans, would have been a battle. could have sold tickets to that one. made money.

Oh my. but this is beautiful. I love Sparrington. they are just so beautiful together. and no wasted words for plot set up. Just the tender beaauty of the moment. I can just hear Jack saying "I wish I could die like this." not a little angst eh, James haveing to go through his norrmal routine. nice that he climbs into bed with jack---hey, its where we all want to be. Better for James, too, if the fever broke before he got there. one think, that gentle breeze, or was it moonlight that caressed Jack---hahahahahah, that was me, thought you'd be fooled. Didn;t think a bag of wind could mime a gentle breeze---or was it moonlight. gasp! now i must needs go back and read it again (oh, yeah, like i think it is a hardship. right. right.) saw your review on Helborne;s witch and thought I would come over to see what was going on here, and glad I did. thank you for this---Ive got tears.

Well, my dear, I'm glad I gave you that thought...and I still don't see how you think this is horrible. This is a wonderful and powerful piece of work. Be proud of what you do, ok, firefly? I love you.
