Wow. I've read pre-slash before, but this was sort of post-slash. Bitter and dark and sad, but the end...the end made it all worth reading. I'm glad it was completed by the time i got to it though.

Spooky piece, in a good way.

this is possibly one of the creepiest stories that i have ever read, and one of the most confusing, every chapter was something different. how the bloody hell did you do it? i don't know anyone who could have written that even half as well as you did. i have never read a story like this before, it made my head want to explode,... i kind of like that feeling. please keep writing i will be looking forward to whatever you write next. ttyl - killa a.k.a. marik

Oh my. Oh My. that was... mind twistind ind intruguing and the cryptic symboliism was not laid on thick (an extremly rare occurence in Fanfic ). Man i Loved it! just... just... wow. Original and ...wow.

I loved bitter and twisted!Elizabeth. Her hurt and the way she delt with it, how she had worked herself into that dead life... just... my gawd.

Norrginton's panic and confusion was depicted very well, you had me second guessing throughout the entire thing. (Is he still in the jungle? no he's dreaming! no he's dead and his sprirt is replaying might-have beens! no he's- etc.)

And To top it all off a happy ending! You have now snagged you a fangirl for life!

*applauds* Truly gorgeous! (I don't think I can say that enough). Your story was entrancing from the very first sentence. The creativity and originality are truly brilliant. In fact, your's is the only story I've ever rec.'ed since I first started reading fanfiction back in the 8th grade (which I remember not at all, but then it was some time ago). You deserve every word of praise in all the human languages. Thank you sinerely for gifting this community with this excellent work. I hope to read more from your talented mind (this is also probably the longest review I've ever written as well).

    Congratulations on a delicious masterpiece,

    Sarryn

That was excellent! A suspenseful fic with a proper conclusion in the end. Before the final chapter, one just had to keep guessing. It's all come together in the end and explains everything. Great fic!

That was a GREAT story! I really liked it con confused the hell out of me and then I understood it and then I got confused again and then I understood it again. Wow, you have a great way of keeping a girl on her toes, you do. I really enjoyed what you wrote though I think that the ending might have been a bit abrupt, it was still very well written and very interesting. I loved it. I would love to read more of your work. Again, that was great!

Wow. I feel like I'm going mad along with the Commodore. I can hardly keep track of where they are, who's actually there and what's actually going on. Very well written it's keeping me on my toes.

    Please update soon.

I am slightly confused, but hopefully you'll be abel to enlighten mw with future updates. Still I really like your fic, more a mystery thriller than anything. Have no idea what the last paragraph was about though, left me bewildered.

    Do update soon!

Wow great suspense, almost like reading a mystery novel. I love how the parts play out, each revealing a little more and it keeps you ever guessing. Most original indeed, all the chars we know had been really affected by events, Norrington crippled! Will by Elizabeth's death? Wow, it's something that most authors couldnt conceive of, and being able to built such a interesting story on it. This is indeed a rare and wonderful find. I admit that I read the story for Norrington/Will slash (Ah such a overlooked pairing) and that I absolutely love the 1st story Windward Tide. However bwt Wind and Tide had me astounded, the chars were deeply carved, fleshed out well and in such interesting ways! Seeing the mightly Norrington changed in such a deep way, his change of attitude to life and people...even that of his previous job certainly made him a three dimensional person, one that we can sympathise and relate too.

I am so glad you wrote the story in such a way, instead of being Norrington/Will falling in love n doing the deeot tot that it's bad :) but it's simply delightful to readell ell thought out story and moreover a mystery POTC is even a rarer thing! And hence I applaud this wonderful story, it's wonderful author for sharing this sequel with all of us. And now, Norrington seeing the shade of Elizabeth?! This's most intriguing! Really I cant wait to find out more! So as with every reader, I end this with, ooohhh pls update soon! :)

Fascinating story, my dear, do keep up that great work!
