    Hey,
oh god, this fic is really... hard to read. I nearly cried while reading it, it touched something inside me. I know the feeling, how it is to sit in a hospital and wait for someone who will tell you the best or worst you an hear in such a situation. I hope your friend will be all right!

The fic was lovely, and heart-wrenching. You started to breathe again when Jonny did. I'm so happy that your friend was alright, it's a terrible thing to lose someone. A girl at my school died in a car accident one snowy, slippery afternoon, her best friend was driving, they were hit, she died on impact and her friend was badly hurt but recovered. It hit the whole school very hard. Again, I'm glad your friend was alright, and thank you for sharing your experience with us in such a beautiful way.

I sit here, staring at my screen, wondering what I should say to you about this story. It was beautiful, frightingly beaul. Hl. Having nearly lost 2 dear friends of mine last April in a senseless accident that was one of those, 'Why didn't I take another way home?' things, I can understand how you feel. In my case my friend had invited me to dinner at her house, when she didn't arrive I got worried but had no idea what was wrong. The next morning at work, (we worked at the same business), her manager called me looking for her. 3 heart-wrenching hours later we were able to finally find her and her son in one of the local hospitals. Her son was fine except for cuts and bruises, she had a concussion, a skull that was fractured in 3 places, along with bruises, cuts and some memory loss. I thank God everyday that they are alive.

Once again, beautiful story, very well written, and a wake up call that we should all count ourselves lucky when there are times when, but for the grace of God, someone we love could have been killed by someone else's carelessness.
