i absolutley adore the little jack/nell scenes. please more of them! she is so cute and he is so cute around her:D

but OMG! so scary! im still not sure wether the monks are good people or bad people, and what does the monk mean with "ull see"?
i hope they will suffer no more sacrifices and that they'll make it off the island in time!
and the village better be a nice, peaceful place! i dont think i can handle much more tension or conflicts :D I NEED COMIC RELIEF :D or at least more :D

I was wondering if you had forgotten about the hand incident. I'm glad you tied it back in. I also like the fact that there isn''t a clear cut "good guy" in your fic. Good work. Keep it up.

WoW.... I'm speechless O.O this fic is just great totally fantastic!!! Your writing style is really really good you make people feel with the characters and you discribe the places and surroundings so perfectly that you could easly imagen yourself standig right beside them! It is incredible!!! And than the relationship between Jack and Nell it is so sweet and innocent but at the same time full of sexual tension and wit.... it is funny, interesting and enchanting to read about them and the adventures they have together!!!! I'm really glad that I got bored of all the LOTR fic's and so got the chance to read this brilliant fic *gg*
I really hope the next chapter will come soon because I can't wait to see who exactly it is who has his hands on Nell's shoulder (I think it is on of the monks and they want her for themself!!) but thats to see ^^
Oh and yeah befor I forgett.... I love your brain *laughs* no I really do it is brilliant and full with fantasie!!!! Just love it *gg* soooooooo hope see ya soon!

yeah!! another chapter!!! Poor Nell and the Turners, this was a really good chapter and I'm glad we got to see more of what Nell is coming to mean to Jack. Hopefully in the next chapter there will be more Nell and Jack romance!! Keep up the great work, you are a terriffic auther!!! And update soon, I can't wait to read more.

Was it bad? Was it cringeworthy? Are you kidding? This was amazing. If my daughter had woken up with a nightmare I still wouldnt have been able to tear myself away from the screen. i absolutely love how you write Jack. And what about those monks. Even though Nell was thought of as mad for thinking they were protecting them I still kinda hoped they would be goodies. Hey, it cant all be bad on the island of doom. Though I am wondering exactly what it was they showed Nell Lizzie and Will, I suppose you will tell us in time, if that is indeed your plan. Anyway, all that is left for me to say is that I absolutely adore this chapter, much as I have done all 25 chapters before it and I will wait patiently (or impatiently, depending on how long it takes you to write it) for the next thrilling installment.

Hello, I've been following this story for a while now, and I'm ashamed to say this is my first review ever for it. But in my defense, I wanted it to be of some substance other than the two tumbs up it this story unquestionably deserves!

First of all, the characters, you've given us some original characters of which a lot of reader's are hoping to see in the next POTC movies no doubt. I absolutely adore Nell, and Hock for being protective of her in his own way, and of course Lady Clarence who always makes me smile. But instead of just developing the personality of the main love intrest for Jack, which is the case in most fanfic, you even throw in some existing characters (Bryant & Norrington), and give them so much more personality. (BTW when I saw POTC again last week, I loved to see Bryant and I imagined him as the character you've developped him into :) )

Next in line is the storyline itself, I've never read such a convincing adventure storyline as this one, and the most important thing is, you take your time to let the story unfold, you never rush a situation. A lot af fanfiction concerning a treasure hunt will have them to, on, and off the island in a mere three chapters. what I'm trying to say I guess is, that in the case of your story I'm as interested in reading the adventure/suspense part as I am in reading the romance part, and that is something very new to me ;). And of course, I can't forget the dialogue in my list of things I love about this fic, it's witty, and it's typical for every character. What I mean is that I can guess a lot of times by now who says something by their choice of words, or the context or type of dialect before I even read who says it (confusing sentence, I know :) ). Jack speaks in his unique, often confusing way, as he should, because this was one of his trademarks in the movie. Norrington cares but doesn't forget his place accept when it's undeniably nessecairy, as he should. I could go on for a while on this subject but you can catch my drift.

Then last but not least, I always thought that the original Jack, the one from the movies, was a ladies man but could only truly love his Pearl and the freedom she brings. This is an idea I know a lot of fans share with me, at least according to the IMDB boards. But that didn't stop me from getting hooked on Jack romance fanfiction just to indulge in a little fantasy that maybe he could genuinely love a woman after all. I have to say, yours is the only story that portrays Jack so true, that it convinced me that the original Jack could fall in love. It wouldn't be sudden, and he wouldn't show it from the start, but it could happen like it is now happening to your Jack concerning Nell, and that is the greatest complement I could ever give a story, and at this moment it is reserved solely for your fanfiction.

PS: I hope this was worth a few updates since I owed you quite a few!
