Wow. Just wow. (It's a good wow, by the way.) But geez, what the heck is WRONG with this site's readers?? Why doesn't this have any reviews yet!? It's positively AMAZING! But anyway, enough of my rambling; on with the review:

It would be just like the Joker to kill her before he could find out everything he wanted to know. He just has no self-control. And I really like how you portray him as an artist. He certainly gives the impression that he sees himself that way, though perhaps not in a traditional manner. More of a raging psychopath kind of way. xD Just kidding, I couldn't resist. But seriously, the way you wrote him being almost jealous of the way Rachel's face had been stitched up, and how he wished he could redo his own scars, immediately made me think of an artist hating a painting and wanting to start over with an entirely new canvas. And in the story he actually IS an artist starting a painting. For some reason I can really see him as being an artst, because he definitely is a creative person, even though he doesn't usually use his creativity for good... I'd still like to see that painting of his done in Rachel's blood ;)

*GASP* I just thought of something! You should draw it/paint it for dA ;P Just a thought. I went and looked at Rhomboidius' painting by the way - holy moly, it was AMAZING! (I know, I know, holy moly sounds so cheesy, but still!)

Anyways. It's taken me an hour just to write this much of a review; that's sad. Just goes to show how easily sidetracked I get by MSN. xD Must focus.

"He wanted to cut her open and bathe in her blood, to see if immersing himself in the essence of someone so adored could make him feel any different." - I love that line. I don't know why. I can never explain why I like certain lines in stories; I suppose they just really speak to me. Usually the ones I'm still thinking about at the end of the story are the ones that I like the best. Also this one:
"“Guano Man really does complete me – he’s in my very blood!”" - After reading about the shape of a bat forming out of the spattering of his blood on the canvas, I nearly got shivers from that. The pure irony of something as simple as the Joker seeing Batman in his own painting is really a concept that's sort of epic, in its own way.

" I won’t tell Batpoop or Harvey-Big-Chin-Dent – this’ll just be our little secret, hmm?”" HAHA. I love that. It made me laugh xD It's just like you to put something little like that to make me chuckle smack dab in the middle of such a dark and macabre piece of writing :) It's a good thing, by the way :P It helps keep readers from getting so depressed that they don't want to read any more. Only very experienced writers know to do this. Or, writers with very good intuition. xD Anyhoo, I liked it :P
