So, I finally finished reading from the beginning as you suggested, as well as the two chapters I missed. Wow. That was some breakdown V had. My heart broke for him; the pain, ( both emotional and physical, although sometimes emotional pain can manifest physically) the confusion, just swirling around, driving him insane. I felt for Evey, having to watch him go through all that, not knowing what to do, not knowing how to stop V from falling appart or how to put him together again, all the while trying to keep the revolution in motion that V started, and worrying about making sure V's trail is covered. Gaah, all that would drive a person insane. I liked that when he locked himself in, he at least threw the key at her. I also thought it was sweet how when he first leaned against the door, she leaned against it as well to comfort him, but then when he ran away it made me sad again. The purple book returns!! ^.^ I love how she used it to bring him back again, and then of course the door leaning again, very sweet. I can only imagine the conversation they are going to have when V has finished regaining his composure. Oh, and I just wanted to mention Evey's research on the burns. Her thoughts are true of how every one is deep down inside, but most of us learn to look past the superficial. Researching the burns was a very smart thing to do to help her understand V to an exent. I cannot wait to read the next installment of this beautiful story.

So.....they had their talk. They admitted they loved each other, and V is frightened out of his wits to become so vulnerable, which he already is, so I guess he doesn't want to become even *more* vulnerable. ^.^ I love that he became her sun, but I wish V would let her in, and trust that she loves him for the man he is, not what's under the mask "literally or figuratively". And then the evasion. *sigh* However, it was simply wonderful that Evey knew exactly what he was doing. ^.^ I am sorry this isn't longer or more eloquent, but I've had a wicked, raging migraine the past two days.

I am a fan of poinent fluff, sometimes a little fluff does some good. ^.^

How lucky you are to have V for a muse. I bet he tells you the most fascinating things. ^.^ How dare the people on FF.net, critcize you for that. Did they *see* the movie? Did they not *see* all his books? I agree with you wholeheartedly. For someone as well read as him, with such an extensive library, he would quote other authors as well. *shakes head* Silly people.

I will not cheat, and read ahead. I want to be able to leave you a review for every single chapter. ^.^ The Charles Dickens was fabulous, and very apropos..but you knew that. ^.^ I just love Charles Dickens. This chapter made me think. V had some very valid concerns. What *is* a man to do that has planned every step to instill change in an overbearing and corrupt government, even down to his own death, but the last part of the plan doesn't go as anticipated. I feel bad for V. I mean, Evey has her V back, and obviously they love each other, but I commiserate with him on the whole last words thing. What would *you* do, if in thinking you were going to die, make a variety of confessions, and admissions, and declartations of love and such, and then, you don't die. God, that would be awful. I know, more or less what I would say, and I *really* wouldn't want to be around for the aftermath. I can't wait for the next chapter. I sort of feel like I am in AP english class here. LOL. I'm not critisizing the other authors on here, but your writing is more.....in depth. XXOO

Oh my God!! I ADORE V for Vendetta. I cry every single time I see it, and by the end of the movie, I am sobbing my eyes out. So glad you are posting this story. V is a fabulous character, and he deserves further examination. I loved the V/Evey dynamic in the movie, and here, is no different. This is fantastic, wonderfully detailed, and V is just as elegant, and "verbose" as always. I myself, fell a bit in love with him. ^.^ Who could resist him? So passionate, so well read, and so eloquent. I am very eager to read the rest of this story. You are a fantastic writer by the way. I am interested in reading the "small purple paperback book" now. Will it be difficult to locate do you think? XXOO
