    Poor Jereth. I think something more should happen between these two. I also want you to know I am advertising your story. It is great. Thank you for sharing this since I just got my books about Return to the Labrynth. I look forward to a lemon soon or lime. Citrus is always good.

    instant gratification vs. delayed satisfaction

    she doesn't have to seduce only give the illusion of hope. if he has to work for it he will appreciate it so much more.

    my mum used to say "why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free"
    she also said "it's better to be an old man's princess than a young man's slave" (assuming the 'old man' has some wealth. i think.) but she was always spouting things like "it's better to get paid for it than to give it away for nothing" ... mum was unique.

    maybe they're both over their heads.

    depending on the time period and place of his origin, he could have proper victorian sensibilities or decadent bohemian. what is the twenty-first century woman sarah going to encounter?

    will he be shocked and taken aback... or gleefully match her move for move??

    how will sarah respond if he calls her bluff?

    one wonders if he had ever considered actually courting her and not in the freakish way he did the first time when she asked to be rid of her brother. he's been non-human for so long that he's forgotten the basics.

    funny about that list of books, i have read some really good anime adaptation/fanfics based on those same stories...

    anyway, good chapter and i'm sure that you will be giving your OC an interesting personality. jareth's eyes and ears, maybe he'll become enamored with sarah the way all of his subjects are apt to.

    sorry about chapter nine, seems i have been remiss. seems jareth just doesn't 'get it' yet. oh well, more entertainment for us.

    at least she should have asked for different clothes while hers are getting washed instead of a dressing gown (robe?). didn't you describe a shelf of books or she is going to be one bored captive.

    there are too few reviews! especially for such a well written and entertaining story that is so quickly updated.

    at least he healed her cuts and abrasions, he could have been more forceful and cruel but since he wants something from her he can only walk a thin line if he doesn't want her to, out of fear and anguish discover just how powerful she really is.

    one would assume he had taken into consideration her fiery and defiant nature in his calculations. also her appeal and ability to garner loyal friendship from his subjects. especially since he is apt to kick them periodically.

    wow, that was quick! great chapter... what in the world did he mean by "our evening of decadence"? o.O
    no, no spoilers, don't answer that, i'll find out as the story progresses.

    eeww!! creepy crawlies *scrunches face and shivers*

    one would think that he would have had all the bases covered since he worked so hard on concealing the door *smirk* one would think he never attempted a non magic escape in his previous life, no wonder he was bored... and not very creative. he should never underestimate her, she bested his labyrinth! she escaped an oubliette! he may as well have had a trellis next to the balcony, or supplied her with rope *snort*

    amusement at her escape and still shivering from the cave. good chapter and you're welcome!

    one has to remember to check the chapters when one clicks on the 'labyrinth' category as there are very few different stories written/updated that if one just checks the titles one misses out. ♦a suggestion! on the summary you should state the chapter number is posted: CHAPTER 5 UP! ... or whatever.

    exciting developments... one would think that the easiest way would just be to ask her; then again when would jareth take the easy way?
