I knew, I knew he couldn't have killed her out of ire or malice. What a bittersweet twist. They were so close...

I'm so confused. Shlok loved Kayla, but only mated Leena and kulvir's mate? Why? I still don't get that.
Kayla refused him her affections, yet she wanted them?
That is what started the mess right? Then she didn't?

Somehow Leena took Kayla's place, but Shlok misses Kayla? Did he even want her?
How could Shlok allow this to happen? I wish I could see inside his thick skull and shake some sense into him.

Great story. I just hate the idea of Shlok not having cared for Kayla or her needs in all this. She cpuld have died and he wasn't there for her.

Wow the truth is out now.
To bad Kayla had to die missing her.

Not trying to flame in the least, but honestly, chapter 18 was silly. This business with the jafen pregnancy is just…awful, Jumping the shark and beneath you. But Chapter 19 was what I have been waiting on! The part where Banaj realizes she is dead is familiar to another story I read here, but just as gut wrenching and its even worse when he is told he killed her with his knife. A real awful situation that plays out well.

Ok lets go over this chapter by chapter, lol
The Jafren completely surprised me. It was nothing like I thought would happen. They were helping Kayla all that time and not themselves.
Jasmine is still a ball of laughter and the child, well that just opened a whole new story. I love the fact that the Jafren could see the Yajutas killing off each other eventually. Everything about that was actually quite convincing, if you have nothing else to hunt, hunt each other.
You could have warned the readers that Kaylas death would be a tear jerker! I actually felt really bad for Ba'naj. As the story is being told I could only think of the past chapters at how he reacts around people and his attitude whenever she was mentioned. It all makes sense now!
Ta'naj reaction surprised me. But it was honorable of him. I do see another fight with him and his father.
Bravo on the excellent chapters. I have a feeling our great story is coming to an end. I hope this isn't the last of you.

I've been wondering whatever happened to Lex's human looking daughter that Kayla held when they first met. Maybe she could help Jasmine adjust with a unique perspective?
Great story, but I miss old sweet tanoj.
It seems Shlok made plenty of time for his other mates why not Kayla whom he claimed to love? Maybe Kayla just gave up on Shlok, but I find it hard to side with Kayla.
The flashbacks help me get it somewhat, but I can't reconcile them ending their relationship without knowing what was going on in his head too. You built them up so, and then done. Please I need to know. I beg bigtime for more. What the heck happened to them?! I cry inside for love lost.

Hahaha, that quote from Su'ram is truly genius. I was laughing so hard after reading it, because it's so true yet it isn't. :D

Once again, simply amazing writing this chapter. I really enjoyed the part where Ta'noj is finally reflecting on all he has done and wondering if it was all in vain. Truly, Lo'kesh gave the smartest and most wise answer possible when he simply told him "it's not your fight", which is so true, because it was always Sh'lok and Ba'naj's fight for Kayla. I wonder if Ta'noj now even wonders if his mother was worth avenging?

Well, it will be very interesting to see. I'm still torn on Kayla/Ba'naj somewhat. They clearly have chemistry (possibly more so than any other pairing with the exception of maybe Kul'vir), but I still don't know if they were meant for eachother. Oh well, I'm sure you'll reveal to us your master plan in time circle. :)

Totally love Su'ram's 'Ooman female obtaining plan'. . . "Strangle her, talk to her and throw her over my shoulder, choke her, then we mate.” The poor female. LOL

Ba'naj finally meeting his 'mating' match. Never thought I'd see that day. heehee

I so wanna hurry and read what really happened to Kayla and to see who fights whom. But, I get the feeling that then the wonderful ride will be over. And me no want it to be over. Oh well, then I'll just have to read it ALL over again and relive the ride. :)

How in the hell can a predator story be so touching! I don't know if I should be angry with Ba'naj for having something to do with Kayla's death or feel sorry for all the pain he's going through. Your story is a emotional roller coaster filled with happiness, sadness, anger and Jasmine :)
I forgot to review the previous chapter. I love the flashbacks, It shows the fall of Kayla and Sh'lok. She wanted more, and Ba'naj gave her that. I love the way Sh'lok showed his true temper with her. Really how submissive did she expect him to be? BUT in a morbid sort of way, she was confessing.
The finial fight scene was great, but now I have to wonder was he easy on her or was she easy on him. That was confusing. It's one of those you're leaving it up to the reader to decide.
Please update soon!! I can't wait to see Ta'noj and Ba'naj in the same room with each other. Or will Sh'lok kill him first.
Oh.... Go Lee'na! Protect your man! lol

I just wanted to say that I have loved all your stories and KR is just as wonderful so far. It seems like you update a little bit less often, but I am so glad you are still writing this story. I check for updates regularly.

You are such a great writer! Possibly one of the most talented at AFF. The world youve created in your stories is so believable. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us!! Please keep it up :)

So I guess it is certain now. Kayla would have been better of with Ne'el or Mahavin than Sh'lok. It still amazes me just how things so fell apart after the conclusion of book 2. Maybe humans just aren't meant to live as long as Kayla did. But then again Lex seemed to turn out ok.

Ok then, so unless Sh'lok has some dual personality, its clear he didn't kill Kayla (though he'd like to now for sure), and though Ba'naj blames himself for her death, others seem to think he wouldn't be capable of doing it. I just can't wait to find out who really killed her. If Kul'vir wasn't dead I would've guessed him.

It looks like Ta'noj is about to find out the truth. I hope the meditation prepared him for it.

Can't wait for the next chapter!
