Reviews for The Forgotten Codex: The Jedi Code

I think that this is a good concept but I don't think that it would have changed Anikin's path to the Darkside. The only flaws that I could find in the reasoning of the code were in Line 2 and Line 8. Telling a Jedi he has no weakness is foolish and may lead to overconfidence and eventually the Darkside. To say there is no struggle is faulty. How can learning or victory be achived without it? I like some of your ideas, but I don't understand why you had to rewrite the entire Jedi Code. That's my input for the day.

Hi there Rhiannon (love the name, reminds me of one of my fav books),

I like the concept behind this piece, and you obviously write well, but perhaps you could let the writing speak for itself and not bother with so many disclaimers. Give the usual disclaimer, and then just write. I think it's a lovely piece - there is a gravitas behind it that I think you can work on. If anyone wants to take the piss out of you, just bloody ignore them and post on ff.net instead.

I'm looking forward to reading more, and hope that you continue. More fictional writing from you, less angst with people who don't understand.

Interesting, you've elaborated on the original code. Course Darth Vader would still have came into being because Anakin may have learned it, but he wouldn't have believed in it. He was taught to have no attachments like fear or love to another person, but he had both and could not let go of either.
Another thing, this isn't something Yoda would write; a more likely character to write this would be the Dark Woman. She truly embodies the whole "no attachments to name" thing.

Very nice. Well-written, insightful, and (it's much to late to think of a proper word) Jedi-ish.

But as deep and thought-provoking as it is... I don't think it would have done Anakin much good. I'm sorry to say, but Anakin doesn't strike me as the brightest lightsaber in the training room..

It's still a pleasure to read, of course. But when you're finished with this, you might consider a "The Forgotten Codex: The Jedi Code For Dummies" edition.

In the meanwhile.. I'm looking forward to the next chapter, once it comes to you. Great work.

AN) For those with tongues that wave without prior thought, just because there is no sex does not mean that this piece has no right to be here. If your libido rules your brain, hit the BACK button and read about what you wish to read. I have no wish to mop up your dribble. Thank you.

Why the hell is this even in the Adult Fan fiction site?

If Anakin had read this, he would have wanted to kill yoda for giving him useless literature.
