You know - as silly as it sounds, I felt the need to review this chapter here. A sort of farewell to this site - as yours was really the only reason I stopped by :D

I loved that Qui and Obi came to some semblence of peace. Though it is a bit sad that they will never be what they were meant to be - the reason for it is obvious. I'm so glad Qui humbled himself and admitted that he was in the wrong. They were just words, but acknowledging his role in Obi's traumatic childhood at the very least allowed Obi to move on.

At this point I think Xan would do anything for Obi - but he wont like relocating to Coruscant and i'm sure he'll make that known ;-)

Can't wait for what comes next. Catch you at the other site for the rest of this (or what remains of it).

Bruck isn't as fragile as everyone thought...glad to hear it!

Purrrrr! A pissed off Obi who has already decided that he'll take Xani back. He's gonna bring him to his knees before this is all over. (Whew, I just got the dirtiest mental visual on that.) But, Obi should have to do a little crawling himself. Xan has been committed to Obi from almost the start. Sure, Xan let him leave, but Obi came up with the idea. They are two peas in a pod!

First rate! (I'm visiting thesaurus.com for more accolades :p )

Obi's coming around, but...Xan wanted to move on with the relationship before they went to Telos. He put the offer out there and Obi-Wan didn't accept it. So Telos was justified. He never let Xan know what he wanted either. So Obi-Wan also needs to realize that this isn't all Xan's fault. *stepping down from my soapbox*

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming dynamics of this duo. Technically, you could have Obi-Wan show up tomorrow and all be forgiven...hence end of story. But I don't think you're going to do that. ;)

By the way, I never mentioned...I really liked when you had Obi-Wan disgusted with Qui-Gon having an inappropriate relationship with his apprentice...especially since most slash fics involve Obi/Qui or Obi/Ani. I know, it's a late comment, but I wondered if you thought of that at the time.

Lori- You’re making me blush! The reunion won’t happen as easily as some may like. But it is on its way.

Rian- Humbled Xan? Hummm…. This is certainly my favorite pairing and I wouldn’t be adverse to doing another if the right plot came along.

Shan- I think both our boys are doing a lot of growing up. Hopefully it won’t change them so much they no longer connect. Lol

Sarkywoman- Bewitching! Yay me! Welcome and thanks so much for popping in.

A tortured Xan is nearly as delectable as a tortured Obi - this is superbly done angst, girl! :D Xan has the entire temple on edge.

Wonderful emotional play here for Xan - I could easily understand and feel all of the emotions that he went through, such a wide range in a such a small span of time. Thankfully Eitan was there to make him see reason - and that his next move was being watched by Obi and could very well determine the fate of their relationship.

It was noticeably hard for Xan to walk away and I felt for him. Only the fact that I know it will eventually pay off for him had me smiling when this post ended.

The final surrender will be very sweet indeed, for both of these stubborn boys.

Xan is obviously very used to getting what he wants, when he wants it. I suspect his whole experience has been a bit humbling for him. It's nice to see him focusing on Obi needs, instead of his own wants.

    Wondefully done, Adair.

*gasp* I go on vacation, and I come back to FIVE chapters!! Where do I start? I'm glad to see Obi-Wan in the temple finding himself. He's been so angsty throughout the story and needs to find some sort of peace with himself. I loved the Xan darkness. However, am I the only one that wants to see Xan humbled a little. We had a taste of it in that wonderful chapter when he gets smashed. Does he ever start to lose hope? But I'm patient...I realize it's probably not time for that yet...Obi-Wan's not ready.

By the way, since this story is nearing its end, I'm hoping another plot bunny will strike you regarding this pair. ;)

I just love it when Xani goes a little Darkside, even if it means giving the kiddies a bit of a scare. His reaction to Eitan's kiss had my heart pumping....still able to taste Obi on his lips...delicious!

Eitan's lesson on patience was just what Xan needed. You would have thought the conversation was happening between a master and a padawan inside the temple! I wonder if Xan was muttering about that very thing as he was walking away. :p

And as much as I dislike Mace, his little cameo was cute.

Obi will be spending a few days in the temple...that should drive everyone nuts! As always, you're right...this experience should show Obi where he belongs, and the thought of that reunion warms my heart. This is such a fantastic love story that the sex, while hot and amazingly well written, has become a much smaller part of it. I say that, but then I recognize an underlying eroticism in the way you describe everything from the slant of a character's eyes to he way he walks. Even a simple breeze is used as a sensual caress. Decadent!

I'm running out of accolades. Ah, here's one I haven't used yet...

    BRAVO!!!!!

Lori- You raise some interesting questions. I think this visit will show Obi just where he doesn't belong anymore. ,) And he strikes me as the type of person who would leave a positive lasting impression on people whose loves he touches. That's why I figured his friends would be so glad to see him.

Shan- I never imagined this story would grow like this either. I really never expected it to take the twists and turnes it has. I just hope I can brin everyone together in a way that pleases. :) Can't wait for that vig! Christmas?! Get busy writing missy~!

Ancient Sith Script? Interesting. If I wasn't intriqued before - this would certainly get my attention. Can't wait to find out what it means.

Loved the Yoda and Obi interaction. Its obvious that Obi was very loved as a child and made a long lasting impression on those he came into contact with - and still does apparently ;)

Yoda's analogy of the rainbow was very original and suits Obi well - good one. I'm glad Obi agreed to let Yoda help him to meditate - i'll bet it's exactly what he needs.

And again, i'm finding myself wondering just exactly what Xan is up to while all this is going on. Force, that man is addictive :D

I never imagined you'd take this bunny so far - i'm very much enjoying it, and find myself hoping it will just go on and on forever....silly as that sounds :) I know the inevitable end will come - but hopefully that just means that you have another delicious slash bunny in mind for our reading pleasure.

I'm hoping to have that viggie up by christmas - i'll let you know, but I think you're on my ff.n alert list anyways :D Back in a couple of days - hopefully that'll give you time to crank out another post. I still don't know how you do it girl - it takes me forever for one post!

Ancient Sith script, huh? That has my mind racing! You can tell me what it means...I promise not to tell Obi. :p

I'm loving how accepting everyone is being. I know Obi was expecting the worst, so this must bring him a measure of comfort. Obi can't become too comfortable, though. Even Yoda assumes Obi will see Xani long enough to be told what the necklace means. Besides, Obi has known far too much pleasure with Xan to live the rest of his life as a reclusive Jedi monk. Celibate Obi...talk about an oxymoron!

Hmmmm, if Obi won't come out of the temple, does that mean Xan will be forced to go in? Will both lost lambs be welcomed back to the flock?

This story has become an addiction. I check the board, at least, once a day. How many virtual Christmas cookies will it take to entice you to write a sequel? ;)

Lori- This version of Eitan is fun to play with. And what makes you think Yoda will pop up? :p

Shan- Please let me know when you post that Bruck vig! Thanks for the kind words, they inspire me to keep plugging along. :)

Should have next post up sometime Friday.

You have a talent for writing mush witout making it overwhelming and sickeningly sweet. Perfect mixture, this post was. I found myself smiling through the entire read.

There was something incredibly sweet about Eitan adjusting Obi's hood and guiding him thru the Temple. While I suspect Xan will be jealous and territorial about the kiss the two shared - if he really thinks about it, i'm sure he'll be thankful for the emotional support that Eitan's been able to provide in his absense.

You wrote Bant beautifully, she is such a sweet and caring friend - just the person to put Obi at ease before he runs into Yoda :D

Bruck certainly has evolved as a character most recently in a lot of fics. It's good to see another side of him - you present him very well. He's a complicated character. I hope I can do him justice in my new 'Shades' viggie**crosses fingers**.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Adair! I dare say this is one of the most popular fics on this board - and a well deserved title. Keep up the good work girl - enjoy your turkey day :D

Xan might discover the kiss, huh? I'm lovin' me some Dark Side Xani, so I hope we get to see one more little peek of him.

Sigh...that was simply lovely! And I love that he couldn't help himself from telling Bant about Xan. Her advice was perfect.

I love mischievous Eitan. What a hoot! Who would expect a respected Jedi Master to lie to a little padawan? Xani must really be rubbing off on him. Ha!

I have a feeling the mush has only just begun. Obi's bound to run into Yoda soon. That meeting should be another tear jerker.

Thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Shan- Bruck will address his feelings before this is over. And I’ll remind you that you said bring on the mush. lol

Lori- Oh I don’t think that kiss will go unnoticed. ;)

Blu_dragon- Aw! Thanks. That means so much.

Silentvondel- So glad it isn’t soppy! Hopefully I can keep it from going too far over the edge. As for the torque and bracelets, I too wonder what’s written on them. Lol And I’m glad Bruck is appealing. I’ve read a few stories recently that made me take a different look at him. Shans for one. :)

    Let the mush begin!
