Most interesting and exciting update. I am happy that Heph and Alexis are well and that the insane queen is dead. I hope that that is the fate of all the evil winged creatures.

I am sure that "pure unselfish love" could protect one from the hatred of evil.... as it prove to protect Heph and his friends from the undead. Little did Alexander know that his love for Heph saved his life.

    Update soon.

I read the whole thing in one go. I like your Incubus/Succubus incarnations. They remind me very much of Anne Bishop's Dark Jewels stories and yet are wholly original. Perhaps when Alexis/Serena are done here they can move onto to a new historical environment - I suggest you write it wholly offline and only marginally slashy. This premise is highly marketable in the present publishing environment. Even if you only write a novelette, combined with two other supernatural/otherworldly tales, it would be prime material. Kudos I heap upon you. Your grammar and spelling need some work, but the plot... MY GOD! The PLOT! It is a marvel.

A wonderful update with an exciting and very daring rescue.
Love how Alexis got rid of his enemies and how his deep love for Heph gave him the strength to save him from the dreadful pool.
    Hope you update soon.

Oh!! This chapter really worth waiting!! so exciting that I didn't know I could hold my breath that long! Alexis did prove his genuineness and love toward Hephaistion, he is a real hero!!! XD hope none of them hurt that bad and... hmm did I forget something? -"- O-oh what about the arrogant king? Ha I almost forgot that he's also the one who claim to love Hephaistion as much but do nothing except bringing in more trouble -__- sometimes, I couldn't help but wish him to learn the hardest way!! *evil grin* =p

A wonderful and exciting chapter. I love everything about it...and although things look a bit bleak, my Macedonians are doing quite well, especially Cleitas and Cassander...good strategy. Well, hope that Heph and Alexander get out of their predicament soon.

Looking forward to another update quite soon.

A wonderful and very exciting update.

At least they have a chance to live, a small one but one nevertheless.

Damn Alexander's mouth, he is so full of it sometimes and after condemning fifty men to die before,
he just wouldn't learn. At least this time he listened to Heph and the others.

Glad that Alexis and his sis went back and found Nearchus and the others... hope they get out without further deaths.

And Heph was doing really well, despite his pain and dark and dangerous surroundings and you let him fall...but I guess that Alexis will catch him...Right!!!!!.

Again, great update..looking forward to another soon....really, really soon.

BTW, I like this Hide and Seek Game...

A great update. Exciting and dramatic. Alexander's pride would always be his downfall. More than fifty soldiers died horribly for no reason...but his stubborn pride and vanity, fighting an enemy he didn't understand, who would murder their own, in their environment: unknown, enclosed, dark and dangerous, and he wouldn't listen to reason.

Their only hope now is Alexis and his sister.

Well done. Looking forward to a quicker update.

    Hi Queendel,

I'm happy you liked the chap. *very big smile* It's always strange to go on writing if I haven't worked at the story for some time. The next one is going to be quite tough as you already foresee.

Yeah, writting stories is really relaxing. (But I'm quite happy none of my clients nor any of the judges knows about my little hobby. The job is pretty conservative, you know.)

I wish you a great week too.

    Till next update.
