Wow. People like you are the reason there are sequels to stories where one can't tell the difference between the original author and the fan writer. If all fanfic authors were this good, the world would be a better place.

Well. I'm the bitter sarcastic sort and I ask you to keep that in mind as you read my attempt to make someone else read your absolutely astounding flawless sequel to Labyrinth. I also ask you to keep in mind that I am gay, gay, gay, so gay, beyond gay, and that to interest me in a hetero love story takes some real Maestro/a level skill.

My IM, as followed the link to your fabulous story:
: And that is a beautiful sequel to the Labyrinth story, which even I with my utterly Unseelie hatred for all things soft and romantic really enjoyed. Plausible plot, just enough Underground politics to make it seem real, and actual fucking original characters that seem real and make me care what happens to them.

(yes, I meant that, and I said it because OC usually means MarySue and also AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You have done neither. Anyone can take a universe and riff on what the creators have made; it takes a real writer to ADD to it, convincingly, and with reader interest and involvement, as you have. Flawless. My deepest thanks and appreciation.)

(and while I am in parenthesis, let me thank you for an utterly unforeseen Labyrinth-plot twist (Sarah's terminal illness) that was both satisfyingly resolved, and un-story-destroyingly included. As you can see I suck at English but I do mean that)

    More IM text:
Oh, and Jareth and Sarah are utterly IN character from what I can vouch for, and their little recreation of the last-Escher-room is so romantic that if I had a heart inclined towards such things, I'd sniffle. (sniffle) Of course, when I do it, it's only cocaine. (sniffle) REALLY. I would never sniffle over Art. Well, over just ANY art. Well, never mind.

RevMurder666: Granted, I rolled my eyes at the "you only love me cos of the spell" thing that kept recurring, but the resolution was lovely and devoted and utterly realistic considering the race/law/setting of the characters. Such attention to detail really makes me happy. Check it out.

    ________

I wish, vaguely, that I could be more complimentary somehow but it's against my nature. Surely you understand. However, since I hate almost everything and I like almost NOTHING EVER enough to recommend it to (the recepient of that IM) my very closest and best friends, I hope you do take the sincerely meant if badly worded compliment I'm trying to fking give you in this terribly structured review.

In other words: Good show. *applause* Yes, for once, that last has no sarcasm at all. In fact, I hope, utterly, that Jareth and Sarah are real and that you have been blessed with the Sight to show us all their future.

In other other words: Thank you. I really appreciated this and I am Lieutenant to a writer so I really DO know what work goes into a work of this length, and coherency, and awesomeness. You are a Hell of a writer and I hope for purely selfish reasons that you continue. Oh, yes, and I suppose it would also do the world some good. (eyeroll as the World mostly sucks and I generally wish it no good)

It certainly did ME some good that you got me this convincingly, utterly, involved and away from the Aboveground. Several utterly wonderful hours I spent, Underground, and with all sincerity and no sarcasm at all, I thank you for that. Because I know for every hour I spent comfortably happily Away you spend at least five if not ten, making this magick for me.

I wish you all the best. You deserve it.

Oh WOW! The absolute BEST Labby fic I have EVER read! The love scenes were beautiful and not written like someone just threw it together for the sex either. Very good.

I have to say I am greatly impressed with this story. I have never realy cared for the movie in it's self. But th is story, was so well written and put in a perspective I would never have thought to look at. The way you did this was remarkable. I can't wait to read your other stories. Thank you for taking the time to write this out.

So far I've read both of your 10+ chapter stories, and I really enjoyed them both! You have a wonderful style of writing that kept me reading and made me despair when I'd thought I'd lost the URL to your stories! Can't wait to read the sequel to this one; this is the first story I've read that switched the roles of who was really in control: Sarah or Jareth? Keep writing!

::fanning myself:: ::sighing in pleasure:: ::satisfied grin::
Oh, my dear, you are absolutely fantabulous. ::smirk:: That was the perfectest (yes, I said it) ending to a Labyrinth fic that I've ever read!! Their combined fantasy was just plain HOT, and beautifully written, and...::happy sigh:: This entire fic had me riveted. All of the characters were fantastic, and their roles were believable and NOT one-dimensional. Jareth and Sarah's relationship was the perfect pace, and their romance so touching and believable...This has to the the first time that I was eager to get home and finish reading a fic. Congratulations: you now have one hooked reader. :)
I look forward to reading more of your work. ::smirk:: And since I'm staying home at the moment, be assured that I'll happily spend the entire day reading your stories! I LOVE IT!!!

You should make a sequel! What happens to Sarah? Does she get to become immortal too? And what happens with their child?? The story was awesome!
