So far I've made it through chapter three, and a lot of it is coming back to me. I had a good laugh at the way they keep calling her one of ~those~ types, like she's shady or something. Maybe to them I suppose...

Of course it was raining, stinging pellets that drove into exposed skin. That was to be expected he supposed, but just once he would like to face death without being soaking bloody wet.

That set the scene nicely for a great chapter, the tension and fear is palpable and the descriptions very vivid! Good to see Jack in his rightful element at the helm of his beloved Pearl.

When the time is right all will be clear, there is no such thing as coincidence, all is as it should be…

I so understand Maia's frustration! Nothing worse than being told things will reveal themselves in good time when all you want is a clear answer...

Poor Jack. Not like him at all to be so bothered over a woman. Will be interesting to see how this all turns out.

It was all or nothing and if it could not be all then it must be nothing.

There's so much sadness in this chapter, both of them yearning for something that is just out of reach. The observation how Jack 'hadn't put on his public face' gives a revealing insight into his character and I love how you have given him so much more depth in this.

What a beautifully sensual chapter this was. A big step forward for both of them, giving that little bit more and abandoning themselves...

Life had been much simpler before she had met Jack Sparrow.

I think Jack would agree that his life was much simpler before he met Maia... They definitely make an intriguing couple and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Fantastic build up of the tension between the two of them and then things almost spinning out of control. Lucky thing Jack is so resourceful...

Your descriptions are so vivid that I can feel the oppressive quiet on and around The Black Pearl. Not looking like easy street for either Jack or Maya is it... Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

As Jack might say: interesting, very interesting... The closer Jack and Maia get physically, the further away from each other they seem to get.

Seeking to slake a thirst that mere rum could not quench.

    I love this sentence.

Another great chapter, both Maia and Jack unsettled and trying to come to terms with something they cannot control. Freedom - such a precious thing and so easy to lose...

Love the way you describe Jack here, how he 'puts on' his persona again and becomes 'Captain Jack Sparrow', returning to his familiar role, although clearly changed in a way he struggles to understand...

I like how you show a different side to Jack here, a man that is not in control and so self-assured, struggling to cope with being dependent on someone else.

Wonderful chapter, love all the mystic elements and how Maia is struggling with herself, doubting her ability to save Jack. Was good to see he must be on the mend since he was able to appreciate her walking in from the surf...

My heart was in my mouth the whole time reading this chapter; I love the mystical/spiritual element. I hope Jack's okay...*crosses fingers*
